“Why must you act this way, sir?” the child said, shaking his head.

“We are rely seeking a way to break the deadlock.”

“What do you an by breaking the deadlock?” Xu Zimo asked in return.

“A path that allows my people to be like the vast, boundless ocean, endless and enduring, forever flourishing,” the child replied.

“What did those races promise you, that you were willing to use your own people’s essence blood to divine heavenly secrets?” Xu Zimo asked.

“Sothing extrely generous, generous enough that we could not refuse,” the child said.

“It’s sothing you cannot give .”

“I can’t?” Xu Zimo asked with interest. “Do you know who I am?”

The child shook his head.

“Our Ancient Relicfolk does not easily divine ourselves. The closer the divination is to oneself, the less accurate it becos. But after doing sothing as grave as leaking heavenly secrets, I feared great calamity and divined a hexagram for myself, and for our Ancient Relicfolk as well.”

He continued, “Although I cannot calculate your identity, I do know that you ca because of matters related to heavenly secrets.”

“Since you know that, why not surrender?” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes. “Do you really think you can escape?”

“How would I know if I don’t try?” the child laughed. “Even a trapped beast dares to struggle. Why wouldn’t we?”

Xu Zimo raised his right hand. Terrifying power erupted within his palm.

He beckoned lightly and said calmly, “I’ll give you a chance to resist. Let see how capable you really are.”

“Then watch closely,” the child said. “When my Ancient Relicfolk reaches the Saint Sovereign realm, we undergo a true transformation. And I suspect that if we were to enter the Infinite Dao realm, our race would change even more dramatically.”

As he spoke, he extended his right hand, and a character seal appeared before him.

“Heaven-earth script,” Xu Zimo said with interest.

So-called heaven-earth script referred to the first batch of characters born within the world.

At the ti of creation, influenced by Xu Zimo, the world itself evolved these characters.

With the ergence of characters ca language, and only then could living beings communicate.

These characters scattered across the world, guiding humanity toward developnt and creation.

Seeing this character, Xu Zimo beca intrigued.

It seed the child had obtained part of the inheritance of heaven-earth script.

The character in the child’s hand was the word ‘asure’.

To asure heavenly secrets, to asure all things in the world.

By this ti, most heaven-earth characters had already dissipated into the world. Any that remained were extrely rare.

The child took out a drop of his essence blood, staining the character crimson.

Then he thrust both hands into his own abdon and forcibly tore it open, extracting a bone engraved with countless runic seals.

This was the Ancient Relicfolk’s secret.

Their ability to align with heaven and earth and perceive heavenly secrets relied heavily on this Heaven-Connecting Profound Bone.

Xu Zimo was deeply interested in the native life forms of the God World.

This bone carried so of the world’s edicts, and they were core, supre edicts at that.

“At the origin of all things, the World-Destroying Spear,” the child intoned.

The heaven-and-earth character and the Heaven-Connecting Profound Bone in his hands began to evolve together.

Wisps of misty energy spread outward.

Thunder rumbled endlessly.

The asure character began tracing Xu Zimo’s origin and foundation, while the Heaven-Connecting Profound Bone used the power of edicts to prepare to annihilate him.

The bone transford into a long spear, bound by chains of iron.

This was another unique trait of the Ancient Relicfolk.

Each ti they advanced a realm, one chain on the bone would break, unsealing a new ability.

If all twelve chains were broken, it ant they had reached the absolute pinnacle of the God World.

This was similar to Xu Zimo opening all twelve ridian gates and transcending into an undying state.

The character continued its tracing.

A beam of light fell upon Xu Zimo, and the character began to pursue his origin.

Xu Zimo did not resist at all, allowing the tracing to proceed.

After a long while, however, the character suddenly trembled and visibly shrank, revealing no images whatsoever.

The child was struck with disbelief.

“How is this possible?”

Ever since he had obtained this heaven-and-earth character, it had never failed him.

Even the powerhouses of the god and beast races could have their past traced.

Yet this human before him could not be traced at all.

Seeing the child frown in confusion, Xu Zimo smiled.

“There’s no need to trouble yourself. You want to know why it can’t trace ? I’ll tell you myself.”

As his words fell, imnse power surged around Xu Zimo.

Thunder roared as creative force shot into the heavens.

At that mont, the sky itself seed to welco him.

Seven-colored clouds spread across the horizon, white clouds transford into a boundless sea of clouds, and countless golden lotus blossoms of rit descended.

Golden springs gushed from the earth. Heaven and earth rejoiced.

A breeze passed by, as if dancing lightly.

Xu Zimo smiled.

“I want there to be thunder in this world, and so there is thunder.”

Instantly, thunder rolled and lightning split the clear sky.

“I want there to be rain in this world, and so there is rain.”

In the next instant, under a blazing sun, torrential rain poured down, an utterly bizarre sight.

“I find the world too lonely, and so the myriad races ca into being.”

At this mont, Xu Zimo was the Ultimate Creator incarnate, commanding all things, plucking the sun and moon, ruling heaven and earth. The entire world existed to serve him.

“Do you understand now? Because I am this world’s father. I am the creator of everything. You may call the Ultimate Creator.”

Watching Xu Zimo command wind and rain as heaven and earth applauded, the child stood dumbfounded, utterly horrified.

It took him a long ti to regain his senses.

He could scarcely believe what he had just seen.

He had rely leaked so heavenly secrets and ended up drawing the Ultimate Creator himself?

In truth, he did not know how seriously Xu Zimo regarded Heaven-Slayers.

Perhaps, taken alone, the heavenly secrets he revealed were insignificant.

These people were still far from being able to slay the heavens.

But a single spark could start a prairie fire.

Xu Zimo would never allow such seeds to continue growing.

Otherwise, his world might end up like the Nine Heavens, where powerful figures constantly sought to slay the heavens.

What if he were to stumble at a critical mont?

The matter of the Nine Heavens was not yet resolved. How could he tolerate others running rampant on his own territory?

“I want you dead, so you are already dead,” Xu Zimo said calmly.

He pointed at the child.

The child staggered back several steps, then suddenly broke into a crazed expression.

“You say you’re the Ultimate Creator? That’s ridiculous. Where would a world have a creator? My fate is mine, not heaven’s! Spear, kill him!”

As he shouted, he controlled his Heaven-Connecting Profound Bone, transforming it into the shape of a long spear.

It shattered space itself and shot straight toward Xu Zimo.

Thunder roared as overwhelming power swept forward, unstoppable and dominant.

Like a torrent of light and energy, it surged toward him.

Xu Zimo looked up and let out a laugh.

“What I can give you, I can also take back.”
