Ye Qingcheng looked at Lin Ruhu and hurried over.

When she clearly saw his condition, her expression tightened with pain.

She collapsed to the ground in shock, staring blankly at Lin Ruhu.

“How did he end up like this?” she asked.

“The Three Corpses did this,” Xu Zimo replied calmly.

“To save him now, the only way is to fuse the Three Corpse Mist. I’ve already fused the Upper Corpse Mist.

What remains are the Middle Corpse Mist and the Lower Corpse Mist.”

“I’ll go plead with the Queen Mother right now and ask Jade Court to help search,” Ye Qingcheng said, standing up imdiately.

“Holy Maiden,” the Ancient Heaven Dao Lord beside her sighed softly.

“The Nine Heavens are too vast. If the other party is determined to hide, no one will be able to find them.”

“So if we can’t find them, we just give up?” Ye Qingcheng shot back.

“As long as there’s even the slightest hope, I won’t abandon it.”

Seeing her determination, Xu Zimo thought for a mont and said, “I may know where the Middle Corpse Mist is. Right now, only the Lower Corpse Mist has no clues. Jade Court can help search for that.”

“The Lower Corpse Mist represents desire, specifically lust. You should pay attention in that direction.”

Ye Qingcheng nodded slightly.

“I’ll go ask the Queen Mother imdiately and mobilize all of Jade Court to search,” she said.

After speaking, she glanced at Lin Ruhu again with visible worry.

“How long can he remain in this state?” she asked.

She was afraid that even if they found the Lower Corpse Mist, Lin Ruhu might not be able to hold on by then.

“He has absorbed the Upper Corpse Mist. He can last one hundred years. I’ll find a way to let him absorb the Middle Corpse Mist. At most, that will buy two hundred years,” Xu Zimo said.

That was only his estimate. The actual ti might be even shorter.

“I understand,” Ye Qingcheng said softly. She looked at Lin Ruhu one last ti, then stepped into the void and left.

She needed Jade Court’s help.

Relying on her alone would be like searching for a needle in the ocean, utterly futile.

Watching Ye Qingcheng’s departing figure, the Ancient Heaven Dao Lord let out another sigh.

He turned to Xu Zimo, hesitated briefly, then spoke.

“Daoist, there are so things I really shouldn’t say.”

“Then don’t say them,” Xu Zimo replied. He already knew what the man wanted to say.

The Ancient Heaven Dao Lord continued regardless.

“The Holy Maiden is extrely important to Jade Court. Our hope is that she enters the Infinite Dao realm within the next one hundred years. The dead cannot be revived, and many things are harder than reaching the heavens. There’s really no need to hold others back.”

He was being relatively tactful.

What he truly ant was that Lin Ruhu could not be saved and it was pointless to waste everyone else’s effort and ti.

“Believe it or not, if you don’t get lost right now, I’ll bury you right here,” Xu Zimo said, staring at him.

“Get lost.”

The Ancient Heaven Dao Lord narrowed his eyes. At his level, it had been a very long ti since anyone dared to speak to him like this.

But he could not see through Xu Zimo.

If it had been anyone else, he would have slapped them to death on the spot.

“Take care of yourself,” the Ancient Heaven Dao Lord replied flatly, then tore through the sky and departed.

In his eyes, Xu Zimo was simply ignorant and ungrateful.

Jade Court might be powerful, but information on the Three Corpses was far too limited.

Not to ntion how vast the Upper Heavens were, the strength of the Three Corpses alone would lead most people to be silenced outright.

Only Infinite Dao cultivators could contend with them, and how many Infinite Dao cultivators were there, really?

Watching the Ancient Heaven Dao Lord leave, Xu Zimo patted Lin Ruhu on the shoulder.

Grinning, he said, “Ruhu, just wait. No matter what it takes, I’ll wake you up.”

With that, he stored Lin Ruhu within the God World.

The God World was absolutely safe, and it was also nourished by the Great Dao itself.

Xu Zimo walked step by step out of the Three Corpse Cave.

At that mont, it felt as though countless gazes were fixed upon him.

For the first ti, soone had walked out of the Three Corpse Cave alive.

He did not care. The Three Corpse Burial Ground was nothing special after all.

He stepped through the void and left the forbidden land, arriving in Three Corpse City.

The city was still bustling, but beneath the surface, dark undercurrents were stirring.

Pedestrians hurried along. Amid the liveliness was a sense of impending storm, as if calamity lood overhead.

Xu Zimo remained calm.

He arrived at the Middle Corpse Palace, long regarded as the administrative center of Three Corpse City.

In truth, the Middle Corpse Palace rarely involved itself in the city’s affairs.

When Xu Zimo arrived, the person who had received him before was already standing at the entrance.

“Where is your lord?” Xu Zimo asked.

“Our lord knew Young Master Xu would co and has been waiting for a long ti,” the man said with a smile.

He gestured respectfully.

“Please follow , Young Master.”

Xu Zimo said nothing more and walked inside.

He could clearly sense that the corpse mist here was much thinner than before.

“Is this because of ?” he thought to himself.

Upon entering the grand hall again, the man withdrew. The green-robed figure seated above turned around.

Laughing loudly, he said, “Daoist, you really are full of surprises. I thought you would need my assistance.”

Xu Zimo said nothing, rely stared at him calmly.

“Where are the Three Corpse bones?” the man in green robes asked as he stood up.

“You said they could save my friend,” Xu Zimo replied.

“Of course. As long as I get the corpse bones, I can drain all the corpse mist from his body,” the man said with a smile.

“After resting for a while, he’ll naturally be fine.”

“So his current condition is only because of corpse mist?” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.

“It seems you don’t plan on telling the truth.”

“What do you know?” the green-robed man froze, clearly confused.

“Where is the Middle Corpse?” Xu Zimo asked directly.

At those words, the man in green robes understood. Xu Zimo knew what Lin Ruhu was truly experiencing.

“Hmm... That shouldn’t be possible. That fat man was stupid, but he wouldn’t tell everything,” the man muttered, stroking his chin in thought.

“I’ll ask one more ti. Where is the Middle Corpse?” Xu Zimo said.

Shadow Tyrant in his hand trembled slightly.

Terrifying blade light seed ready to burst forth at any mont.

“Don’t be so agitated. Give the corpse bones, and I’ll tell you where the Middle Corpse is,” the man said.

“Since you won’t speak willingly, don’t bla ,” Xu Zimo snorted coldly.

The blade light in his hand erupted completely.

“If you won’t talk, I’ll just beat it out of you.”

Boom, boom, boom.

The blade light crashed down, flinging endless corpse mist into the air.

The entire grand hall began to shake violently.

“Damn it, are you for real?!” the man in green robes stared at Xu Zimo, his gaze flickering.

He seed to be weighing sothing in his mind.

“The Middle Corpse is right here, isn’t he?” Xu Zimo said calmly.

“Stop pretending. You’re not even qualified to speak to . Have him co out.”

The blade light soared into the sky, shattering the entire grand hall. Xu Zimo raised his blade and charged straight at the man in green robes.

Boom.

The man in green robes unleashed astonishing might, catching Shadow Tyrant with a single hand. His robes fluttered, his aura surging like a rainbow.

“A re puppet dares block ?” Xu Zimo snorted coldly.

The blade light in his hand surged once more.

Boom.

Another violent explosion rang out.
