At this mont, tens of millions of glowing treasure orbs floated in the void, allowing Xu Zimo to choose freely.

The shock of such a scene was self-evident.

Among the countless orbs, many people nearby swallowed hard.

So even harbored the urge to rush forward and snatch them.

Several figures burst out from different directions, reaching toward the glowing orbs.

Although Xu Zimo was extrely powerful, and had just killed Chen Xuan and the others, human nature had always been thus.

Fine wine flatters the face, wealth stirs the heart.

As long as the temptation is great enough, people will take desperate risks. How rare is it to find those who truly fear death?

Seeing these people, Xu Zimo did not move.

After all, these were not his treasures, and he knew soone else would be even angrier than he was.

In the next instant, towering dragon might surged skyward.

Dragon roars echoed as the azure dragon statue above the treasure sea suddenly opened its massive jaws and swallowed all those who had made a move.

In that mont, anyone who still harbored ill intentions instantly cald down.

Cold sweat broke out as they silently rejoiced that they had not acted.

“So the rumors are true. There really is a powerful existence within Azure Dragon Cave,” soone said.

“But why would all these treasures appear at once? Just because of a single sentence from him?” Others looked at Xu Zimo’s figure, their eyes filled with awe.

Even Ye Qingcheng looked astonished.

She gazed at Xu Zimo, feeling that she suddenly could not see through him anymore.

Although the glowing orbs concealed everything, making it impossible for ordinary people to discern the true form of the treasures, how could such radiance possibly obscure Xu Zimo’s eyes?

His gaze swept across them.

Almost every treasure was laid bare before him.

“I’ve found it,” he suddenly said, his expression tightening.

Among the glowing orbs, he saw a blood-red key.

If his perception was correct, this should be the key to the Three Corpse Burial Ground.

Xu Zimo’s eyes sharpened as he reached directly for the blood-red key.

At that mont, a massive hand descended from the sky.

It seized the orb containing the key and imdiately vanished into the void.

“Stealing from right under my nose?” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.

He stepped into the air and chased after the retreating hand.

As Xu Zimo departed, the countless glowing orbs fell back down, sinking once more into the treasure sea.

At this ti, many people gathered there.

“Bring out all the glowing orbs,” soone shouted from above, imitating Xu Zimo’s tone.

“Your posture is wrong,” soone nearby retorted.

“He was standing sideways, looking up at a thirty-five-degree angle.”

A group of people mimicked him with exaggerated seriousness, looking like complete fools.

Xu Zimo chased after the hand holding the key.

Suddenly, several figures appeared ahead, blocking his path.

“Fellow Daoist, please don’t be alard,” the leader said. He was a man dressed in a red robe.

His face was pale, and beneath the red robe was a suit of armor.

“Give the key,” Xu Zimo said calmly.

His right hand had already rested on Shadow Tyrant.

If the other party uttered even a single word of refusal, Xu Zimo would strike imdiately.

To his surprise, the man handed the key over to him.

“Soone wishes to et you, but we could not appear openly. There were too many people at Azure Dragon Cave. We had no choice but to lead you here,” the red-robed man said apologetically.

It was clear that his attitude was sincere, yet Xu Zimo still frowned slightly.

“Do we know each other?”

“No, we do not. It’s just that our master wishes to et you. We wonder if you would honor us with your presence,” the red-robed man replied.

“I’m curious to see exactly who it is,” Xu Zimo nodded.

He followed the group of red-robed n to a massive palace.

The palace was located on the eastern side of Three Corpse City.

In front of it stood a stone stele, engraved with three characters.

Middle Corpse Palace.

“What kind of place is this?” Xu Zimo frowned slightly.

Even before entering, he could already sense an overwhelming corpse aura, or rather, death energy.

The death energy here was far too dense.

Even Xu Zimo had never seen such a terrifying concentration of death energy before.

It felt as though the mont one stepped inside, their lifespan would begin to drain away continuously.

This was not a place ant for the living.

“Daoist friend, don’t worry. This death energy will not harm you,” the red-robed man said with a smile.

“Trifling death energy is nothing worth ntioning,” Xu Zimo waved his hand dismissively.

He was no stranger to the Dao of Death.

Moreover, the Dao of Life could equally counterbalance such death energy.

Just as the red-robed n had said, once they entered Middle Corpse Palace, not a single wisp of death energy dared approach them.

All the death energy gathered together, opening a clear path.

This only made Xu Zimo more curious about the existence residing within.

Middle Corpse Palace was vast, containing at least a hundred buildings.

The red-robed n led Xu Zimo to the tallest and most imposing hall.

Smiling, the man explained, “You may enter, Daoist friend. Our master awaits inside. We will guard the outside and prevent any interruptions.”

Xu Zimo nodded.

When he reached the door, the gates of the hall opened on their own, allowing him to step inside.

The interior space was enormous.

Xu Zimo could sense an even denser concentration of death energy.

Such a scale of death energy could not be achieved even by the deaths of tens of trillions.

A rumbling sound suddenly echoed.

The death energy dispersed, revealing the center of the grand hall.

A chair turned slowly around.

Only then did Xu Zimo see a man seated upon it, dressed in a green robe, his skin pallid and sickly.

Even sitting still, the imnse death energy within his body was barely restrained.

“Sorry to disturb you, Daoist friend,” the green-robed man said with a smile.

When he smiled, his facial skin did not move at all, making it a chilling sight.

“Who are you?” Xu Zimo asked.

“You may call the City Lord. I have no na,” the green-robed man replied with a smile.

“Putting on airs,” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.

“Why did you seek out?”

“I wish to discuss a transaction with you,” the green-robed man said.

“I have investigated so matters concerning you. I hope you won’t take offense.”

“I do take offense,” Xu Zimo replied calmly.

“I can help you save your younger brother, the young man nad Lin Ruhu,” the green-robed man said with a smile.

“I don’t need your help to save him,” Xu Zimo replied.

“Under normal circumstances, I would believe that your strength is more than sufficient. But this ti, the Three Corpse Burial Ground is sowhat different,” the green-robed man explained.

“What do you an?” Xu Zimo frowned slightly.

“Perhaps after this opening, the Three Corpse Burial Ground will never open again. And according to the information I have obtained, your younger brother has already beco one of the chosen,” the green-robed man said.

“What does that an?” Xu Zimo frowned.

“How much do you know about the Three Corpse Burial Ground?” the green-robed man asked.

“Not much. I only know it’s a dangerous place,” Xu Zimo replied.

“The existence of the Three Corpse Burial Ground is actually ant for inheritance,” the green-robed man said.
