New Novel🪶

“You accuse us of harboring a fugitive,” one of the Hollow Cave Elders said coldly. “Do you have any proof?”

“Proof…” Bian Wenzhou knew he was on shaky ground. This kind of thing couldn’t be proven with words alone. “If you let search the Prince’s Manor myself, then I’d have all the proof I need.”

“How ridiculous,” one of the elders sneered. “Then we’ll suppress you today.”

They represented the Prince’s Manor, and every move they made had to uphold its reputation. Thus, they ensured they stood on the moral high ground from the start. In front of the citizens of Chaos Fire City, no matter what they did next, no one would dare criticize them.

The Hollow Cave Elders stepped into the sky, each forming the Hollow Cave Seal in one hand. Their power shattered the heavens and crushed the earth, the very air split apart. The seals fell like colossal mountains, carrying the pressure of peaks themselves, roaring down with the sound of thunder.

Bian Wenzhou let out a low grunt. Zhang Hengzhi stepped forward to stand beside him. “Let help,” he said.

Bian Wenzhou nodded.

The two unleashed their full strength. Their combined power clashed fiercely with the Hollow Cave Elders.

Xu Zimo turned to glance at Shangguan Xian, who imdiately understood his intention.

The celestial fla in her hands erupted, transforming in an instant into a boundless sea of fire, surging, roaring, and boiling without end.

The inferno swept forward and began consuming the massive gates of the Prince’s Manor.

She was… setting the Prince’s Manor ablaze.

Such an act in the Chaos Fire God Realm was the height of audacity, madness, even. No one had ever dared behave so recklessly in front of the Prince’s Manor. Even the Chaos Fire God Realm itself would normally show restraint and respect.

But Xu Zimo didn’t care.

He wanted to draw out the true powers of the manor, the real decision-makers who still hadn’t appeared.

Perhaps his current status wasn’t enough to compel them. Or perhaps they simply didn’t consider him worth their attention.

Either way, Xu Zimo was unconcerned. His job was simple, to crush through all obstacles.

As the celestial flas raged higher, the crowd around them went wild with disbelief.

Everyone thought Xu Zimo and his companions were courting death, this was sheer suicide.

Crackling sounds filled the air.

At last, a calm voice sounded from within the manor.

“Why force to appear?”

A streak of icy-blue fire burst forth from within the estate. It spread rapidly, freezing the raging celestial flas in an instant.

Fire was divided between yin and yang.

If Shangguan Xian’s flas were pure yang, blazing and scorching, then this Bone-Chilling Yinfire was pure yin, cold and ghostly.

Yang flas burned the body, while yin flas attacked the soul.

Now, the two polar fires clashed head-on.

Shangguan Xian’s eyes glead brightly. “You wish to freeze my fire without even showing your face?” she said softly. “I’m afraid that’s impossible.”

As her voice fell, immortal energy surged around her, pure and flawless.

This was her Celestial Spirit Physique. Though not as rare as a Primordial Fla God-King Physique, it was still a formidable constitution.

As her spirit body awakened, her power multiplied. The frozen flas reignited with renewed ferocity. In re monts, the front courtyard of the manor was an inferno once more, the fire burning heaven and earth alike.

The guards tried desperately to extinguish it, but their efforts were useless.

Then, a deep sigh echoed through the air.

“Must you really make appear?”

An old man wearing a long robe of deep scarlet slowly erged from the flas.

Behind him ca a group of others.

“It’s the Fla Sovereign!” soone gasped.

“Fla Sovereign? But wasn’t he killed years ago, during the war against the Water Beasts? How is he still alive?”

“And behind him, that’s Immortal Prince, the master of the Prince’s Manor, and several of their elders!”

Many among the crowd had already recognized them. With so many onlookers, it was only natural.

“Sovereign… it’s you?” Bian Wenzhou’s expression shifted drastically the mont he saw the crimson-robed elder. He could hardly believe his eyes.

Fire Bane City had long been under siege by the Water Beasts. Before that, there had been another city to the north, Soaring Fire City.

Soaring Fire City had been destroyed, and only then had the Water Beasts turned their attention to Fire Bane City.

Fortunately, the beasts had hesitated to attack in full force, limiting themselves to probing assaults.

That had been why Xu Zimo’s arrival had been so fortuitous, his encounter with the blue-skinned being, the origin of the Water Beasts, had ultimately resolved the crisis.

Bian Wenzhou knew the Fla Sovereign because they had once fought side by side during the dood defense of Soaring Fire City.

He had personally witnessed the Fla Sovereign fall amid the swarm of beasts. For a long ti afterward, he had mourned his death.

“You’re alive,” Bian Wenzhou said in disbelief.

“Yes,” the Fla Sovereign replied with a solemn nod.

“It was your doing, wasn’t it?” Bian Wenzhou said bitterly. “That was your conspiracy. You wanted Soaring Fire City destroyed.”

The Fla Sovereign said nothing, but Immortal Prince behind him shouted, “City Lord Bian! Are you trying to lose your title? How dare you act so outrageously in our Prince’s Manor!”

“My position was appointed by the Chaos Fire God Realm, not by your manor,” Bian Wenzhou shot back coldly. “Or has your Prince’s Manor begun giving orders to the Chaos Fire God Realm now?”

Since their conflict was already out in the open, he no longer bothered with pretense.

His words struck deep, implicating not just the manor but the Chaos Fire God Realm itself.

The Chaos Fire God Realm ruled over the entire region, it was no one’s private guard.

Hearing this, Immortal Prince’s face twisted with anger. “Justice will speak for itself,” he growled. “Bian Wenzhou, after today, the Prince’s Manor will not rest until this matter is settled.”

“Your manor’s sins over the years are countless,” Bian Wenzhou retorted. “If not for the protection of your ancestors’ glory, you’d have been wiped out long ago.”

He’d cast aside all restraint now.

“I ca here today knowing full well the consequences. Don’t try to intimidate , it won’t work.”

Immortal Prince’s fury erupted. “Fla Sovereign, seize him for !”

The Fla Sovereign’s eyes narrowed slightly.

But before he could move, Shangguan Xian stepped in front of him.

“Your opponent is ,” she said with a cool smile.

“Little girl,” the Fla Sovereign said evenly, “you have talent and strength, but you are no match for .”

He raised his hand, and pure heavenly fire poured from his palm like flowing water, spreading across the ground to form a sea of flas beneath his feet.

“You won’t know until we fight,” Shangguan Xian said coldly.

Her celestial flas surged once more, colliding head-on with his divine fire.

In the blink of an eye, their figures beca two streaks of blazing light, clashing again and again across the sky.

This level of battle would not be decided quickly.

Xu Zimo turned his gaze toward Immortal Prince.

“Where is Blade Tyrant?” he asked.

“What business do you have with Brother Blade?” Immortal Prince replied cautiously.

He knew Xu Zimo was a Saint Sovereign, and that title alone commanded a certain respect, even from him.
