"Get lost. If I ever see you bullying the weak again, my sword won’t be so rciful next ti," Chu Yang said calmly.
"You just wait, kid!" Young Master Yin backed away a few steps, then fled in a panic.
Watching him leave, Chu Yang turned around and helped the old man sitting on the ground up. He smiled and asked, "Are you alright, uncle?"
"You should leave quickly, young man. You're a good person, but that Yin Shaoyu's father is the City Lord of Five Elents City. We can’t fight him," the old man said hurriedly. "I don’t matter, but I don’t want you to be dragged into this."
"That’s right, young man, leave now while you still can," the surrounding townsfolk also urged.
"Everyone, may I ask, what is this City Lord’s cultivation level?" Chu Yang asked with a frown.
"Although Five Elents City is small, our City Lord is at the peak of the True ridian Realm and has opened three ridian Gates," soone explained.
"Wait here, I’ll be right back," Chu Yang said, and walked straight toward the City Lord’s Mansion.
After all his recent trials, and with the Grand Dao of Yin-Yang now fused within him, Chu Yang had also reached the peak of the True ridian Realm.
He believed that, at his level, he did not have to fear anyone.
...
As the young man with a sword left, a beautiful woman in the crowd watched him with interest and quietly followed.
At that mont in the City Lord’s Mansion, Yin Xuanying was listening to his son cry and whine.
Frowning, he said, "I know you love to exaggerate, and I know you're hopeless trash. But still, you’re my son. What this kid did, he completely disrespected ."
Yin Xuanying stood up, and a powerful aura burst forth from his body, he was at the peak of the True ridian Realm.
He wore a greenish-blue robe, and his hands, hidden in his sleeves, were strangely pale.
His palms looked like they were made of jade, crystal clear and translucent.
When he stood up, he gave the impression of a hunting hawk. His brows were light, and his eyes gloomy and sharp.
Just then, a scream rang out from outside. Before Yin Xuanying could even react, a figure was sent flying into the room.
With claw-like hands, bony, skinless, with long fingernails, Yin Xuanying grabbed the figure midair and tossed it aside.
Frowning slightly, he saw that the person was the steward of his household.
Then he looked toward the door, where a white-robed youth was calmly walking in.
With each step the boy took, his aura grew stronger. His ridian Gates opened one by one.
"Fountwheel, Deepbone, Dawnwind."
When all three ridian Gates were open, Yin Xuanying realized the youth's aura wasn’t weaker than his own, if anything, it was slightly stronger.
"Who are you?" Yin Xuanying asked with a frown.
"Father, it’s him! He’s the one I was telling you about!" Yin Shaoyu quickly hid behind him and pointed at Chu Yang.
"I'm just a passerby," Chu Yang said with a light chuckle. "I’m simply standing up for the common folk of this city."
"Youth, just because you have so talent, don’t get cocky," Yin Xuanying sneered.
He was a seasoned veteran of the True ridian Realm, he didn’t believe he couldn’t handle so fresh-faced kid.
Spiritforce surged around Yin Xuanying’s hands, which now resembled beast claws, sharp and vicious.
He lunged at Chu Yang, his claws leaving glaring white streaks through the air.
Chu Yang raised his Wandering Dragon Sword. The blade humd softly, radiating Yin-Yang energies.
Like slashing through twilight, his sword clashed with the claws, sending sparks flying.
Yin Xuanying staggered back two steps and looked at his hands. There was now a clear white mark where the sword had struck.
His frown deepened. In just one move, he had been put at a disadvantage.
"Looks like your mouth is far stronger than your actual skill," Chu Yang snorted, raising his sword slowly.
At that mont, an overwhelming sword intent surged outward. Tables and doors around the room were neatly sliced apart.
This was the Heavenly Firmant Sword Canon, a ridian Technique once gifted to Chu Yang by Yue Buli.
As the sword intent reached its peak, Yin Xuanying’s expression shifted. He crouched slightly, like a hawk diving on prey.
An eagle cry echoed out of nowhere, and Yin Xuanying lunged at Chu Yang again.
Chu Yang quickly stepped back, dodging the twin claw strike.
Once his sword was fully charged, the Yin-Yang energy combined with the Heavenly Firmant Sword Intent and slashed downward with full force.
Yin Xuanying raised his hands in defense. Dark green blood splattered into the air as both of his arms were severed.
As he collapsed to the ground, howling in agony, Chu Yang turned to look at the doorway.
There, a beautiful woman had appeared at so unknown point.
She wore a purple robe, her long hair coiled elegantly atop her head. Her presence was unfathomably deep and powerful.
Chu Yang called out for the Lord of Samsara in his heart several tis, but got no response.
He imdiately realized he had encountered a true expert. The Lord of Samsara only stayed silent when they were facing soone too strong, afraid to expose himself.
"Why stop? Keep going! The real show’s just begun," the woman walked forward, glancing over Chu Yang with interest.
"Who are you?" Chu Yang asked cautiously.
"What, making trouble in Yin-Yang Sect’s territory and don’t even know who I am?" she smiled lightly. "I’ll make it simple. I’m the current Sect Master of the Yin-Yang Sect. You can call Sect Master Wu."
Chu Yang’s expression changed slightly at her words. Based on her power, she was at least at the Empyrean ridian Realm.
In the Western Region, there were three Imperial Lineages and four Supre Sects.
These seven ford the dominant power structure of the region.
The Yin-Yang Sect was one of the four top-tier sects.
"I only stood up for the people. If Sect Master Wu insists on killing , I have nothing to say," Chu Yang frowned, raising his sword calmly. "No matter how strong you are, I won’t sit and wait to die. If I must die, I’ll die with dignity."
"When did I say I was going to kill you?" Sect Master Wu looked at him and walked over to Yin Xuanying.
With a single palm strike, black and white lights wrapped around Yin Xuanying’s body. In the blink of an eye, before he could even scream, he was reduced to ashes.
"Let’s talk," Sect Master Wu said, intrigued.
"Talk about what?" Chu Yang asked.
"You’ve comprehended the Grand Dao of Yin-Yang, haven’t you?" Sect Master Wu smiled. "A lone rogue cultivator like you will find it very hard to go far. You need resources, and we, the Yin-Yang Sect, need a Holy Son."
