The growth of his God-Soul was not the result of any spell, it had truly beco stronger.

Previously, Xu Zimo had possessed a second battle body, the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique of the soul.

Now that his God-Soul had strengthened, that body had completely rged into him.

Nine, representing the limit.

Tower, representing the pinnacle of defense.

In terms of soul strength alone, Xu Zimo believed that below the Grand Emperor realm, whether Heavenly Gods or those at the Life-Death stage, none could rival his soul.

Within the Five Stages of the Grand Emperor, his soul could be called invincible.

He took a deep breath. After entering the God-Unity stage, Xu Zimo felt he now had a deeper understanding of the tenth ridian Gate.

When he had first stepped into the Grand Emperor realm, that gate had seed unreachable.

But as his cultivation advanced, more and more of his ridians and hidden acupoints had opened.

The power building within him grew stronger and stronger.

He knew that when the mont ca, that torrent of accumulated energy would completely break through the tenth ridian Gate,

And then he would step into the Saint Sovereign realm.

However, that was still a long way off.

His God-Soul gradually stabilized, while imnse power surged through his body.

Descending from the air, Xu Zimo was t by Paimon and the others.

“Congratulations, my lord.”

“We’re still far from done,” Xu Zimo said calmly, waving his hand.

He was in no rush, knowing the path ahead was long and full of hardship.

Cultivation could not be forced, it required comprehension.

“Let’s take a look at this so-called Demon-Shattering Heavenly God,” Xu Zimo said.

They walked to where the Heavenly God was held.

Because he was suppressed by the boundless power of the Grand Dao, Demon-Shattering Heavenly God could not resist at all.

Within the God World, Xu Zimo could freely draw upon the power of all Dao.

“Now we can get to know each other properly,” Xu Zimo said with a faint smile.

“You… you’re the Infernal Lord,” Demon-Shattering Heavenly God stamred, sweat streaming down his forehead.

He knew what the man before him represented. The one who had once started an epoch, who had started the Heavenly War, who had spread darkness across the continent.

Even now, after oceans turned to fields of grass, after eras changed and suns rose and fell, his reappearance rekindled that ancient terror.

He could not forget. None in the Heavenly Court could.

Those mories were burned into their very bones, marks of an age of blood and shadow.

“Whether I am or not, does it matter to you?” Xu Zimo replied.

“Either way, you’re still a prisoner.”

“If you truly are the Infernal Lord, then to die at your hands, I, Demon-Shattering Heavenly God, would have no regrets. It would live up to my na,” the Heavenly God said coldly.

“I don’t plan to kill you,” Xu Zimo said.

“I want you to tell about the Heavenly Court.”

“You’re wasting your breath,” Demon-Shattering Heavenly God replied. “I will never speak of the Heavenly Court.”

“What if I let you go?” Xu Zimo asked.

“In exchange for your life and freedom.”

“I do not make deals with demons,” Demon-Shattering Heavenly God said evenly, unmoved.

Xu Zimo stood up. He knew words were useless with such a man.

One who did not fear death, had no weaknesses to exploit, and bore unending hatred toward the demon race.

He turned to Paimon. “Is there any way to forcibly read his mories?”

“For others, yes. But not for those of the Heavenly Court,” Paimon shook his head.

“Every mber of the Heavenly Court is linked to a life lamp. If you try to read their mories by force, the lamp will instantly extinguish, and when the lamp dies, so does the person. The Heavenly Court isn’t as easy to deal with as it seems.”

“Then imprison him for now,” Xu Zimo said. “Try to get sothing out of him.”

Though the interrogation had yielded nothing, Xu Zimo was not disappointed, he hadn’t expected much.

After advancing to the God-Unity stage, he turned his gaze to the Grand-Pivot God-Sword in his hand.

To be precise, the sword was no longer of much use to him.

But as the third most powerful weapon in existence, it was still stronger than his own Shadow Tyrant.

Especially since it was a sword of faith, its strength grew with the power of belief it received.

Xu Zimo intended to fuse the Grand-Pivot God-Sword into his Shadow Tyrant.

To abandon Shadow Tyrant and wield Grand-Pivot God-Sword instead was impossible.

Shadow Tyrant had been with him through countless battles; it was no longer rely a weapon, but a companion.

He didn’t know how powerful Shadow Tyrant would beco after absorbing the Grand-Pivot God-Sword,

But it would surely be extraordinary.

He planned to perform the fusion within the God World.

If he tried it in the Nine Heavens, the resulting heavenly tribulation would be beyond his ability to endure.

The God World, however, was self-contained and cut off from the Nine Heavens.

The Nine Heavens’ Heavenly Dao held no authority there.

That would make everything much easier.

The only issue now was how to forge it.

Back when Shadow Tyrant and the True God Sword were crafted, the Stone Race had helped him forge and rge them.

But now, fusing the Grand-Pivot God-Sword would be far more difficult, hundreds, even thousands of tis harder.

Xu Zimo had never learned the art of weapon forging. Though at his current realm, ordinary smithing techniques posed no challenge, this task was no ordinary forging, it was like refining an Imperial Pill, perhaps even more complex.

Without a powerful forging thod to guide him, Xu Zimo dared not attempt it rashly.

If he failed, the loss of both weapons would be unbearable.

After so thought, he decided to find a master smith instead.

Across the Nine Heavens, there were countless great forging masters, so who had devoted tens of millions of years to the craft. Surely one of them could do it.

He would take it one step at a ti.

……………

“My lord,” Seven-Face and others approached.

Xu Zimo waved his hand, transferring the captive Demon-Shattering Heavenly God to the Myriad Beast Realm, to keep him out of the way.

“Now,” he said, “let’s talk about the Primordial Demon Cave.”

“Since the Primordial Demon Cave was exiled,” Seven-Face said, “the only way to reach it is to force open the barrier of space itself. But the spatial walls of the Nine Heavens are not sothing we can pierce. Even a Saint Sovereign would fail.”

Xu Zimo nodded slightly. He had once visited the Eternal Lands, a particle world, and even then, breaking its barrier to return had been difficult.

The Nine Heavens’ barrier, however, was far beyond that.

“Do you guys have any other ideas?” Xu Zimo asked.

Both Paimon and Seven-Face shook their heads.

“There surely must be a way,” Paimon said, “but we simply don’t know it. Our understanding of the Nine Heavens is limited.”

“I know soone who might,” Xu Zimo said. “It’s ti I paid him a visit.”
