Wu Kuang, who was still lying in the pool of his own blood, slowly stood up and walked over to the fallen man who had killed him earlier.

While he was walking over, his entire body healed all the wounds that were present internally and outwardly.

Still having an expressionless expression plastered on his face, he raised his hand and without uttering a single word began shooting multiple needles onto Gu Xia's body.

The needles began to transfer toxic Qi into his bloodstream.

With a petty mindset, Wu Kuang crouched down and took Gu Xia's desert eagle.

Why?

Well, he wanted a trophy for killing the bastard who sent him to the after life.

Seeing Gu Xia's skin beco extrely pale and his eyes beco completely lifeless, the dical protagonist showed an emotion on his face, a small smile ford as he took a step back and appreciated the sight of the lifeless corpse.

After a minute or so, Wu Kuang cracked his shoulders and sighed.

"Well, that was easy..."

He decided to wait another couple minutes to make sure Gu Xia wouldn't sohow co back to life like he did himself.

With that ti expiring, Wu Kuang decided he could finally head out, which he did.

He began walking back up the mountain, following a trail to where his master/father lived.

Right as Wu Kuang fully left the area, Gu Xia's body began to twitch and black ooze started to pour out from his body.

Gu Xia's eyes snapped open and he swiftly stood up.

A dark liquid began pouring out from his eyes, ears, nose, and wounds.

"How did that bastard co back to life?"

His voice was distorted and cold.

He didn't even sound human.

Once all his wounds were healed by the mysterious dark liquid, he slowly began walking toward the direction Wu Kuang headed down.

The dark liquid soon dried up and disappeared back into Gu Xia's body.

.

.

.

"Master, I'm back!"

Wu Kuang yelled out happily, making his presence clearly known.

After climbing the mountain for a good hour, he finally arrived at his destination.

Hearing no answer, the dical protagonist simply smiled and strolled over to the small wooden house in which he lived in for many years.

Before he entered the small ho, he felt a calm Qi that held no violence, bloodlust, darkness, or any of the sort.

Wu Kuang instantly noticed who this Qi belonged to...

"Master!"

He yelled out again, he turned his head to the left.

Just 10 feet away an old man who had long white hair and beard which matched his sharp eyes, and also was wearing a snow colored robe around his aging body was currently ditating on the edge of the mountain.

Wu Kuang quickly covered his mouth with both of his hands, realizing that he could have disturbed his master's practice caused a sense of sha to fill his heart, but it was quickly washed away when he heard his master's voice.

"Why are you calling master? Aren't I your father?"

The old man smiled kindly as he gently opened his eyes and stopped diating and stood up.

Wiping the dirt and other mother natures creations on his cloth, he looked over at his son and walked over with open arms.

Wu Kuang accepted the embrace and hugged his adopted father.

"Sorry, I'm still not used to it..."

He let out a small laugh.

"So, tell my boy, how is life going for you?"

The old man patted Wu Kuang's shoulders and took a step back as he looked at him with pride.

Wu Kuang bit his lip as he began scratching his head awkwardly.

He couldn't out right say, "oh, I'm doing pretty good... Just the whole country is after ... Because I wanted to get a woman..."

So, what could he do?

Well, simple... Lie...

And that's what he did.

"It's been amazing, I've made many connections and I have acquired so many backers."

Wu Kuang told his adopted father.

The old man let out a jolly laugh before patting his adopted son on the shoulders again.

"Good, good! Now, tell how many dical achievents have you achieved in the matter of a couple days!"

Not wanting to let down his adopted father who had trained him and took him in, Wu Kuang began lying out of his ass.

"I've cured cancer and so other regular dical issues, nothing much to brag about..."

He showed a forced smile, patting his adopted father's shoulder he unconsciously took a step backward.

Without noticing such a small action, the old man turned around and walked toward the mountain.

He stood there silently before taking a deep breath.

Wu Kuang followed suit and stood next to the old man.

"Wu Kuang, soon enough your na will be heard all throughout China... For the amazing achievents you've accomplished I have no doubt even the Yanks would want to have a piece of you." (A/T: I'm Arican FYI...)

Wu Kuang lowered his gaze toward the ground in sha.

Yes, he was known throughout China... But all for the wrong reasons!

Not being able to lie any longer, Wu Kuang was about to expose himself until out of nowhere multiple daggers made out of pure Qi appeared out of thin air.

"Watch out!"

Wu Kuang warned his adopted father.

The old man who felt the threatening presence quickly placed his hand in front of his body where his own clean pure Qi turned into a small shield.

The dark daggers made of Qi pierced the shield but not far enough to fully go through.

The old man began to sweat as he realized such a fact...

"Insane... I used 10 percent of my strength and re daggers almost penetrated my shield..."

He muttered to himself in disbelief.

Wu Kuang glanced around everywhere with rage seen in his eyes.

He was beyond enraged that soone dared attack his adopted father.

"Co out now! Whoever threw those daggers! Get your ass out here!"

He scread, his voice contained fury as he wanted to absolutely kill the fucker who tried to harm the old man.

"Calm down."

The old man placed his free hand on Wu Kuang's shoulder.

Wu Kuang grinded his white teeth and sighed before nodding his head.

He slightly relaxed his body, he was still vigilant though as he never took his eyes off from surveying the area.

The sa was for the old man who never stopped feeling on edge.

In the woods across from Wu Kuang and the old man, Gu Xia was smoking a cigar.

"Well, looks like I'll have to fight both of them..."

With a shrug, he stepped forward to confront the two n, but suddenly he felt a small hand placed on his shoulder.

With a small smile and without turning around, Gu Xia helplessly sighed.

"Jeez, Ai Yao, if you wanted to join you should have said so..."
