Chapter 152 - Unexpected Betrayal

When Mitsutoshi saw that Nagasawa was rampaging on the battlefield and killing dozens of A Shinobi with one move, he knew that he could not let Nagasawa do as he pleased.

Although most of Agakure's strength was gathered here, he could not afford to waste too much ti. If Nagasawa punched a few more tis, he might run out of A Shinobi to command.

Agakure actually had more Shinobi, but so of them were dissatisfied with Hanzo's policy and joined Akatsuki. So of their Shinobi also died trying in the fight with Akatsuki.

Agakure suffered more than enough damage in the Second Shinobi World War as it was, so it was very difficult for him to gather more than a thousand Shinobi to kill Nagasawa.

He brought back a thousand Shinobi not to deal with Nagasawa, but in case Akatsuki and Nagato showed up.

Right when Mitsutoshi planned to fight Nagasawa personally...

Bsskk!

A short blade pierced through his body.

Mitsutoshi looked behind him with a look of disbelief. It was his trusted subordinate, the genius Jonin of Agakure, Yuto Sagi.

"Why... you..." Until now, Mitsutoshi still could not believe what he saw.

It was Yuto Sagi who dared to argue against Hanzo for the sake of Agakure.

How could such a Yuto Sagi betray Agakure? He could not believe it. He would rather believe that this Yuto Sagi in front of him was fake.

"Mitsutoshi-sama, for the sake of a better Agakure, please die alongside Hanzo-sama." Yuto Sagi said solemnly.

Although the past Hanzo had so shortcomings, he was still a man worthy of Yuto Sagi's respect, but he believed the current Hanzo was like a cancer to Agakure.

A village leader who was too afraid of a group of Shinobi that he did not co to his office was actually unheard of.

Since Hanzo made Agakure a closed-off country, refusing to interact with other countries, Agakure beca more isolated.

That was why when Obito ca to his doorstep and told him about how Agakure would be when Akatsuki replaced Hanzo, Yuto Sagi decisively chose Akatsuki.

He also knew about Akatsuki's philosophy. He had heard of them before Hanzo planned to bring them down.

Yuto Sagi felt that Akatsuki would be better than Hanzo, and no matter how bad it was, it definitely couldn't get worse than now!

After saying that, Yuto Sagi pulled out the short blade and thrust it into Mitsutoshi's body again.

However, Mitsutoshi wasn't Hanzo's assistant for nothing. He himself was a capable Shinobi. Mitsutoshi grabbed Yuto Sagi's arm, which was holding the short blade with one hand and threw Yuto Sagi off the high platform.

He was glad that Yuto Sagi did not stab his heart, so he could still counterattack.

Yuto Sagi, who was thrown down, did not return to the high platform. Instead, he raised his arms and shouted. Suddenly, a portion of the A Shinobi on the battlefield began to turn againt their own companions.

This sudden change caught everyone off guard. In an instant, many A Shinobi died. The casualties were no less than the punch from Nagasawa just now.

Kusagakure Shinobi was once again stunned. They did not expect that the A Shinobi would fight amongst themselves at this mont.

"Hurry up and report this to Lord Hanzo!" Mitsutoshi took out a bandage and bandaged his wound before ordering his subordinates beside him.

Although Hanzo might have heard of what happened here, as Danzo's subordinate, he had to inform Hanzo.

After saying that, Mitsutoshi took a deep breath and rushed towards Nagasawa with a few A Shinobi. He had to stop Nagasawa. If he couldn't, none of his n would be able to deal with Nagasawa. Then again, even if he won, the victory would be aningless.

Nagasawa felt a strong presence rushing towards him with his Color of Observation Haki. Nagasawa looked over and noticed that it was the person who had been stabbed on the high platform.

"Whitebeard, I won't let you do as you please anymore," Mitsutoshi said with a determined expression.

Looking at the power of Nagasawa's attack, he knew that he was no match against Nagasawa.

However, he was the strongest among the A Shinobi there. He had the responsibility to stop Nagasawa, even if it killed him.

"Gu ra ra ra ra."

When Nagasawa heard Mitsutoshi's words, he laughed.

He was courageous indeed, but he chose the wrong target.

Nagasawa tightly gripped Murakumogiri with his right hand as his Chakra surged, ready to erupt at any ti.

He had held Murakumogiri for so long, but he had never used Murakumogiri's true strength.

What was the strongest point of a Chakra tal? It could extend once it was injected with Chakra!

Even Asuma's ten-centiter-long Chakra tal could turn into a one-ter-long light sword once it was injected with Chakra. What would happen if Nagasawa injected all of his Chakra into the 2.6-ter-long Murakumogiri?

Nagasawa continuously pumped Chakra into Murakumogiri, and he had already done Wind Nature Transformation before he injected it.

Nagasawa suddenly pumped a massive amount of Chakra in one go, then used Total Concentration Breathing and fiercely swung Murakumogiri toward Mitsutoshi.

Swish!

Murakumogiri suddenly extended by ten ters, turning into a light sword emitting blueish Chakra.

The fourteen-ter-long Naginata was waved, and the wind caused by the impact blew away so things on the ground just like a gale.

Anyone that Murakumogiri touched were instantly split into two, and they could not even resist for an instant.

The A Shinobi who wanted to get close to Nagasawa together with Mitsutoshi, were instantly wiped out in one swing, and dozens of cleanly cut A Shinobi's corpses piled around Nagasawa.

Although the blade was very long, it was quite light because the light blade was created by Wind Nature Transformation. In addition, Nagasawa was strong to begin with, and he also used Total Concentration Breathing, so the speed of this blade was very fast.

It was so fast that Mitsutoshi only briefly saw a blue light flash before he lost consciousness.

As expected, Mitsutoshi's head was separated from his body, and red blood gushed out like a fountain.

He knew that he would die, but he did not expect to be killed in one move.

If he was not injured, could he last for a while longer?

Unfortunately, Mitsutoshi never got his answer because there were no ifs in this world.

"Huuuu."

Nagasawa exhaled a mouthful of white mist. That slash just now could be considered a serious slash. Even a newly awakened Susanoo might be split apart by that slash just now.

Nagasawa looked around. Obito did not show up, but an orange-haired youth with piercings on his nose, face, lips, and ears appeared.
