Upon hearing about the haunting murder case in Sanhe Village, Li Xiang imdiately understood the purpose of Captain Li’s visit this ti.

In the past few days, as long as you’re in Canglin, you would more or less hear about this case.

A farmwoman in Sanhe Village was brutally murdered and died horrifically at ho. However, the day after her burial, the Professional Funeral Guardian who watched over her mysteriously died as well, causing a series of bizarre events that have left the village residents in terror.

It’s not that the official dia intentionally promoted it. After all, in today’s transparent environnt, such matters wouldn’t be reported.

However, the frenzied coverage by ordinary people and self-dia made the case known to everyone.

This place is located on the border, and the local people can be quite superstitious, which is why the case has blown up to such a degree.

"Yes, I’ve heard of it, but I’m not very familiar with it."

"Ah, Team Leader Li might not know; the local residents are originally quite superstitious, and with so people fanning the flas, the case has beco increasingly eerie. To stop these rumors, we can only investigate this case thoroughly and then reveal it publicly. That way, we can crush the rumors. However, our police force in Canglin is quite weak, and our operational capacity is limited; we haven’t figured it out yet. I’d like to ask Captain Li for so guidance."

"It’s not so much about guidance; I’m also sowhat interested in this case. Let’s study and progress together."

Having drunk their tea and conducted cases on their territory for so ti, and given how supportive Captain Li has been of their work from top to bottom, it was only reasonable for him to offer his assistance.

He agreed to help.

"That’s really appreciated. Let take you to get acquainted with this case."

Seeing Li Xiang agree, Captain Li wasted no ti and imdiately led him to the task force office responsible for the case.

"Everyone, please put down your work for a mont. I’d like to introduce soone to you. During this period, I believe you’ve all t Team Leader Li, who was sent by the provincial departnt to investigate the case. I’ve brought him over this ti to guide our work. Please welco him with applause."

Instantly, the office was filled with applause.

The task force consisted of more than a dozen people, not a small number, indicating how seriously Captain Li was taking this case.

"Hello everyone, my na is Li Xiang. I’m not here with the intent to guide, but rather to exchange case-handling experiences and collaborate between the two locations."

Li Xiang’s modest attitude imdiately won him a warm welco and friendliness from everyone.

"This is Ding Youqiang, our team leader of the Criminal Investigation Brigade, and also the head of this case."

At that mont, Ding Youqiang stepped forward, and Captain Li quickly introduced him to Li Xiang.

"Welco, Team Leader Li, for coming to guide us. We must learn a lot from you."

"Youqiang, please introduce the case to Team Leader Li."

"Yes, Team Leader Li, please follow . In Sanhe Village, a farmwoman was brutally murdered and died horrifically at ho. However, the day after her burial, the Professional Funeral Guardian who watched over her mysteriously died as well, causing a series of bizarre events that have left the village residents in terror."

Ding Youqiang took Li Xiang to the small blackboard used for case analysis and began to introduce the whole story of the case:

"At 10 AM on August 9th, we received a report of a homicide in Sanhe Village, so we imdiately sent people to investigate.

The deceased was nad Qin Qinglian, aged 35, found dead at ho. Her husband worked away from ho all year round and they had a 14-year-old daughter who boarded at a teacher’s house in the county town. The deceased stayed at ho alone most of the ti, running a small convenience store.

After the incident, a custor who ca to the store to buy cigarettes noticed sothing unusual and called the police.

Through an on-site survey, we determined it was a murder case. The deceased was stabbed with a sharp object, and the preliminary autopsy concluded that she died from hemorrhagic shock.

The cash register in the convenience store was emptied; since it was a rural area, no surveillance caras were installed, and there was no surveillance to investigate on-site. However, combining the findings from the scene inspection, we deduced that it was a robbery and murder.

The convenience store had daily traffic of many people, resulting in nurous fingerprints and footprints, making it impossible to sort out. The clues at the scene were quite chaotic; we collected a total of 134 leads and identified 3 suspicious clues after careful examination. But due to a lack of key evidence, we have made no progress so far.

The autopsy revealed no signs of sexual assault. The fatal injuries were due to stab wounds leading to hemorrhagic shock.

The deceased’s husband took her back for burial, but bizarrely, the next day, Qiao Laohan, the Funeral Guardian for her, was found dead in Qin Qinglian’s mourning hall.

We have a custom here that when a person dies, they must be watched over for three days, and Qiao Laohan was the local Professional Funeral Guardian.

After the police were dispatched, we found Qiao Laohan’s body in the mourning hall. He had died in a strange posture, lying sideways on the straw mat, with both legs curled up to his chest and his head buried into his chest, as if he were in fear, hiding from sothing.

An autopsy showed no injuries on Qiao Laohan’s body, nor was there any sign of a struggle at the scene. The cause of death remains difficult to determine.

This strange situation instantly caused an uproar in the village, with villagers discussing it fervently.

In our area, so villagers are rather superstitious. Qin Qinglian’s death by murder classifies as an unnatural death, and it is believed that such people hold a lot of grudges, which is why the one watching over her was taken away as well.

Of course, we have to emphasize science, so we proceeded with an on-site investigation.
