Sun Zhidong’s partner was Hu Zhao. They had previously been surveying on the hill. After discovering their target heading down the mountain, they both drove after them.
Upon receiving Li Xiang’s orders, Sun asked Hu Zhao nervously, "Brother Hu, Li Xiang wants us to crash their car and stall them for a bit. Do you think we’ll get beaten up by them?"
"Hard to say, these guys look like they’re not to be ssed with."
"Then what do we do? My handso face might not co out unscathed. Li Xiang is doing this on purpose. If I get disfigured, he’ll beco the most handso cop in the special task force."
"..." Hu Zhao was a little speechless, realizing Sun was worried about whether he was the most handso guy in the team.
"But getting beaten up isn’t so bad, the last ti I went on a mission in Jinling City with him, I also got a beating. Not only did the departnt cover all my hospital bills, but they also turned my police internship into a full position and gave a second-class rit award. It’s a tough decision!"
Sun Zhidong was conflicted about whether to be the most handso detective or to get beaten up.
"You stay in the car later, I’ll get out. I don’t care about gaining any accolades; I just feel the urge to have my bones rattled a bit."
Hu Zhao, hearing Sun Zhidong’s humblebrag, was also sowhat envious.
Having been in the Third Squad for five years and earning only a third-class rit, Hu was surprised at this inconspicuous young trainee who seed to have an impressive background, having transitioned to full officer and earned a second-class rit, apparently from being injured by criminals.
Hu started reflecting on whether he had been too aggressive in arresting suspects, not giving them enough room to fight back, which might have made it look easy and thus earned no rits.
"Damn, are you a masochist or sothing?"
Hearing Hu Zhao’s words, Sun Zhidong widened his eyes, looking at Hu Zhao incredulously: Was there anyone more shaless than him?
"Drive properly. How are you speaking to your senior? The target’s location is right ahead, accelerate and crash into them!"
Seeing the familiar junction Li Xiang ntioned, Sun Zhidong promptly floored the gas pedal, speeding up the chase.

The white SUV jerked, and as the driver hit the brakes, everyone inside lurched forward due to inertia, hitting their heads.
Especially Aunt Hua, whose thick makeup was imprinted directly onto the back of the front seat.
Seeing the big pancake-like face print on the headrest, Aunt Hua was furious, "Da Zhuang, how are you driving?"

Sister Xia went to the back of the car, seeing Da Zhuang still arguing with the two who caused the rear-end, then she approached, "We’re in a hurry. Let’s settle this privately. Here’s 500 RMB, let’s just end it."
"My car is fully insured, why settle privately? I’ll just call, and the insurance company will be here soon."
Hu Zhao continued to delay, glancing at his phone. The SWAT team would arrive in five minutes.

Da Zhuang laughed out of anger. He’d been rear-ended and yet accused of a scam, his temper flared. He grabbed Hu Zhao’s collar, "A scam? You guys are the scamrs. Pay up, quickly."
Da Zhuang was significantly larger than Hu Zhao, gripping his collar like a chicken.
Seeing the perfect timing, Hu Zhao punched Da Zhuang in the face, "You’re gonna hit? So what, bring it on!"
Seeing Hu Zhao take the first shot, Sun Zhidong couldn’t hold back either, giving Da Zhuang a hard kick.
"Damn, you got guts. Da Niu, call the guys down here, let’s teach these two blind punks a lesson."
Soon four more sturdy n got out from the other cars, charging towards Hu Zhao and Sun Zhidong.
Handling one Da Zhuang was already tough. Seeing these four additional hulking n, Sun thought to himself: I’m done for.
Seeing things go south, Hu Zhao quickly pleaded, "Big brother, it’s a misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding."
Da Zhuang’s morale soared as he saw his brothers getting out, "You hit first, misunderstanding my ass! Beat them up, guys!"
"Hold on a minute."
Just as Hu Zhao and Sun Zhidong thought they were dood and hoped the SWAT team would hurry up, Sister Xia halted everyone.
"Sister Xia, what’s up?"
"Don’t waste ti with them. We’ve got business to attend to."
"But, our car..." Da Zhuang began to explain, since their car was rear-ended, the other party was at fault, they had to pay.
"No buts, everyone back in the car."
Sister Xia glanced at Sun Zhidong’s license plate, sensing sothing off. The plate was from Jinghai; practicing driving all the way to Yunnan Province?
Seeing they weren’t falling for it, Sun Zhidong started to worry as Li Xiang’s task was to stall them. If he failed and the operation went south, wouldn’t he be letting the team down?
