Still, before going to the world of vampires, he needed to deal with what was happening inside his world. He still had that bounty over his head, and it was only a matter of ti before soone would co for him.
He was lucky that he didn’t go out often; he was either inside his store or going to another world.
But having a constant threat over his head was not sothing that Lucius liked, to say the least. He wanted it gone as soon as possible. He knew that a lot of dangerous people would be heading for him. At least... that’s what he believed.
Lucius, however, had a plan to resolve this whole thing once and for all.
He grabbed his phone and texted Emy, Axel’s daughter, with a smile on his face.
[Lucius: Hey, can we et up? I wanted to talk to you about sothing.]
Within seconds, before Lucius even let go of his phone, it vibrated and soone replied.
[Emy: YES~! I’ve been waiting for your text! It’s been so long; where did you go?!]
[Lucius: It’s complicated. I’ll explain it to you once we et.]
[Emy: Sure! Where do you want to et up?]
Lucius smirked on the other side of his phone.
[Lucius: How about the Smith Tower? I’ll co to you.]
Lucius closed his phone as he felt it vibrate inside his pocket. He already knew that he wouldn’t be welcod there, but he thought that to fix this problem, he had to attack the source of it.
Axel would have no choice but to humiliate him to the point where he would cancel all of the bounties placed on his head.
Today was the day when Lucius would take down one of the richest people on Earth.
He got out of the store. All the girls were sleeping upstairs, and Lucius had decided to go alone this ti around. He didn’t want them to co with him today. After all, he didn’t need their protection. He wanted to do this by himself.
He left the store and walked into the alley, which was strangely... very silent, much more than usual.
"Co out," Lucius said in a low voice, not even bothering to look around.
Seconds later, an assassin jumped down from the top of a building, landing right behind him without making any noise.
He didn’t have a gun or anything like that. Instead, he had a long sword at his waist. He was cosplaying a samurai or sothing like that. It was honestly quite funny and different from what Lucius had faced so far.
"How did you know?" the assassin asked behind him, his hand on his sword, ready to pull it out at any mont.
"I didn’t. I just thought that soone would be waiting for the mont I got out."
The assassin clicked his tongue. However, he was also happy that his camouflage technique had worked perfectly. He had only been too naive and revealed himself way too fast.
But just as the assassin was about to assu a fighting position, Lucius was right in front of his face, moving at speeds that he didn’t think were even possible for him to achieve. Lucius grabbed the hilt of his sword and looked into his eyes with a smirk, stopping him in his tracks without a mont’s notice.
"H-How..."
Lucius only smiled at his reaction, thinking that it was kind of cute in a way.
The assassin wasn’t even able to see Lucius’s movents.
"I’ll give you one chance. You can leave right away and never co back, or I will kill you right now."
Lucius was tired of having killers sent his way. It was ti for him to be the one on the offensive, not the other way around.
The assassin’s eyes widened as he knew that Lucius ant those words and that he was extrely serious. He also judged his strength to be much higher than his own. Without another word, he completely disappeared from where he stood, as if he had never been there to begin with.
Lucius smirked, noticing that reaction, and continued on his way as he called a cab.
"To the Smith Tower," he asked as he finally got one.
His phone kept vibrating in his pocket, and Lucius finally decided to take a peek at it, wondering what kind of ssages Emy was sending him.
[Emy: The Smith Tower?! No, no, no. You can’t co here... my father hates you! H-He’ll kill you!]
[Emy: Hello?]
[Emy: Please... don’t co! Let’s go to a cafe nearby!]
[Emy: R-Reply, please.]
[Emy: Don’t co! My father is crazy!]
She kept texting the sa thing over and over again.
Lucius just smiled at those ssages, as there was sothing that Emy ignored. Her father might be crazy, but he was even crazier than her.
Within a few minutes, they arrived at the bottom of the Smith Tower. Lucius paid the driver, and as soon as he got out, Emy was standing in front of the building, nervous.
She imdiately walked up to Lucius as she saw him get out of the cab. "Let’s go. Don’t let the guards see you..."
However, as she tried to pull Lucius away, he didn’t move a single inch, staying right where he was.
Getting away from here was the last part of his plan.
"No, I think I’ll go in."
Emy’s eyes widened. She was starting to panic as she knew how crazy her father could get. There was no doubt that he had already killed people, and she didn’t doubt that he would try it with Lucius. She just hoped that Lucius wasn’t stupid enough to face him... but it seed like she was wrong.
"D-Don’t..."
Emy tried to drag Lucius back, but she was the one who moved forward instead. So she ended up giving up.
’I’ll have to place myself between the two of them. Otherwise, sothing might actually happen.’
Walking up to the front door, the guards frowned as they saw Emy, the boss’s daughter, accompanied by a man.
"Emy, who is this man?"
Emy blushed at the question as she lowered her gaze and answered, "M-My boyfriend..."
Lucius smirked, as she was the one who had said it. She really had fallen in love with him, just like he had planned.
He could only imagine how hard it had hurt Axel that his daughter had fallen in love with him.
He must be on the verge of going crazy.
The guards exchanged glances, and one of them left to go inside before coming back outside with a frown on his face.
"Mhm... I’m sorry, Miss. But it seems that your boyfriend is not welco inside the building."
Lucius had already anticipated sothing like this happening, and there was a very simple way to fix it... cause a scene.
"What the fuck do you an?!" Lucius started shouting. "I’m her boyfriend! Of course, I can go inside! Do you even know who I am?!"
Emy looked down as Lucius began shouting.
"Hmpf, even if you don’t want in there, I’ll just have to make my way in."
Lucius looked the guards in the eyes as he began walking toward the main door, before being stopped in his tracks as one of the guards got in his way.
Emy prayed that it would be enough to keep Lucius away from her father. But it seed that she had underestimated him...
As the guard stepped in front of Lucius, nothing changed. Lucius continued to walk forward, pushing the guard to the side as if he were a little kid who weighed basically nothing.
Even the guard was surprised by how easily he was moved. After all, he weighed over 200 kg and was mainly muscle. There was no way that soone as small as Lucius should be able to overpower him.
They weren’t remotely close in terms of weight.
"Hey, did you hear what I said? You can’t get in."
The guard placed his hand on Lucius’s shoulder. But Lucius didn’t care; he continued to walk forward, not even slowing down at all. Instead, it was the guard who started getting pulled forward, just like Emy had been.
The guard didn’t know that Lucius had the strength of two Goddesses and an Elven Princess. There was no way soone like him would be able to stop Lucius.
After a few seconds of struggle, the guard gave up and called for backup.
But by now, it was already too late, as Lucius had already entered the building, and with a smile on his face, he said, "Soone call Axel down! I want to have a talk with him!"
Lucius was tired of hiding.
It was ti to show that dumbass just who was the strongest between the two of them.
Lucius sat on the couch with Emy as dozens of guards circled around them. However, Lucius didn’t even pay attention to any of them as he started to enjoy Emy’s closeness, wrapping his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to him.
