This was his goal, or at least that's what the screen on the watch asked him to do.
Already one day had passed since he had spoken to the Moonless Family and given this weird mission in exchange for 30 million rher coins, and also a chance to prove himself to join the 'Rift Conqueror Academy'.
Obviously, he didn't spend yesterday doing nothing, instead he went out to buy enough ingredients to craft 20 potions of Strength/Speed, and 30 potions of regeneration.
And this ant…
[Alchemy Inventory: x20 Potion of Strength, x20 Potion of Speed, x40 Potion of Regeneration]
He was currently waiting inside of the train station, the train heading toward Olympia arriving very soon.
Apparently they had given him the 'VIP' express train, which travelled at around 400km per hour, aning that he would arrive at Olympia in less than five hours.
'They really want to complete that mission… or die…' he added that sentence for a reason: there was no way 7 people they had hired beforehand failed, yet they believed that so random kid with a good talent could win.
All his items and equipnts were inside of his [Spatial Inventory], but he was currently using:
-The Crystalheart Band
-The Soulbearer's Embrace
-The Purgatory Shadow Ring
-Mirror Master's Crystal Shard, he had never used this one before as he had forgotten about it (and also because the required level is 20), but basically…
[Special Perk:] You can use this crystal to cast a giant glass shard that deals incredible damage to one enemy, there is a cooldown of ten minutes between each use, and it is recomnded to infuse the shard into a ring for better use.
And finally… Judicator's Black Wings, as they gave him a boost in speed with the [Dash] perk.
He had equipped everything he had (that he didn't sell) except for the Warrior's Cloak as it was just annoying to wear.
~ATTENTION PASSENGERS, THE VIP EXPRESS IS ARRIVING, IN DIRECTION OF OLYMPIA!~
There weren't many people in the station, possibly since this was a line only for the rich and powerful people of Fellarburg, but he didn't mind.
~FWISH~
As the train arrived and stopped, he stepped aboard and found his own private cabin, complete with a comfortable chair and a small table.
He had noticed that so people were giving him weird looks, maybe they didn't expect a 'commoner' that dresses in 'commoner' clothes to be here?
In the end, it didn't matter as Stark sat down on the chair and placed the watch Arthur gave him on the table.
~ATTENTION, PASSENGERS, THE TRAIN IS ABOUT TO START, PLEASE ENJOY YOUR RIDE!~
Stark glanced out of the window as the train started moving, watching the scenery blur past him.
'It indeed is really fast…' only a minute had passed, yet the train had already reached its peak speed of 400KM per hour, he couldn't even enjoy anything after that since it was just too fast.
But at the sa ti…
~BEEP~
The watch on the table suddenly activated by itself, and a single screen appeared in front of Stark.
[You have successfully entered the train to Olympia!]
[Ti left before arrival: 3 hours 52 minutes]
[Please get off the train when the watch tells you to, the directions of the rift will be given shortly afterward.]
'…' Stark sighed, at least he wasn't left in the dark, Arthur really seed to have had everything planned for him to reach his destination safely.
As the scenery whizzed by outside the window, Stark couldn't shake off the unease that gnawed at him.
'If seven people supposedly stronger than I am went through that rift and didn't co back… it ans there is a trap sowhere…'
First of all, what were those 'Arrows Of Sierra'? And why did the Moonless (a family of archer) want them so badly?
Of course, it was always good to have different types of arrows as an archer, and even better to have unique ones with special perks.
But… what could they be…
The train ride seed endless as Stark's mind raced with thoughts and questions about the mission ahead.
[Ti left before arrival: 2 hours 18 minutes]
The ti passed smoothly, and Stark had nothing better to do than use his phone (wifi was included) or just check out his weapons and equipnt.
[Ti left before arrival: 54 minutes]
He could hear the joyful talks and laughs of the people inside their cabins, or just on the train's public seats.
'Lucky them…'
And after a while…
He arrived at his destination.
[You have arrived, leave the train…]
'…' the closer he got to the rift, the bigger that feeling inside his stomach beca, yet Stark, with a blank expression, still got up from his sit.
But that's when he realized… that the train was still going, and that there was still well over an hour of travel before arriving at the terminus station.
'…' Stark's eyes widened as he realized what this ant, and his pupils slowly shifted back toward the watch as the screen changed.
[Jump off the train, you have arrived.]
'Sigh… this better be worth it,' he got out of his cabin, then headed toward the ergency exit, which was a door that you were only supposed to open if the train stops and there is an issue.
"Hello sir, what are you doing-" an attendant smiled as she saw Stark, but that smile imdiately vanished as Stark used his aura to forcefully kick the door, opening it abruptly.
"SIR, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING?" there was no danger for the passengers on board to open this door, the only real problem now was that he would need to jump from a speeding train that was going at 400KM per hour.
Other passengers from rich and powerful families heard the commotion and ca to see what was happening.
But Stark, not wanting to show his face more than he already had… suddenly jumped.
"SIR?????!!!"
"WHAT THE FUCK?" he heard them shout from behind, but the mont he jumped out, the train was already going so fast that he couldn't hear or see them anymore.
~FWIP, THUD~
"-1837!" he rolled on the ground as he took damage, but thankfully enough he was still relatively okay.
[Good job on jumping! Now please follow the arrow!]
And suddenly, another panel appeared in front of Stark, it was a 3D red arrow that was ant to show him where he was supposed to go.
[Distance to Rift: 3.5KM]
He wiped the dust from his pants and shirt, then began walking toward the direction the arrow was pointing.
'Let's get this over with…'
