Though Frigid's stats might initially make him seem like a weaker character, his passive skills were incredibly powerful, making him a formidable tank in battle.
His passive skill, [Frost Armor], not only reduced incoming physical damage by 20%, but also had a 10% chance to slow any lee attackers by 30% for 5 seconds.
This slow effect could drastically change the flow of a fight, allowing his team to reposition or counterattack with ease. A single strike could leave opponents sluggish and vulnerable, tipping the scales in a battle.
Even more impressive was his [Glacial Endurance], a passive ability that ensured his HP wouldn't drop below 50% without a fight.
With a massive HP pool of 50,000, this ant that the mont his health dipped below half, he would regenerate 500 HP per second until he recovered 50% of his HP. Combined with his naturally high Constitution (CONS) of over 500, this made him nearly indestructible.
Any attacker would need a Strength (STR) of at least 500 or higher to even start chipping away at his health, and that was assuming they could break through his defenses in the first place.
But it didn't stop there—Frigid's regenerative powers were even more daunting. To truly hurt him, an enemy would have to deal over 1,000 damage per second, just to counter his 500 HP regeneration. This required devastating attacks, and even those might not be enough due to his other passives.
His [Frozen Resilience] activated when his HP dropped below 30%, granting him a 20% boost to his already colossal Constitution for 10 seconds.
On top of that, any enemy who dared attack him during this critical mont would have their movent slowed by 10%, giving Frigid and his team the upper hand.
As for his active abilities, [Icy Shield] was another ga-changer. Although it consud a significant amount of mana, he could activate it twice in a single fight, absorbing up to 10,000 damage per use.
This allowed Frigid to block huge incoming hits, protecting not only himself but also his team from lethal attacks. Combined with his passive abilities, it was almost like fighting an impenetrable fortress of ice.
Frigid's skills weren't just for show—they turned him into a walking wall of ice, nearly invincible if not handled properly.
For any group lucky enough to have him on their side, he wasn't just a Guardian; he was a one-man army.
"Why wouldn't the guilds take him?" Von asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.
"Probably because most guilds already have Main Tanks they've trained with and are compatible with," Horizon explained. "While Frigid's like a literal mountain, he's also just that—an immovable one. His HP and Constitution are incredible, but the rest of his stats? Pretty low. And more importantly, he doesn't have any aggro control skills."
"Aggro skills?" Von tilted his head.
"Yeah, for a tank, that's crucial," Horizon continued. "It's not just about absorbing damage. A Main Tank's real job is to draw enemy attention and make sure they stay focused on them. Without aggro control, enemies can just ignore Frigid and go straight for the backline—our damage dealers and healers. He can tank all day, but if he can't protect the team, his defense ans nothing."
Von nodded, the pieces falling into place. "That makes sense. You really know your stuff." He grinned and clapped Horizon on the shoulder. "You're pretty smart with this tank business."
Horizon chuckled. "We've learned it back in the ARK."
Lydia paused, her thoughts swirling. ARK? She glanced at Horizon, confusion flickering in her eyes.
But wasn't he a half-breed like ? How could he originally be from ARK? Shouldn't he be half-Eternian, at least? Or . . .
could he be pure human after all?
Shaking her head, Lydia pushed the thoughts aside. There were more pressing matters to deal with right now. Whatever secrets Horizon held, they could wait.
She focused on the task at hand, determined to stay sharp and not get distracted by mysteries she wasn't ready to solve.
"Who's going to take a giant like that?" Lydia continued, clearly frustrated. "Even guilds would hesitate. They want well-rounded players, not walking walls of at that can't even dodge a snowflake."
"Can he join our 500-stat range mber?" Horizon asked instead, catching Lydia off guard.
Lydia blinked, dumbfounded. Did he not hear a word she just said?!
"As long as his stats reach 500, that qualifies, right?" Von added, clearly on the sa page as Horizon.
The two exchanged confident nods, then extended their hands toward the Frost Giant.

Lydia's jaw dropped in disbelief. Idiots! They were complete idiots! "We're going to lose. We are definitely going to lose."
Nyx snickered while Cappy flapped his wings excitedly. "Welco! Welco!"
Silphie glanced over at Frigid, eyes half asleep. To her, he looked like a massive ice cream cone, and she had to swallow her urge to take a bite.
Horizon, Von, and Frigid exchanged excited grins. While Frigid's stats were far from balanced, he had so surprisingly useful skills. Despite the initial doubts, the group's energy buzzed with happiness to finally found their last mber.
"We're complete now!" Von announced, a gleam in his eyes. "We've got a solid tank, two damage dealers, a healer, and . . ."
All eyes turned to Lydia.
". . . And soone in the back who fires arrows," Nyx snickered.
"Hoi! Why are you acting like I'm useless?!" Lydia snapped, puffing out her cheeks in indignation.
With their roster finally filled, the team settled on the na Nyx team, after a short debate (and so not-so-subtle nudging from Nyx himself).
With their team na locked in, they proudly received their [Eternian Competition Badge] and officially registered for the tournant.
10 days from now, victory—or chaos—awaited.
The representative handed them a map, pointing out where their temporary housing would be. Horizon's brow furrowed as he studied it. "It's . . . far from the main city center."
"Maybe that's where they're housing most of the players?" Lydia shrugged, her shoulders heavy with exhaustion. "Let's just go. I'm tired from all the traveling with all these bags. I just want to settle in."
But when they arrived at their destination in the lower districts of the city, their fatigue gave way to shock.
