"Just what on earth is that giant?" Everyone thought.

In reality, Frigid's health had plumted to a critical 20%, but thanks to his passive skills and Horizon's expertly crafted equipnt, his defenses had spiked to near-impenetrable levels, allowing him to withstand the brunt of the enemy's relentless assault.

Every blow that landed only seed to reinforce his icy armor, each crack imdiately freezing over as if daring their opponents to try harder.

Silphie worked swiftly, her hands glowing with erald light as she poured healing energy into Frigid. The synergy between her spells and his passive regeneration kept him standing against odds that would have broken most players.

Though his health teetered on the brink, his unyielding presence remained—a shield that refused to shatter, a fortress that the Kingdom of Stars couldn't breach.

The enemy might have been strong, but they hadn't accounted for Horizon's ticulous preparation. Frigid wasn't just surviving; he was enduring like a glacier in a storm, waiting for the mont the tide would turn in their favor.

Von let out a low whistle. "Well, would you look at that? Frigid's still standing." He turned toward Lydia with a smirk. "Told you we'd be fine."

Lydia, still trembling slightly, glared at him. "This isn't over yet!"

"No," Von agreed, his grin widening. "But they're running out of tricks. And we . . . we're just getting started."

As Aeloria and Theron regrouped, preparing for their next move, Von couldn't help but glance toward the distant treetops. Horizon, you better be close. We can't hold them off forever.

But deep down, he knew they didn't need to hold out much longer. Horizon wasn't the type to waste ti. If all went according to plan, this battle would end with an unexpected twist—one that the Kingdom of Stars would never see coming.

In the distance, Horizon finally spotted the enemy's hill. It was nearly identical to their own, with the exception of the flag fluttering atop it—a stark, star-shaped emblem representing the Kingdom of Stars. His eyes narrowed as he surveyed the area, searching for signs of movent.

There. A lone figure stood guard near the flag, his back turned toward the forest. Horizon recognized him imdiately. As he had predicted, they had left only one person behind—their leader, Cedrick, who held most Artifacts in his inventory.

Horizon's lips curled into a smirk as he showed himself.

Cedrick's laugh echoed through the air, manic and gleeful. "I knew you'd co to eventually," he sneered. "I thought you were smarter than this, but it seems I was wrong. You really are an idiot for coming here alone!"

Horizon didn't flinch. His gaze was steady, and his voice was calm. "We'll see who the real idiot is here."

Cedrick's grin widened, a dangerous gleam in his eyes. "I underestimated you the first ti. But now that I know you're a tar with a disgusting dragon pet, I'm more than prepared for you. This ti, you're dead."

Horizon's lips curled into a slight smirk, unaffected. "Let's see who ends up dead. Just don't forfeit in the end—wouldn't want that to be embarrassing for you."

Cedrick's laughter was dark and full of malice. "Such big words for an idiot dead man. You left your team behind. Don't you realize how strong Aeloria is? She's one of our generals, and her spells are devastating. Without you and your dragon there, your team doesn't stand a chance against her."

Horizon raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "You have no idea how strong my team is. You'd need at least five Aeloria's to even make a dent."

Cedrick sneered, but there was a flicker of doubt in his eyes. "Heh. We'll see about that. Your teammates are probably getting obliterated right now."

Just as he spoke, the distant sound of magical explosions reverberated through the battlefield. Cedrick's smile grew wider, reveling in the chaos. "Too bad for you. Looks like you're going to lose. I really wanted to kill you myself, but it seems Aeloria will grab your flag before that happens."

Horizon remained unfazed, knowing full well the capabilities of Frigid, Von, Lydia, and Silphie. He had equipped them with so of the best gear, and he trusted in their abilities.

No, he wasn't worried. Not about them. He knew Von could hold their flag while he took care of Cedrick.

"Instead of worrying about my teammates, you should worry about yourself," Horizon said nonchalantly.

Cedrick's grin faltered, his anger flaring as his eyes narrowed. He raised his staff and pointed it at Horizon, his voice laced with venom. "Even if you beg for your life, I'll still kill you. Right here. Right now."

Horizon shrugged, his tone casual, almost bored. "You're welco to try . . . if you can."

Your next journey awaits at empire

In the blink of an eye, the Dracolich appeared at Horizon's side, its massive form looming.

Cedrick's laughter shifted, now tinged with mockery. "Ha! You think the sa trick will work on again? I know exactly how to deal with your kind, tar!"

With a swift motion, Cedrick pulled an artifact from his inventory—a mirror, ancient and shimring with dark energy. He slamd it onto the ground, and in an instant, another Dracolich materialized beside him, its eyes glowing with malicious power, an exact replica of Horizon's Dracolich.

Horizon was montarily taken aback—not because of the duplicate creature, but because Cedrick had casually used such a powerful artifact without a hint of hesitation. The prince of the Kingdom of Stars, son of Peredis, ruler of the kingdom, was truly a force to be reckoned with. Horizon was jealous at how many Artifacts he had.

Still, Horizon wasn't worried. Cedrick could gloat all he wanted.

"Ha! I've neutralized your dragon!" Cedrick crowed, his voice full of triumph. "Now you have nothing! You're dead. It's over, tar. This is the end for you!"

Horizon couldn't resist the opportunity to mock him. "Are you sure about that? For a high ranking mage, you're really are an idiot."

Cedrick's face flushed with rage, and a vein popped on his temple as his anger boiled over at how calm Horizon was, ruining his usually handso appearance. "What did you say?"
