Chapter 1479: The Land of Eternal Light
Within the Purple Star ruins outside of the Kingdom of the Nine States.
This was once the core region of the Purple Star Civilization and the most dazzling place on the entire Tai Chu Continent, but it had since been cursed by heaven and earth and reduced to a land of death and destitution.
No one dared to set foot upon this place. Even Return to Void Stage mighty figures could easily perish here if they weren’t careful.
However, amid all the rubble and despair, there was a place from which a pure white light emanated. Countless statues of ancient, ferocious beasts were lined up in two rows there.
At the end of the rows of statues was a pristine, white palace that had a holy and flawless appearance. The only thing out of place was that its ceiling was filled with countless cracks, as if it were a pane of glass that could shatter at any mont.

Many Return to Void Stage mighty figures were cultivating in peculiar spell techniques here, each of which was imbued with the intent to puncture the heavens and slice through all things.
These were all extrely renowned and powerful beings on the continent, but they were only ordinary fighters here.

The poor child finally relinquished all resistance.
If he kept on resisting, Heavenly King Li was going to compare him to every other child in this world!

“Who goes there?!” Heavenly King Li roared, and he appraised the youth with cautious eyes as the tower in his hand emanated a golden divine light.
All of the other mighty figures also began to summon their powers, and they would slay the youth on the spot if he did anything out of line.
This mysterious being could quite possibly be soone from the Heavenly Human Tribe or a representative of the Heavenly Dao!
A warm smile devoid of any animosity appeared on the youth’s face, and he nodded slightly at all of the unfamiliar powerful beings before continuing onward.
Before everyone had a chance to react.
The gate of the palace suddenly opened.
A flawlessly beautiful woman with glittering and translucent skin in a flowing white dress made her way out from within the palace while wearing an expression of excitent on her face.
“Xue Yan.” Ne Zha looked at the woman with reverence and adoration.
Xue Yan was very beautiful. Ne Zha felt as if a hot poker had been stabbed through his heart the first ti he had laid eyes upon her, making him feel as if his heart were about to explode!
She was like a flawless yet aloof goddess of ice and snow.
However, the perpetually cold and aloof Xue Yan now had tears flowing down her face, all because of the man making his way toward the palace.
Ne Zha had a bad feeling about this.
The powerful beings present were also a little hesitant. They didn’t dare to attack this man, and at the sa ti, they began to speculate about just who he could be.
Right at this mont, the Ancient Dragon Empress also appeared outside the gate and bowed slightly with a wide smile, looking as if she was here to welco that man!
All of the mighty figures present were astonished.
The Ancient Dragon Empress was already the second most prestigious being in the Heaven Crushing Sect, so who was this man that she was bowing to?
A slightly disheveled man with a pair of demon horns and crimson eyes also made his way out from the palace while holding an alcohol gourd in his hand. He seed to be very elated by the sight of the new arrival, and he gulped down a few mouthfuls of alcohol from his gourd, as if he was celebrating.
Many people at the Land of Eternal Light had seen him, but no one knew who he actually was.
So of the veteran Heaven Crushing Sect mighty figures said that he was the Heavenly Disciple Attendant of the first heavenly disciple. His na was Demon Emperor Si Yu, and apparently, he was once the most powerful being in the True Demon Tribe. After that, he changed his appearance, and even his cultivation base appeared to be only at the Soul Formation Stage. This was quite a bizarre and mysterious character.
Of course, these rumors had never been confird.
Right at this mont, a graceful and handso man in a red robe made his way out from the palace.
Everyone drew a sharp intake of breath upon seeing this man.
They had only seen this man once when joining the Heaven Crushing Sect, and they were not expecting him to co out in person to welco this new arrival!

Cyril welcod the new arrival with a warm smile. “Welco back, second heavenly disciple, Chen Chen.”
