Chapter 1367: The Wheel of Fate

Within the Spring Light Palace.

A piece of news was spreading like wildfire.

Many of the concubines were discussing this news.

“Hey, have you heard? The White-Robed Exalted Immortal has appeared again.”

“Really? It has only been over a month! Does he have no concern for his own life?”

“Apparently, this ti, he’s about to do sothing really big...”

“What’s that?”

“Free the entire Spring Light Palace!”

“Gasp... That can’t be true...”

“How could he dare to do that? And how would he even go about doing that?”

Many of the concubines were in disbelief, but a seed of hope had been planted into their hearts.

Soon after that, two thousand three hundred concubines within the Spring Light Palace suddenly received a mysterious letter that self-combusted after the contents had been read.

The handwriting on the letters was graceful yet strong, just like that white-robed man who had lit up the entire night sky not too long ago.

There was only one line of text on those letters: Do you want to leave this place? I’ll take you away after I take care of so business at the Leaping Wolf Mansion!

Almost all of the concubines’ hearts jolted upon seeing this as a peculiar emotion welled up in their hearts. So were even flushed with excitent intermingled with so other unidentifiable emotion.

The White-Robed Exalted Immortal was coming to save them!

They were all quite excited, but at the sa ti, they were also a little suspicious.

Was this a real letter or a prank?

Elsewhere on the Divine Source Empire.

This was once the Leaping Wolf Empire, but was now simply the Leaping Wolf District of the Divine Source Empire.

This was a place inhabited by both humanoid wolves and humans.

The Heavenly Wolf King of the Leaping Wolf Mansion ruled over this place. Even though he was situated in the Leaping Wolf District, he was not a humanoid wolf. Instead, he was a brawny human with a powerful cultivation base.

At the sa ti, he was also the renowned Heavenly Wolf Exalted Immortal of the Divine Source Continent who specialized in the dao of slaughter.

The Heavenly Wolf King was currently entertaining himself in his mansion.

He sat on a wolfskin throne with countless won singing and dancing for him. There were also so won holding fruit platters, so pouring wine for him, and also so trembling uncontrollably as they knelt to the side.

The Heavenly Wolf King chortled with glee before pointing to one of the won. “Your turn now. Go spin the wheel of fortune!”

The woman’s body shuddered, and her features turned deathly pale as she got up unsteadily.

In the face of the mighty figure on the throne, she had no choice but to make her way over a large wheel before spinning it.

The wheel began to spin while the song and dance continued.

The Heavenly Wolf King took a sip of wine as he looked at the spinning wheel with a smile.

In the end, the wheel stopped spinning, and the arrow pointed to a single word—Amputation.

The woman’s features paled even further upon seeing this, and she was about to burst into tears.

“Hahaha... Amputation, eh? You sure are lucky!” The Heavenly Wolf King clapped his hands together. “Looks like you get to live to see another day...”

The woman turned as her lips trembled, and she was just about to say sothing...

All of a sudden, grueso gashes appeared on her arms and legs before all four limbs were amputated!

“Ah...!”

Blood gushed through the air, and the woman’s bloodcurdling cries reverberated throughout the entire mansion.

An expression of enjoynt appeared on the Heavenly Wolf King’s face, as if he was taking pleasure from witnessing the woman’s suffering.

Right before the woman was about to die from blood loss, a healing technique was cast upon her.

“Soone drag this woman into the pigsty and raise her with the rest of the pigs...”

The Heavenly Wolf King waved a hand. “Next.”

He turned toward the trembling won kneeling before him as he pointed a finger. “You’re up.”

A woman in green was selected this ti.

She stood up with despair on her face before making her way over to the wheel and spinning it.

She had no choice but to do this because she knew what grueso fate would await her if she resisted. That was a fate truly worse than death. They had always been the playthings of the Heavenly Wolf King, and their future was filled with darkness and despair.

The wheel spun before coming to a stop.

The arrow was pointing to another section on the wheel this ti—Corroding Poison!

“No... This can’t be...” Shock, horror, and despair appeared on her face as she shook her head relentlessly, as if she had encountered sothing extrely terrifying.

Corroding poison was a poison curse cast by a professional poison master of the Leaping Wolf District. Those afflicted by the curse would be struck by the excruciating pain of having one’s body, bones, and consciousness slowly rot away before dying an extrely grueso death!

This was a fate far worse than death!

“No!” the woman wailed in despair before creating a vital energy spike, which she pierced toward her own heart.

However, right at this mont, a spatial seal immobilized her.

Her body stood completely stationary, and her face was frozen in an expression of shock and horror.

“Tsk tsk tsk, your luck isn’t that great, but you spun the wheel, so you have to accept your fate...” A twisted smile appeared on the Heavenly Wolf King’s face as his eyes road over her body. “What a pity that a beauty like you has to die. Ah, I feel like I’m getting even more excited...”

The smile of a freak appeared on the Heavenly Wolf King’s face. “Summon the poison master.”

A living being draped in a black robe with black mist rising from its body slowly approached the woman.

This was the number one poison master of the Leaping Wolf District, and it too was an exalted immortal. It specialized in inflicting the most terrifying pain upon its victims prior to their deaths.

“Co, experience pain...” the poison master’s husky voice sounded.

The woman who had just spun the wheel had tears flowing down her face, but she couldn’t even move a single finger.

All of the won kneeling on the ground had already turned their heads to the side as they couldn’t bear to watch any more of this.

This was the state of the world. The Immortal King’s dictatorial rule was absolute, and everyone else was powerless to do anything about it.

The dark poison mist was already coming closer and closer.

The woman in green closed her eyes in despair.

Right at this mont, a resounding boom suddenly erupted across heaven and earth!

The poison master’s hands faltered, and it looked up as if it could see what was going on above the roof.

The Heavenly Wolf King’s expression shifted. “What? My mansion’s enchantnt barrier was broken?!”

Imdiately afterward, an extrely terrifying divine sense enshrouded heaven and earth.

Both the poison master and the Heavenly Wolf King were struck by a sense of powerlessness, as if they were being scrutinized by a paramount mighty figure from above.

Boom!

Divine Flas crashed down from the sky, incinerating the entire mansion into nothingness.

A white-robed man stood with Divine Flas around his entire body. It was as if the sun had fallen from the sky and now stood among them.

Everyone present suddenly thought of a certain person upon seeing this figure enshrouded in Divine Flas.

The woman in green stared at the man who had suddenly appeared and given her boundless hope. “You... you’re the White-Robed Exalted Immortal!”

The Heavenly Wolf King’s expression beca extrely grave. “You’re the White-Robed Exalted Immortal?”

“That’s right.” The man nodded.

“What business do you have for encroaching upon my Leaping Wolf Palace?” the Heavenly Wolf King roared.

An Lin looked at him with a cold expression. “I’m here to f*ck you up!”

He unleashed an almighty palm as he spoke!
