— Mugeon (Internet Strear) Gallery —

[Wait, who the hell is Signal Flare? Chat keeps ntioning them.]

I heard they’re so kind of VTuber troll, but I don’t watch VTubers, so I have no clue.

[Comnts]

— Mugeon815: They don’t know…

— Mugeon914: So, that’s how it is…

— Mugeon861: It’s co to this…

— Mugeon351: They’ll find out when the ti is right…

— Mugeon734: Let’s not speak of this any further…

— Mugeon613 (OP): Stop flooding my notifications with cryptic bullshit; just answer already.

ㄴ Mugeon762: Is soone… upset?

ㄴ Mugeon125: Is that so…?

ㄴ Mugeon613 (OP): (pissed-off emoji)

— Mugeon (Internet Strear) Gallery —

[That can’t be Signal Flare.]

Sure, the crazy shots make it seem like it might be them.

But look at the weapon loadout.

One pistol. One sniper rifle.

That is not Signal Flare.

I know because I check their stats all the ti out of sheer boredom.

And not once have they played without dual sawed-off shotguns.

[Comnts]

— Mugeon651: So who is it, then? Just so weird foreigner?

— Mugeon712: Who cares? It’s hilarious. Grab a drink.

— Mugeon125: If it actually turns out to be Signal Flare, this would be legendary.

anwhile…

A kill bet against a random foreign viewer was almost unfair.

Because this was Mugeon’s domain.

— “Oh shit, he’s using a sniper.”

— “Serious mode ON.”

— “Ti to force a viewer voice reveal.”

The mont Mugeon picked up a sniper, his kill rate skyrocketed.

Even as a strear, his pro instincts were still razor-sharp.

:: Anonymous donation: 1,000 Clouds! ::

:: Kinda wish you picked Hawkeye, though. ::

— “True, lmao.”

— “If he had Hawkeye, he’d be getting guaranteed kills every ult.”

Hawkeye’s ultimate ability summoned a railgun sniper every five minutes.

A five-shot weapon that slowed enemies on hit, making them sitting ducks for follow-ups.

For sniper specialists like Mugeon, that ant a guaranteed one or two kills per use.

If he picked Hawkeye, it was basically a declaration of war—

"I’m taking at least one of you down, no matter what."

But Mugeon just laughed.

“It’s fine. This is just a fun little bet with a viewer. No need to go full tryhard.”

— “Classic Mugeon.”

— “Always acting like he’s got the advantage.”

— “I an… he does.”

— “Yeah, no need to go all out for a casual match.”

If this were a pro-level player trying to bait him into an elaborate trap, that would be different.

But what were the odds of that at this hour?

“Alright, let’s get a quick first kill.”

A lone enemy wandered across open terrain, unaware that Mugeon had them in his crosshairs.

Their movent was hurried and erratic—probably panicking because they had split from their team.

He lined up the shot.

Pulled the trigger.

CRACK.

The enemy’s shield shattered, and they dropped to the ground.

{{MovGun >> (Headshot) AhGaIsSoDamnHard}}

Snipers and sawed-off shotguns couldn’t one-shot in this ga—

Not unless the enemy had low-tier shields.

Unfortunately for this guy, they had no Level 2 shield, so they got instantly downed.

— “Crisp.”

— “RIP that guy.”

— “Unlucky.”

Mugeon calmly reloaded, ready to confirm the kill.

He aid.

Pulled the trigger—

PFFT!

A smoke grenade exploded, engulfing the downed player.

He fired blindly, but there was no hit marker.

— “???”

— “WTF?”

— “Did they have backup?”

— “Damn, that smoke reaction was FAST.”

Maybe the downed player had a skilled teammate running support.

Either way, Mugeon repositioned imdiately.

A sniper staying in one place too long was an easy target.

Even though his character’s passive ability gave him a radar ping every minute, it didn’t give exact distances—

So it was always better to move preemptively.

But just as he shifted to a lower ridge, peeking out from behind a rock—

{{MugeonIsAWell-KnownMomoAnti >> (Kill) AhGaIsSoDamnHard}}

The chat froze.

— “?????”

— “Wait.”

— “WHAT.”

— “How?!”

The viewer had just secured the kill—

With a pistol.

That ant they had pushed through the smoke while Mugeon repositioned.

In ranked matches, assists were calculated based on total damage dealt—

But in casual gas, whoever landed the final blow got the kill.

Mugeon frowned slightly.

“Uh… viewer? How’d you get over there so fast?”

He ant to say:

"Did you just steal my kill?"

Because even in a kill race, most people wouldn’t outright snipe their teammate’s target.

He assud they had just stumbled upon the smoke by chance—

Until—

The TTS voice spoke again.

[I AM DEMONIC. THE JOY OF STEALING LIVES.]

— “WHAT THE HELL IS HE SAYING? LMFAO.”

— “?????”

— “Bro just stole a kill and started monologuing.”

— “OH MY GOD, HE’S ROLEPLAYING.”

Was he… actually enjoying the kill steal?

Mugeon zood in with his scope.

The viewer’s character was standing in the open—

Dancing.

— “NO WAY.”

— “LMFAOOOOOOO.”

— “HE KNOWS. HE KNOWS HE STOLE THAT KILL.”

— “HE’S TAUNTING.”

A few seconds later, a sniper shot hit them, forcing them to stop.

But the ssage was clear.

Mugeon chuckled.

“Oh, I see how it is.”

This was war.

— “Holy shit.”

— “He talked shit, now he has to back it up.”

— “This is about to get ssy.”

But MomoAnti had just made a massive mistake.

With his strategy fully exposed, there was no way Mugeon would ss up now.

[dpckddlstod13 has left the squad.]

One of the random squad mbers disconnected—

Now, it was just Mugeon and MomoAnti.

This ant the mont one of them died, the bet was over.

Sure, in a normal match, you could revive teammates—

But in a kill race with bragging rights on the line?

No chance in hell.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Mugeon fired his gun into the air while sprinting toward MomoAnti.

The chat exploded.

— “WAIT A MINUTE.”

— “IS THIS ACTUALLY SIGNAL FLARE? LMAOOOO.”

— “Bro, that is such a dirty tactic.”

— “GENIUS move, honestly.”

— “He’s literally inviting third parties.”

This was classic Signal Flare behavior—but more importantly,

it was one of the most effective ways to bait enemies.

Mugeon was declaring war.

This is Battle Colosseum.

Let’s make this a real colosseum fight.

First one to die loses.

And right on cue—

The enemies in the nearby high ground took the bait.

A burst of gunfire rained down toward them.

Mugeon instantly slid, jumped, dashed, and air-controlled his way behind cover.

Even before looking, he knew where the enemies were—

So when he peeked through his scope, there they were.

One enemy, mid-reload, standing in the open.

Mugeon pulled the trigger.

BANG! BANG!

…Wait. Why was there an echo?

His confusion lasted only a second—until he saw the kill feed.

{{MovGun >> (Head) WhatTheHellHappenedToMySpine}}

{{MomoAnti >> (Kill) WhatTheHellHappenedToMySpine}}

The chat froze.

— “???????”

— “Excuse ?”

— “NO WAY.”

— “Did he just STEAL THAT?”

The downed enemy had Level 1 shields.

Mugeon’s headshot put them on the ground—

But MomoAnti’s bullet finished the job at nearly the sa speed.

That ant…

MomoAnti had pulled the trigger at almost the exact sa ti.

Mugeon frowned.

"That reaction speed… isn’t normal."

Most average players panic and shoot back imdiately when getting shot.

Which was a terrible idea—they’d just get lted by a prepared enemy.

Even Momo did this all the ti.

Mugeon had probably told her a hundred tis to stop panic-firing and start dodging first.

Any experienced player, especially at the pro level, would know that the correct move was to:

Bait out shots by dodging.

Find cover.

And Mugeon had done exactly that.

But so had MomoAnti.

Flawlessly.

Not only that, but his positioning was perfect—he had his back covered, so he only needed to watch the front.

And the worst part?

He was running his mouth again.

[TWO DEATHS. A HUGE GAP. YOUR CRISIS IS NEAR.]

The chat lost it.

— “Bro, I swear to god.”

— “He’s so obnoxious LMAOOOO.”

— “I LOVE HIM.”

— “Whoever this is, they are NOT an average player.”

— “Mugeon hasn’t had soone talk shit to him like this in AGES.”

Mugeon took a deep breath.

"Alright. This guy is a problem."

Was he a forr pro? A high-tier ranked player?

Either way—this wasn’t just so random viewer.

But Mugeon wasn’t worried.

It was still only 2-0.

And his ultimate was almost ready.

If he played this right, he could turn the match around.

He quickly scanned his surroundings—

The three-man squad from earlier was still up there.

One was dead.

Two remained.

Mugeon wasn’t going to let them escape.

And luckily, his legend’s ultimate ability specialized in tracking.

PING!

Ultimate ready.

Mugeon’s character, “Beefle,” clutched his head as a sonar wave pulsed outward.

A radar ping appeared on the mini-map—

One enemy was still up there.

They hadn’t moved at all.

Scared.

Perfect.

anwhile, MomoAnti was healing up.

"Good. That gives ti."

BANG!

Mugeon threw a thermite grenade and rushed the hill.

— “READY—”

— “AIM—”

— “FIRE!”

The grenade shattered a window, filling the cabin with flas.

The remaining two enemies panicked and ran outside—

Right into Mugeon’s crosshairs.

BANG!

One enemy dropped instantly.

Mugeon reloaded, sprinting forward.

There was still one left—but right now, the priority was getting the kill confirmation.

BANG!

{{MovGun >> (Kill) RiroRiroRiroKamiIsHere}}

Then, switching to his pistol—

BANG BANG BANG BANG!

The last enemy fell.

{{MovGun >> (Kill) SecurityAlarmGoesOff}}

2-2.

Mugeon exhaled, wiping sweat off his brow.

That evened the score.

But—

"Wait, where’s MomoAnti?"

He checked the mini-map—

And froze.

MomoAnti was already ahead of him.

He was looting the bodies.

"Shit."

Mugeon rushed to grab supplies—

But it was too late.

All the healing items were gone.

— “LMAOOOOOOO.”

— “BRO JUST STRIPPED HIM CLEAN.”

— “HE TOOK EVERYTHING?!”

— “OH MY GOD, HE’S SABOTAGING HIM.”

MomoAnti, once again, opened his damn mouth.

[YOUR DEDICATION. GREATLY APPRECIATED.]

Mugeon gritted his teeth.

He had dealt with plenty of stream snipers before.

But no one had ever been this good—

Or this much of an asshole.

And for the first ti in a while,

A rare, genuine curse slipped from his mouth.

“What kind of asshole is this…?”
