The Noir private estate stretched for several miles, and within the grand manor were several mansions that housed the different children of the family.

Maximus had several descendants, and although there was enough space for each of them to have their own building, most of these descendants shared mansions. The only exceptions were three: the two High Rank Disposition Holders... and the single Special Rank Disposition Holder.

Within the Grimdark Castle was the lone existence of Selica, the abode of the youngest daughter of the Noir Family.

—Selica Magicula Vi Noir!

No one else dwelt in this vast building.

Who would dare?

The maids only ca to clean it up, and they usually did so remotely using Mystic Objects.

As for food, they often did the sa.

Since there were all kinds of Principal Dispositions in this world, it was possible to transport als or any other object into the vast building. The existence of special items called Mystic Objects also made it easier.

Security was also not a problem, as the Castle’s exterior was guarded to the extre.

If one didn’t know any better, they would think the one inside was so kind of hardened criminal. The guards present didn’t simply exist to protect the Young Lady from the world—an act that many would consider unnecessary—but also to protect the world from her.

Their presence prevented so poor soul from stumbling into the building.

There had been cases in the past when Selica’s siblings, perhaps out of curiosity or filial obligation, visited her.

She beat them near the inch of their lives.

They were only barely saved after being carted away in a hurry.

She was THAT dangerous!

As such, she wasn’t even allowed to leave her castle unless express permission was taken, and there had to be constant watch over her.

This caged beast—or rather, beautiful young lady—lived such a life.

And now, in her room, she was rampaging like the wild creature that she was.

"THAT BIIIIIIITCHHHH!!!"

Selica’s voice, which was supposed to sound childlike and cute, felt like it ca from a demonic entity. It was so loud and rough, containing vibrations that caused the structure around her to tremble. The sheer bloodlust that dripped from her tone was enough to cause even the guards outside the building to shake in terror.

They feared that if the Young Lady broke out of the locked cage she was in, their lives would be claid.

This wasn’t an unfounded fear.

Selica had killed guards who stood in her way before!

She had also slaughtered several of her aides.

In fact, one could say Emily was quite fortunate since she left Selica’s side in one piece. One could attribute it to the fact that Richard knocked Selica unconscious, thus she didn’t get to transfer her aggression to the only woman by her side.

Emily had left Selica in her room and left to report to the Head of the Noir Family before she woke up, so her life was spared—albeit barely.

But what about these guards?

They were right outside the castle walls.

If Selica managed to break out and she saw them, they would be food on a platter.

Only after killing them would her murderous desires be quenched.

But why?

Why was she emitting so much bloodlust?

Was there any cause to guess?

The answer—

"RICHARRRRRRRD! RICHARD LAMPEROUGE VON BLANCCCCCC!!!"

She hissed like a vile serpent.

Her roar was more powerful than a lion’s, almost resembling that of a dragon. Her face, however, had grown twisted to look like a chimpanzee or so kind of baboon.

She had grown ugly—her entire countenance warped as a result of the crippling rage.

At this point, there was only emotion she recognized.

—HATE!

"FUUUCCCCK! FUCK YOU! YOU DARE DO THIS TO ?!" Her scream was accompanied by her jumping all around her room.

Her jumps created contours on the floor and ceiling.

Every ti she spoke, she punched sothing. This devastated the walls and other expensive pieces of furniture that adorned her room.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH! ARGHHHH! I HATE YOUUUUUUUU!!!"

Yes... She really did.

If she were let loose at this mont, she would not hesitate to chase after Richard and claim his life—that was a fact.

And this wasn’t so kind of twisted love kind of hate.

No.

She was obsessed, yes.

But not in a romantic kind of way.

She actually... legitimately... would kill Richard if she had the chance.

She truly despised him.

"This is so unfair! He humiliated so much, yet I’m the one being punished through house arrest? How is this fair?!" Selica began biting her nails, her cold violet eyes gleaming with a desire for excessive violence.

She tried to reflect on what she could have done wrong.

However, no matter how hard she thought about it, she couldn’t find any fault in her actions.

The strong took from the weak, right?

She was strong.

Everyone around her was weak.

Thus, it was only natural for her to take whatever she wanted from anyone.

Even if it was their lives!

Yes, she beat Richard near the inch of his life... but so what?

He was weak!

Until... He counterattacked.

"B-but that was cheating! He used his Principal Disposition! If I were allowed to use my Principal Disposition, I would have pumled him with no problem at all!"

Why?

Why was life so unfair?!

"Fuck! The next ti I’ll get to see him is in the Academy! Do I really have to wait five years before having my revenge?!"

It didn’t seem like she would be able to contain this rage until then.

Still—

"Father has warned several tis already, and he has given several restrictions. Fuck this shit... Why do I have to listen to him?!" As she was mumbling and screaming to herself, she began to grin like a devil.

No, she had always been grinning like a devil.

But this... this was far worse.

It was like she had beco a primordial entity of all things evil and wicked.

"Hmm... Well... I suppose I could wait until then..."

A terrible desire began to form in her heart.

It sullied whatever flicker of goodness was left in her soul.

Once that last ember was snuffed out, she took on a completely different form—at least ntally.

"I will wait until the Academy. Before the ti arrives, I guess I’ll train as much as possible..."

Selica already knew Richard was no match for her.

Even if his Principal Disposition was impressive, there was no way it could overco her own.

She was Special Rank, after all!

So why was she training?!

"To appease , I’ll make sure father puts all his efforts into sending actual trainers who will help get accustod to my Principal Disposition. They must be strong, too..." Her face began to warp as an ugly grin appeared on her face.

"Then, I’ll kill all of them! I’ll slaughter them like lambs!"

That was it!

The only way to appease her.

By using others as sacrifices, she would postpone the judgnt of the one who had wronged her.

Richard Lamperouge Von Blanc!

"Hehehe... haaa... hehehehe!" Selica began to lick her lips while making a toothy grin. "Wait for , future husband."

Pink hues even slowly appeared on her previously pale cheeks.

It was... horrific!

"We’re going to enjoy ourselves really well in the future!"
