Dean Bruce nodded. "I understand. I'll be careful. However, we can't stay on the defensive forever. We need to take the initiative, locate the remnants of the Black Hole Organization, and wipe them out entirely."
Cyb Louis frowned. "Taking the initiative is all well and good, but the risks are significant. We must ensure we have sufficient intelligence and preparation before making a move."
Dean Bruce pondered for a mont before replying, "You're right. We can't act blindly. I'll keep gathering intelligence and work on a more detailed plan. However, we can't drag this out for too long. This threat needs to be dealt with swiftly."
Cyb Louis nodded. "Alright, you handle your end. I'll reach out to other magical factions and try to garner their support. If you need anything from , just say the word."
With that, Cyb Louis turned and left.
At that mont, Alice and Prolo Hawthorne approached.
They called out to Dean Bruce just as he was about to head back inside.
"Professor Dean, I need to talk to you," Alice said, her voice trembling slightly. There was a hint of unease in her eyes.
Dean Bruce turned around, noting Alice's complicated expression. A sense of curiosity and concern stirred within him.
"What is it, Alice? Go ahead," Dean Bruce said gently.
Alice took a deep breath, as if summoning her courage. "The truth is... I'm not really a student. I was sent here as an undercover agent by Elvis Donimo."
Dean Bruce's heart jolted at her words. He hadn't expected Alice to repeat such a revelation, but he quickly regained his composure.
"You've already told this before. Why are you bringing it up again?" Dean Bruce asked in a stern tone. "I'm very busy right now. I don't have ti for your matters. Do you understand?"
Alice lowered her head. "I... I don't want to deceive you anymore, Professor Dean. I know what I did was wrong, but I truly don't know what else to do."
Looking at Alice's helpless deanor, Dean Bruce couldn't help but feel a wave of complicated emotions. He understood that Alice was, in many ways, a victim herself, manipulated by Elvis Donimo into carrying out dangerous tasks.
"Alice, don't panic," Dean Bruce said, trying to calm her. "I'll take care of this. But you need to tell —what exactly is Elvis Donimo planning? Why did he send you to infiltrate the academy?"
Alice hesitated for a mont but eventually disclosed Elvis Donimo's plans to Dean Bruce.
After listening, Dean Bruce's brows furrowed deeply as he sank into thought.
He realized that the situation was far more intricate and dangerous than he had anticipated. But he also knew he couldn't stand idly by—he had to find a way to eliminate this looming threat.
"Alice, go back and rest for now," Dean Bruce said. "I'll carefully consider this matter and co up with a solution."
Alice nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Professor Dean. I don't know what else to do—I can only rely on you."
With that, she turned and left. Prolo Hawthorne watched her retreating figure, a hint of worry flashing in his eyes.
"Professor Dean, what should we do next?" Prolo Hawthorne asked.
Dean Bruce thought for a mont before replying, "We need to locate Elvis Donimo's hideout as soon as possible and bring him to justice. At the sa ti, we must strengthen the academy's defenses and increase vigilance to prevent any attacks from the remnants of the Black Hole Organization."
Prolo Hawthorne nodded. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Looking at Prolo's determined expression, Dean Bruce felt a wave of warmth in his heart.
"Prolo, reach out to the Herbert family and other trustworthy magical factions. Seek their support," Dean Bruce said. "We need to unite all the forces we can to counter the threat posed by the Black Hole Organization."
Prolo Hawthorne acknowledged with a firm nod and left to carry out the task. Dean Bruce stayed behind, lost in thought as he strategized the next steps.
He knew this was just the beginning of the battle and that the road ahead would be long and fraught with challenges. Yet, he firmly believed that with unity and determination, they could overco any obstacle.
anwhile, outside Dean Bruce's residence, a mysterious figure appeared silently. The person stood still, blending seamlessly into the shadows of the night, almost imperceptible.
Through the narrow gap in the window, the figure observed Dean Bruce, who was deep in thought inside. A flicker of complex emotions flashed in their eyes.
"Dean Bruce…" the figure murmured softly. "What is your true identity?"
—
Elsewhere, in the principal's office.
The principal was on a call with a mysterious voice.
"The plan is proceeding smoothly. Dean Bruce has already learned about Alice's true identity," the principal reported.
"Excellent," the voice replied. "Now it's up to Dean Bruce to decide his next move. However, make sure Alice remains safe—she's still of use to us."
The principal nodded. "Understood. But that enigmatic figure seems to have a strong interest in Dean Bruce. Who is he, really?"
"That's not for you to know," the voice said coldly. "Your job is to follow our plan. Rember, your family is still in our hands. If you dare betray us, you know the consequences."
At these words, the principal's expression shifted slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.
"I understand," the principal said. "I will continue to follow the plan. But I also hope you'll keep your word and release my family once this is over."
"Of course," the voice replied. "As long as you stay obedient, your family will remain unhard. Now, get ready. Rember, the plan must go off without a hitch."
With that, the communication device went silent, leaving only a faint hum of static. The principal stared at the now-dark screen, his expression conflicted. He knew there was no turning back. He had no choice but to follow the instructions.
—
Ti was running out, and Dean Bruce had to make a decision quickly. He was well aware that the remnants of the Black Hole Organization wouldn't give them much ti to prepare.
Sitting at his desk, he clutched a map marked with various possible hideout locations. However, the sites were too scattered, and the Black Hole Organization's mbers were cunning enough to relocate at any mont.
"What's the best course of action here?" Dean Bruce muttered to himself.
Just then, a series of urgent knocks broke the silence. Frowning, he got up and opened the door to find Prolo Hawthorne rushing toward him, his face filled with anxiety.
"Professor Dean, bad news! The Herbert family just sent word—they were ambushed by remnants of the Black Hole Organization while traveling!" Prolo exclaid.
Dean Bruce's heart sank at the news. This was a clear sign that the Black Hole Organization was already making its move.
"We have to act imdiately!" Dean Bruce said decisively. "Prolo, alert everyone and prepare for battle!"
Prolo nodded and hurried off to carry out the orders. anwhile, Dean Bruce donned his magical robes and grabbed his staff, readying himself for the confrontation.
He knew the battle ahead would be incredibly difficult, but he believed that united, they could overco any challenge.
As he prepared to leave, a familiar figure stepped into view.
"Professor Dean, where are you going?" Alice asked.
Dean Bruce looked at her determined expression and couldn't help but feel a twinge of emotion. He knew that although Alice had once been used by Elvis Donimo, she now stood firmly on their side.
"I'm heading out to face the remnants of the Black Hole Organization," Dean Bruce replied. "Alice, stay here and protect the academy."
Alice shook her head. "No, Professor Dean. I'm coming with you. I know I've made mistakes in the past, but now I want to make things right."
Dean Bruce looked at Alice's earnest eyes and hesitated for a mont. But he knew this wasn't the ti for doubt.
"Alright, Alice, you can co with ," Dean Bruce said. "But be careful and make sure to protect yourself."
Alice nodded firmly. "I will, Professor Dean."
Dean Bruce and Alice quickly made their way to the battlefield. Upon arrival, they saw the magicians of the Herbert family locked in an intense fight with the remnants of the Black Hole Organization.
"Hold on, everyone! We're here to support you!" Dean Bruce shouted, raising his wand. A blinding beam of light shot out, striking several Black Hole Organization mbers who were attacking the Herbert magicians.
Alice followed right behind him, unleashing her mastery of wind magic. Powerful gusts and hurricanes swept across the battlefield, sending the Black Hole Organization's forces staggering in disarray.
"Professor Dean, we've arrived!" Prolo Hawthorne called out as he led a team of reinforcents to the scene. They quickly joined the fray, fighting alongside Dean Bruce and Alice.
With their arrival, the tide of the battle began to turn. The Black Hole Organization's forces were steadily pushed back, though they fought with desperate ferocity, refusing to surrender.
"Stay alert, everyone! They may have a backup plan!" Dean Bruce warned, scanning the battlefield.
As if on cue, a surge of powerful magical energy suddenly rippled through the air.
A figure appeared high above the battlefield, radiating an overwhelming aura of dark energy. His eyes burned with madness and hatred, and his presence alone seed to weigh heavily on everyone below.
"Who is that?" Dean Bruce asked Alice, his tone sharp and focused.
Alice's expression tensed. "Professor Dean, that's Jas Bondham. His strength rivals that of Shasbia. You'll need to be extrely careful."
