303: Chapter 299: The King of Mockery 303: Chapter 299: The King of Mockery The next morning.

Players, eager for action, gathered in small groups, waiting to be teleported.

Mu Ying activated the teleportation access on ti and teleported over with Gungun.

The once empty Harbor Camp suddenly buzzed with excitent.

Mu Ying, still levitating in the air, used the blueprint from the previous construction of the Undersea Corridor to set up a simple three-story platform at the edge of the camp.

“Ranged professionals, get on the platform and avoid looking directly at the Divine Statue!” Mu Ying commanded through an amplification spell.

With Little Red’s Thorny Battle Armor fully grown, the thorny branch in her hand, which could switch freely between a Magic Wand and a Magic Artifact, no longer seed out of place, so she could make use of her magic abilities as needed.

The main reason for the platform was the protective shield around the camp, which ant safety wasn’t a concern.

Ranged professionals would have a better view from above, and more space would be available for lee professionals below.

Mu Ying also went to the top of the platform with Gungun, and now, nobody likely had a wider attack range than hers.

From this position, the entire Fishman Village’s altar was within her attack range.

The Fishn couldn’t tolerate such a large group of humans suddenly appearing within their territory, and they imdiately sward over, weapons in hand.

Under the influence of the Divine Statue, the entire Fishman clan had lost much of their sense and rationale, for only such creatures can worship a God with such fervor, offering the purest power of faith.

However, they weren’t entirely fearless of death like zombies.

If the situation turned dire, they would still flee.

Especially since they were led by a level 10 Fishman Priest who retained so sense of reason.

Therefore, this initial charge was the key to annihilating the enemy; once the Fishn realized they faced an impenetrable transparent barrier, and while their attacks couldn’t get through, the humans’ could, they might not charge so recklessly.

As the Fishn approached, Mu Ying gave the signal to attack.

Everyone fought their own battles, or worked in teams to launch attacks against the Koutao Fishn.

The Koutao Fishn’s defensive power was very low, even worse than that of zombies, so they naturally couldn’t withstand such direct attacks from the players.

Mu Ying didn’t engage in killing the Koutao Fishn; although a single spell from her could have wiped out a group of them, killing Fishn offered no benefits to her.

She kept her eyes fixed on the altar instead.

Her purpose in issuing the quest to clear out the Fishn was to have the players hold off the Fishn’s main forces so she could seize the opportunity to attack the altar and gain Professional Experience; the Fishn, on the other hand, were not her imdiate concern.

With this camp set up, it was strategically advantageous for the players to eradicate the Fishn, so she let them be.

The territory’s players were happy for her to do so; after all, there were rewards for killing the Fishn, and for every Fishman Mu Ying killed, they would lose a share of those rewards.

At this ti, the Fishman Priest wasn’t conducting a ritual, reacting much faster than last ti by moving to the rear ranks of the Fishn and using a Water Control Skill to command the waves to crash toward them.

While the Fishman Priest cast his spell, Mu Ying made her move.

She didn’t use a large range Attack Magic, but rather set up an Illusion around the altar, covering part of the sacrificial offering area.

The Illusion replicated the terrain as it was in that section.

Then, Mu Ying took out the Green Wood Longbow, drew it fully; on the bowstring, the most common Energy Arrow ford, Crosshair Skill activated, quickly aiming and firing an arrow at the area covered by the Illusion.

“[You have destroyed the sacrificial altar of the Fishman God Bribodup, gaining 10× Professional Experience]”

[You have destroyed the altar of the Fishman God Bribodup and gained Professional Experience x12]

In the adventure record, prompts for killing monsters appeared in succession, and Mu Ying’s Professional Experience soared rapidly.

The battlefield was chaotic.

The arrows that were fired would break the altar and then vanish, making very little noise, and not even the fishn who were frantically attacking noticed the destruction of their sacrificial altar.

The players’ battle also went exceptionally smoothly.

Close-combat professionals pierced and slashed, while long-ranged professionals blood with spells everywhere.

But the good tis didn’t last long.

After the Fishman Priests sent the first wave of waves rolling over without affecting the players in the camp, they intensified their efforts with a second and third assault.

Finally, the brain influenced by the Evil God sobered up a bit.

Their casualties were quite severe.

The Fishman Priest gave up on continuing the attack, stamped his magic wand, used the Group Healing Technique, and ordered, “sduhkf!”

Though the fishn were mad by average, they held absolute worship and obedience towards the Fishman God and the High Priest.

Upon hearing the retreat order from the Fishman Priest, they all started pulling back hurriedly, and their speed was not slow.

“Hit them fast!

They’re trying to run!” the players shouted, increasing their attack speed even more.

The spellcasters also tried various spells to block the fishn’s retreat.

Just then, on the high platform, Mu Ying said to Gungun, “Now is the ti!”

Gungun took a deep breath, used his Fruit Pitcher Skill, and a round waterlon appeared in his hand.

Throwing it forcefully into the crowd of fishn, it exploded on impact with the first Koutao Fishman, its red juice splattering onto dozens of fishn.

Suddenly, within the orderly retreating fishn, dozens of them went completely mad.

With eyes afla, they fought against the current to surge upwards, tossing their spears straight toward Gungun.

Once their hands were empty of spears, they squeezed toward the Harbor Camp, waving their harpoons and cursing towards the high platform.

“Who threw that waterlon?”

“Have the fishn completely lost their minds?”

These were the common questions among all players.

But while the curiosity remained, the pace of earning had to stay brisk.

Their questions were quickly answered.

Because at so point, a giant vine appeared on the high platform.

The lower half was coiled around the columns of the platform, while the upper half was tossing a black and white figure outwards ti and again.

With each outward toss of the giant vine, a succession of honeydew, cantaloupes, sweet lons, papayas, apples, and pears of all sorts were thrown far into the midst of the fishn.

These fruits looked very real, but they exploded like lit firecrackers upon impact, splashing juice and flesh, and each fishman splattered with it temporarily forgot the command of their High Priest.

They found a “lifelong enemy” that had to be confronted, rushing towards the shadow wrapped in the giant vine in the sky.

The giant vine at tis tossed to this area, then to another, leading the fishn on a wild chase.

In the process of chasing Gungun, the fishn’s numbers also dwindled, all picked off opportunistically by the players.

With the help of the giant vine, Gungun’s fruit-throwing range exceeded even the distance of Mu Ying’s arrow shots.

Additionally, with the group of retreating fishn being thrown into chaos by the successive appearance of “Reverse Walkers” struck by fruits, their formation beca a total ss.

The already well-coordinated and uniform retreat was completely ruined, even leading to a stampede.
