Chapter 59: Garuda’s Story

Eugene City, Beast Tar Association.

The Beast Tars who had returned alive stood in the hall with their minds in complete chaos.

Many people’s contracted spirit beasts had been killed. It could be said that their losses were imnse.

There was no need to continue the competition.

With most people’s spirit beasts gone, how could they compete?

So people questioned the Beast Tar Association’s inappropriate planning which resulted in this outco.

The Beast Tar Association did not agree with them about this. After all, they had told everyone in advance.

At the sa ti, they promised to give everyone a compensation of considerable value.

Other than that, the Beast Tar Association announced that the friendly match was canceled and that it would be held again soti later.

The Dragon Blood Grass that Giles obtained from the Decker Mountain Range was also handed over to the Beast Tar Association and he obtained a resource of equivalent value.

Of course, the Dragon Blood Grass was also sent to Alina in the end.

With the help of the Beast Tar Association, Alina successfully consud it and resolved her body’s problem.

“Giles, thank you very much.”

Alina’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Giles with watery eyes.

Then, before Giles could say anything, she hugged him tightly.

The unique fragrance that was unique to girls filled the air. Feeling the girl’s weak body in his arms, Giles hugged her back.

Ti seed to have stopped at that mont.

“Ahem, it’s ti to go.”

Gandalf broke the silence.

Giles wasn’t planning to stay here. He couldn’t wait that long.

With Janice here to look after them, he felt assured and prepared to return to Yin City with Alina.

However, as Giles’ spirit beasts were all in a deep slumber here and Alina was only at the Gold rank, Gandalf had to personally send the two of them back to Yin City.

After all, one was Giles, who had helped them a lot, and the other was the daughter of the Spirit Beast Chamber of Comrce. The Beast Tar Association was also willing to do them a favor.

Together with Alina, they stepped onto Gandalf’s flying beast and headed back to Yin City.

It had to be said that the speed of a Legend-rank beast was indeed fast. In just two days, the two of them returned to Yin City.

When they landed in Yin City, Giles felt like it was very surreal.

It was as if he had experienced a lot during this trip. Most importantly, the few spirit beasts in his hands had been left in Eugene City. However, there would definitely be a day when they woke up. When that ti ca, their transformation would definitely be astonishing.

“Alright, I’ve successfully sent you two to your destination. My mission is complete.”

“I haven’t been to Yin City in a long ti. I’ll go to the Beast Tar Association to look for a few old friends. You guys can head ho first.”

After saying that, Gandalf rushed towards the Beast Tar Association in the city.

Alina and Giles looked at each other.

Alina blushed and said, “I’ve been gone for a long ti. I need to go ho first.”

Giles nodded.

“Okay, I want to go and take a look at the gym too.”

After the two of them bade each other farewell, Giles returned to Starlux Gym.

Although it had been a long ti since he left, this place was still very clean.

It was clear that soone from the Spirit Beast Chamber of Comrce had cleaned it.

Giles walked to the spirit-beast section and let out all the spirit beast cubs that he had brought along with him previously. There were about a dozen of them.

As Giles had been worried about leaving them in the gym and also because they were pestering him, he had no choice but to bring them along previously.

However, along the way, apart from feeding them, he did not tell them any stories.

At that mont, they looked at Giles in grievance.

Upon seeing this scene, Giles smiled wryly.

“It’s already too late today. I’ll tell you a story tomorrow, alright?”

When they heard this, the eyes of the ten or so spirit beast cubs lit up.

Not bothering with them any further, Giles walked into his room and began to rest. He hadn’t had a good rest in days.

The night passed uneventfully.

The next day, Giles woke up feeling refreshed.

After washing up and eating casually, Giles enjoyed his leisure ti.

However, it was obvious that there were spirit beasts that did not want him to be so relaxed.

The ten or so spirit beast cubs ran over from the spirit-beast section and gathered beside Giles, staring at him with large watery eyes.

The little fox that he had brought back from the Solomon Mountains didn’t know what was happening and jumped into Giles’ arms.

Feeling the furry touch in his arms, Giles instinctively stroked it.

Then, his gaze was attracted by a small golden eagle standing on the tree.

It was the descendant of Alice’s Epic-rank beast.

Looking at it, Giles thought of the story he wanted to tell.

He smiled and swept his gaze across the cubs in front of him.

“Next, I’ll tell you a story.”

Upon hearing this, the spirit beast cubs imdiately sat in a line and waited for Giles’ story.

“This is a story about revenge and protection.”

“In ancient tis, the Gods erged in an unending floor. Endless wars of the Gods spread across the entire continent, and every race joined in this terrifying battle.”

“After a long period of war, many creatures lost their lives. The Snake God, Naga, led its race through countless battles and beca the ruler of many tribes. They road the continent in a vain attempt to conquer the world. Even when the Gods attacked them, they would be directly killed by them and the flas of war continued.”

“It eventually burned to a race called Garuda. This race has an eagle head and a human body, with a pair of golden wings on their back that allowed them to soar through the nine heavens. When every mber of the tribe matures, they are all natural warriors with terrifying strength that can rip tal apart with their bare hands. However, they love peace and have been avoiding the chaos of war. However, in this era where the Gods are fighting for supremacy, which race can avoid it?”

“The Nagas were afraid of their power. In order to prevent this tribe from standing in the way of their ambition to rule the world, they deployed many forces to completely exterminate this race.”

“They succeeded, but they also failed.”

“The Garuda race was wiped out, and corpses were strewn all over the place. The Naga race had taken another small step forward in dominating the world.”

“However, what they did not expect was…”

“Amongst the corpses of countless Garudas, a young Garuda crawled out.”
