"You cannot defeat the darkness if you only have the light."

Elliot saw the world shifted. The ground flipped and his entire vision blurred for a split second before it returned, now showing a dark green fields of black grass and an endless pitch black, starless sky.

It was a familiar, yet foreign place to be. Elliot did not know what was going on nor he knows how to escape from this place. Malice could be killing him right now, and he would have no idea.

"You don’t have to worry."

Elliot spun when he heard the voice. A woman sitting on a glass chair slid closer to him, appearing from the darkness. She was stirring a glass tea in her hand while leaning on the other, hand on her chin as she watched Elliot’s confused face.

"You are in a world where ti and space barely exists, a crack in the reality," the woman said. Elliot stood there, staring at the veiled woman who now took a sip of her cup. "Join here."

She waved her hand, summoning a glass chair that was similar to the one she was sitting on. She gestured for him to sit, and Elliot hesitantly sat in front of her. A cup of a dark brown liquid appeared in front of Elliot. He watched the cup and gulped, nervous.

"It’s only tea," the woman said. "You don’t have to worry about anything here for this realm transcends through ti and space. A crack in reality, a piece of the void."

Elliot stared at the woman. He realized that it was the sa thin woman that was under the veil, the one that appeared to him a few tis.

"Why did you bring here?" Elliot asked. "I don’t think I know what’s going on, so please enlighten ."

"You’re in a prophecy, one that’s so great, it actually manifests itself. That prophecy is ," the woman spoke. "My prophet used a huge amount of power to create . She used up almost all of her power, and when that wasn’t enough, she burned so of her life force."

Elliot was speechless. He could only stare at the woman as she speak of the prophet. "But I still don’t understand why I am here. I get it now. The prophecy to bring down malice, the Boy of White and Black, that’s . I am born from both an Angel and a Demon."

"The prophecy you know is incomplete, and inconsistent to what it actually ans," the woman said. "Of course, anyone who wishes to see the prophecy would know those words, it’s what the surface of the prophecy states. What so don’t know is about how the Prophecized Boy of Darkness and Light was built to defeat the great queen of darkness."

"Built?" Elliot placed his hands on the table. He leaned closer to the woman, now paying more attention to her.

"Yes, you are not born, child. You are created. You are a manifestation of everything that had happened, and those will bring you your true potential," the woman continued. "Right now, you are not yet complete. You must wait for one more actor, a character that will dampen the eyes of many."

"I have to wait for soone’s arrival? But why?" Elliot asked. "Malice is too strong for us, we can’t hold her back more than we are doing right now."

The woman chuckled. "Elliot, you know that’s not everything that you can do. You’re much more powerful than that. You just have to wait, just for a little more. When he arrives, then the stars will officially align. The heavens will shake and all darkness will break loose. When that happens, when you reach the last string of life, you shall awaken."

The woman smiled, looking at Elliot. "You know, so of the prophet’s mories were embedded into after she used so of her life force. I could see how I want to protect you from harm and keep you here forever because you look so much like your mother."

The prophet stood and waved her hand, making all the furniture and cups disappear. "I close this prophecy and you shall leave. Wait for him and you will win."

Without letting Elliot speak another word, the prophecy was closed. Elliot returned to reality, right at the mont that Malice closed in on him. He stepped back and created a shield using the petals of Lotus Blast.

Malice held her attack, imdiately noticing the sudden change of Elliot’s aura. He seed to have relieved of so of his fatigue as well as replenished so of his energy.

"You were away for a while, weren’t you?" Malice asked, grinning. "Where was it? Sothing about another person defeating ?"

Elliot needed to buy as much ti a she could. In order to do that, he must entertain Malice with so small talk. If he has to talk his way until the person arrives, then he will. He was more than willing to.

"Elliot, dear. You really misunderstood how much I an when I say that I’m the strongest being right now below the Absolutes. My power exceeds everything that you have ever fought before by tens of tis more," Malice said. "You should just give up and offer your head. I promise you that I will make it as painless as possible."

"You don’t really get it, do you?" Elliot smirked. "Prophecies are true no matter how much you try to deny it. What must happen will happen, and a prophecy has been declared that I will defeat you."

There was a visible discomfort in Malice’s face, one that struck a fear in Elliot’s mind. She was furious and she wasn’t hiding her intent to kill, the terrifying aura that exuded her body.

"You have guts to speak that, you know," Malice chuckled. "I have never wanted to kill anyone like how I want to kill you, Elliot. Let prove to you that you are not as special. Not all prophecies co true, and that silly little prophecy that you believed in is just one of those."

Malice released a barrage of hundreds of bolts of black energy. Her body was filled with the black balls of light that she used to fire her attacks. She was relentless, and now it was obvious that she wasn’t seriously fighting Elliot before.

"Oh, no," Elliot gulped. He raised his sword to block so of the bolts, dodging rest as fast as he could. "There are so many. How could I possibly win over this?"

The boy was having a hard ti as ti passed by. His movents were now sluggish and his body was stiff. Even Hasty Aspire was slow.

Elliot was nearing his limit.

"Indulge yourself in this endless rain or black terrors. I have been trying to go easy on you because you carry my blood, but you just have to let go all out," Malice sighed. "It’s such a sha."

Malice vanished from where she stood, but the attack was yet to cease its endless rain. It was as if ti slow down when Elliot felt the massive aura behind him. He was busy blocking the bolts, it was impossible for him to block this one.

"Goodbye."

Malice conjured a sword made of black energy and pierced it right through Elliot’s chest.
