Spencer cracked a smile. He walked forward as the two raised their guard. They watched Spencer sigh and conjure a chair behind him, only for him to sit on cross-legged. Spencer was staring at the two with dark intent in his eyes.
He had sothing in his eyes that told them that he has sothing else planned in his eyes. There was a tint of darkness and a grugde that he holds without showing any signs of trying to hide it.
"You don’t need to intervene to my duties and responsibilities," Spencer said. "I have to keep my word to our King and watch over his son for him. I will not let so chick from a dirty Realm taint his image."
"So chick from a dirty Realm?!" Trinidad growled. She lunged forward and thumped her right foot but her attack was blocked by Francoise. "What do you think you’re doing?"
"I’m not letting you attack him," Francoise said. "Let’s listen to him first. What does he need to do and why is he deceiving us?"
"I’m one of the secret knights of the King of Heaven," Spencer introduced. "I was ordered to guide the prince in his little adventure to quench his thirst for curiousity but I should take him back once sothing like this happens. If the woman really does fall in love and the prince would love her back, then that is a matter of life and death for you."
"Why do you think that?" Francoise asked. "We’re both more powerful than you in a lot of aspects. You don’t stand a chance against us yet you dare threaten us?"
"Of course, I don’t. But I have an ace up my sleeve. You should know that," Spencer smirked. "Angels have one more powerup that we can use once in our lives. But this will grant us power that goes beyond what you can imagine."
"And you expect us to not go all out just to defeat you?" Francoise raised his hands and conjured a powerful energy on his hands. "Don’t even try to think that we would just sit here idling while you do your own thing."
"No," Spencer smirked. "And that is why I have several plans before my actual plan."
He raised his index and middle finger and an arrow appeared in front of the two digits. He smirked and a magic circle appeared below the two. They tried to escape but there was no way to repel the magic cast upon them.
"That is the spell, Pure Magnet," Spencer said. "No one can escape from that even when you have ten tis the power against . Although it takes so long to set up, the advantage I gain is more than enough for to temporarily hold your movents."
"Shattered Starlight!"
Several sand-like shards of cosmic power appeared above Spencer. He only smirked as the beams of light from the shards rained down on him, trying to kill him with all the power it was exuding. He raised a shield above him when he felt like escape was futile. He watched Francoise with a smirk plastered on his face.
"I never knew that you cast such pathetic skills," Spencer chuckled. "You always seem like you’re sothing but you’re actually just nothing, right?"
"Don’t try to think that you won against just because you halted my movents and sealed my powers," Francoise said. "This ring appears to not only hold but bind my magic. What kind of skill is this?"
"The sa kind that the five realms used against us," Spencer replied, sighing. "I never thought that you could be so asly stupid that you gave us access to your skill. We still have no way of reverting the entire seal, but the prince knows how to tear a chunk on the seal."
"So that’s your interest in him?" Trinidad asked. "You don’t plan on serving him. You just want his knowledge to release the havoc that is Heaven. You’re an even bigger stupid idiot. Heaven is nothing but a realm filled with power-hungry beasts and people that wants to eradicate all other races. You’ve sen Terra. You should know the difference between the peole of the two realms."
"I don’t," Spencer chuckled. "No matter how much you try and talk to , I won’t listen because I honestly don’t care about how you feel. I want Heaven to be free and our King to rain his grace upon the rest of the realms."
"You’re an idiot," Francoise growled. "Shattered Starlight!"
Once again, shards appeared around Spencer. Although this ti, they weren’t just right above him, but all around him. The shards were even more powerful than the shards from earlier and he knows that if he gets hit by even just one of the shards, it would end him.
"This is getting annoying." Spencer wrapped himself around with a bubble that’s made of light. The bubble successfully blocked all the attacks while he remained inside, watching Francoise and Trinidad try to break free from his binding skill.
"Although I would like to play with you more, I have to go," Spencer said. "I won’t kill you Francoise. I still need sothing from Reginald. He’s going to be with forever once I get that from him."
"I will not let this slide, Spencer!" Francoise yelled. "You shall release at once and then I’ll decide if you get to stay alive or not."
"I’m so scared," Spencer laughed. He conjured another magic circle, but this ti it was above them. It was pale blue in color and was more powerful than the Pure Magnet. "mory Alter!"
The light swallowed Francoise and Trinidad, causing them to black out and awaken after several hours.
"What happened?" Reginald asked, trying to nudge Francoise. lissa was also trying to wake Trinidad up, but she was unsuccessful.
"Oh," Francoise opened his mouth to try and speak sothing but he was lost. He knows that sothing happened, but he don’t know what. He was speechless, but at the sa ti he knows sothing. "I don’t know. I don’t rember."
"Must be because of your old age." Spencer brought them coffee and while the atmosphere was silent for a while, Francoise did not say anything. But perhaps because he did not know anythint. The gut feeling that he had right now was noting different from when he feels sothing odd is going to happen.
"Really must be because of your old age," Spencer chuckled and handed them coffee. "You should rest, old man."
"I should?" Francoise sighed. "Maybe I should."
It was then when the door opened. A young man ran towards them. "My daughters are born!"
"You were expecting children?!" Reginald gasped at the man. "What? Where?"
The daughters would then grow up to be Ripple and Frost. Their mother took them to the north before they were kidnapped and taken back to the capitol. anwhile, it was around that sa ti that Pentos was hired for the quest to defeat the Azure King.
Their growing popularity has caused trouble to the other guilds because they were the preferred guild than them. It was a curse for the n because then they would have a hard ti trying to build their network.
Thus, the plan to eliminate the Pentos inside the Azure Palace comnced. Only for them to fail because of an accident. Or so they thought.
When Pentos was on their way ho back from the Azure Palace and everyone else was asleep, Francoise walked toward Spencer. He lit a math and sighed.
"I always wondered why I lost my mories and I felt an irk around you guys," Francoise said. "It bothered so much that I asked around who was the one who was left with when the others are away. Everyone swore that they saw you. They thought that they knew that you were there, with Reginald and lissa."
"So?" Spencer smirked. "What’s your point, old man? I never did anything to you and why would I keep anything? You can’t prove that even when you ask the people here at the city."
"That’s the weirdest part, and your biggest miscalculation," Francoise smirked. "You could have fooled and the city, but you could not help the fact that you overestimated Reginald."
"Reginald?" Spencer was silent for a second. He watched the sleeping figure of Reginald before looking back at the old man. "I made no mistakes, old man. It’s just I should have never let you live."
"When Reginald and lissa was out shopping, there was a shop that gave Reginald a bracelet. It even gave lissa one," Francoise said. "But then why would Reginald leave without you wearing his trinkets? He should have given you the sa bracelet, knowing him."
"He just miscalculated the number of bracelets," Spencer said. "That’s your biggest proof? What?"
"You forgot how much you love wearing Reginald’s bracelets. You would not stop talking about it but now you don’t have anything to talk about," Francoise said. "And I don’t know a lot about you, but I know that. Who are you, really, Spencer?"
