Midnight smirked as he slowly approached the trembling woman. "Why are you here? Tell ."

Alice and Gasha knew that Famine was driven to madness. She was a madwoman and would believe in this obvious fake Forsaken.

"The rift in ti in space..." Famine trailed off. "It caused chaos in the Abyss. Everything was misplaced and you..."

She paused and looked down. If it wasn’t for her crazed state, no one would expect that she was charging her powers on her hands. Luckily, she was blinded by her madness that she didn’t realize her powers were manifesting physically.

But its aura was completely hidden.

"You were locked at the Arch of Salvation," Famine yelled. "You’re not the real Forsaken. You’re a fake!"

She launched her attacks by throwing balls of the dark green mist. Everything that ca in contact with it would instantly vanish, and not even rust and age like before.

Midnight hoped that they would get more information from Famine, but it wasn’t the case. She wasn’t fit to hold a conversation with.

Taking her in and locking her up would seem like a good idea, but considering she could make anything vanish with her dark green mist, he opted not to.

"I don’t know what happened to you or what drove you into this mania," Midnight said as he returned to his human form. A black sword was in hand with a thin strip of white light trailing at the middle of the blade. "But I have to help you get your peace."

Famine grit her teeth and growls. "Peace? I don’t know peace. I have always been pressured to look my absolute best, to be beautiful. Well, I’m not beautiful. I was born hideous, grew up hideous, and I will die–"

Before she could finish, the black sword had already pierced her body. She croaked as she felt the cold blade on her chest, piercing her heart that causing it to stop beating.

Midnight stared at her in the eyes, his feminine doll-face was gleaming over Famine’s hideous one. "The most beautiful woman... is a man."

The man smiled and took out the sword, letting Famine’s body fall to the roof and roll down to fall into the ground. But before her body could land, it vanished, slowly into oblivion.

"That was quite dramatic," Midnight chuckled. He threw his sword up which instantly vanished. "Oh, that was the Forsaken Sword. I learned sothing new just now. My morphs. I can either manifest them or create a sword with its powers. Just now, that sword was created by that power."

Alice and Gasha could barely follow what Midnight was saying. They opted not to say anything and just nodded. It wasn’t because they don’t understand. It was because Midnight was exuding a terrifying aura that neither of them could match.

Midnight was truly terrifying.

Elliot was running through the roofs. The sickness, disgust, and hunger that felt just a mont ago had already vanished like a passing wind.

"What was that?" he asked himself as he continue to rush toward the bell tower.

It wasn’t long before he reached the forcefield. He needed to calculate how much area he needed before the effects of Hasty Aspire would vanish so he fired the Lotus Blast to test how wide the forcefield was.

After seeing how big it was, Elliot sighed and raised his sword. He took a couple of ters to charge so he wouldn’t waste the montum of Hasty Aspire.

"I can do this," Elliot said. "I can definitely do this."

With one last deep breath, Elliot closed his eyes to charge his power. "Hasty Aspire tis two hundred!"

His body felt energetic as the powers run through his veins. He felt his feet feel like the air as he slowly ran towards the barrier.

He got closer and closer, just a few inches from the barrier when he saw seven flaming balls reach him. He imdiately blocked all of the attacks with a flash, clashing through each sword with ease.

"What the hell?" Elliot stepped back. "Where did that co from?"

Elliot looked up to see ten Azure Mages at the top of the bell tower. "So that’s where all the Mages went."

They continued to attack Elliot, firing different elental attacks that the boy managed to dodge. It wasn’t hard to avoid or par their attacks, it was difficult because there were so many at once.

"We’ll cover you," Aquarius said from behind him. He was with the ones at the Palace grounds which includes the ones from other kingdoms.

Elliot scrunched his face after seeing the unfamiliar faces. "Who are they?"

"Doesn’t matter," Aquarius said. "Just do what you have to do and we’ll cover you."

Elliot nodded and charge himself again. Aquarius created a giant umbrella made of water. Minos used his skills to charge the water with electricity, creating a net-like shield that blocked the attacks from the mages.

Aquarius then create the path for Elliot, making the water umbrella flow a roof on a hallway-like path.

"You can pass through here," Aquarius said to Elliot. "You should still be careful though. We don’t know what the Mages would do next."

Elliot nodded. "Hasty Aspire tis two hundred!"

After hearing how many stacks the boy was giving himself, Aquarius couldn’t help but worry. "Wouldn’t that strain your body?"

"Nope," Elliot grinned. "I got used to it."

In a flash, the boy vanished. He was running towards the shield and just as expected when he got two ters from it, Hasty Aspire vanished.

"But not my montum," Elliot scread and leaped off of the ground to pierce the shield. He was using all of his powers, screaming as his sword pierced the shield.

It created a cracking sound and cracks appeared all throughout the transparent blue shield. The Azure King looked at the barrier that protected its core.

It seed like its eyes widened before it prepared itself to launch toward the tower.

"Flaming Chains," Frederick cast. He conjured chains that were made of flas, jumping from the ground and binding the Azure King in.

The King let out its Scream of Penitence, canceling out the chains. It growled at Frederick before running toward the Palace and leaped to the roof.

anwhile, Elliot was running toward the bell tower. He was still being rained with all the attacks as he rushed toward the tower. He heard the Scream of Penitence and not long after, saw the Azure King jump to the roof.

"Elliot, it’s coming after you," Irus yelled. He got in front of the Azure King along with the other Behemoths. "We’ll do our best to block it. Run as fast as you can."

It was a race against this giant creature. It was the versus the Azure King, running to the tower where the core was.

The scene at the Azure Palace roof was a complete mania. There were attacks launched one after the other, shields cast over and over again.

Elliot stacked as much Hasty Aspire as he could before he jumped from the roof and into the bell tower where he imdiately slew all the Mages in one second of Enhanced Lotus Blast.

It was like it was in slow motion as he walked forward and into the bell. It was the core. With one single slice, he cut the bell in half, earning them a more powerful Scream of Penitence from the Azure King.
