As the mist cleared around them, a mountain range appeared the next mont.

Only now did everyone realize that they were standing at the foot of the mountain.

In front of them, a towering peak reached into the clouds, disappearing directly into them.

Looking up from the bottom, the view above the clouds seed mysterious and enigmatic.

Could it be that the Immortal Gate is located on this mountain?

Everyone thought of this and couldn’t help but look up, their eyes filled with curiosity.

They estimated that the Immortal Gate was likely on this mountain.

After all, many of the quests before would directly transport them to sowhere near the destination.

While everyone was curious, they saw a person slowly walking toward them from the foot of the mountain.

The newcor was a young man with long hair tied up and a simple wooden hairpin holding the black hair in place; a long Daoist robe fluttered in the wind.

He seed like an ordinary person, but as he approached Zhou Yingting and others, his deanor appeared exceptionally free and easy.

Seeing this scene, everyone’s gaze was imdiately drawn to him.

This person must have co from the Immortal Gate.

In an instant, everyone looked at the young man in front of them and confird this in their hearts.

After all, the bearing he exhibited couldn’t possibly have no connection to the Immortal Gate.

Thinking this, they couldn’t help but have a bit of anticipation in their gaze.

"I am Pingyun, greetings to all."

The young man strode over and made a Daoist salute as he spoke.

Upon hearing this, everyone hurriedly nodded in response.

Compared to his actions, theirs seed sowhat disorganized.

The young man didn’t mind; he simply smiled and said, "It’s fate that you could find your way to our Daoist Sect. Since all are here seeking immortality, we are willing to give you an opportunity."

"Our Daoist Sect is located atop this mountain peak. As long as you can reach the top by any ans, you may enter our Daoist Sect."

Having spoken, the Daoist retreated and then slowly vanished into the mist.

When the mist cleared, the Daoist had already disappeared from sight, and nobody saw his figure on the upward path.

Seeing this scene, everyone was taken aback for a mont and then imdiately began searching the mountain with their eyes.

The test he gave them was simply to reach the peak.

It seed simple, but upon careful thought, it certainly wouldn’t be easy.

If they could see where he went, they might be able to mimic his approach.

However, no matter how much they searched the mountain, they could not catch a glimpse of his figure.

After confirming that he could no longer be seen, everyone furrowed their brows slightly and sighed in resignation.

It seed finding a breakthrough from him was unlikely.

Thinking this way, they stopped dwelling on it.

"He didn’t specify the number of people allowed; with that, it seems we don’t need to compete amongst ourselves,"

Having confird the Daoist’s disappearance, those who previously worried about potential competition now sighed with relief and began to speak.

With this, they could focus their efforts entirely on finding their way up the mountain.

The others nodded in agreent.

While they had said they could cooperate without competing once inside,

deep down they worried about a potential quota that might force them into competition.

They would then need a way to eliminate so individuals to secure a spot for themselves.

It seed they were overthinking it.

This reassured everyone significantly.

Even a few newcors not far away relaxed upon hearing these words.

To them, it seed that if they didn’t need to compete, then as long as they were cautious, they shouldn’t be targeted.

If that’s the case, they should be relatively safe going forward.

Nevertheless, caution was still warranted.

With this mindset, they too began scanning the surroundings, pondering how to ascend the mountain.

anwhile, Zhou Yingting and Song Qingyun exchanged a glance and nodded before heading towards the mountain.

With the task location confird, they could proceed into the mountain.

With this thought, they wished not to waste any ti.

As they moved, everyone else’s gaze was drawn to them. Seeing Zhou Yingting and Song Qingyun heading directly into the mountain, they were montarily stunned.

After gathering themselves, soone asked, "Are you heading into the mountain without preparation? Aren’t you considering which route to take?"

Zhou Yingting looked around and asked curiously, "There seems to be no one else around here; even if we want to ask soone about entering the mountain, there’s no one to ask, right?"

"If that’s so, might as well venture in ourselves to find a path. The task gives plenty of ti; the road up is bound to be hard to find, but we should explore and see."

"By the way, you guys brought food, right?"

As Extraordinary individuals, they had entered quests more than once, so Zhou Yingting estimated these people had likely prepared food supplies.
