Zhou Yingting turned the corner and saw the guest rooms on both sides.

In the middle of the corridor was an old-fashioned decor, with large red lanterns hanging above.

Seeing this scene, Zhou Yingting couldn’t help but furrow his brow.

To be honest, Zhou Yingting actually quite liked traditional decor styles, but at this mont, looking at the red carpet in front of him and the hanging red lanterns...

At the end of the corridor, there was an offering table with a small ornantal tree on it.

No matter how you look at it, this was a very traditional decorative style.

If this were in the past, Zhou Yingting would surely love this style.

But now...

With nobody around the sides of the corridor, Zhou Yingting felt a chill in his heart as he looked.

This thing truly looked creepy; it’s hard to like this kind of thing moving forward.

Seeing the scene around him, Zhou Yingting sighed inwardly, then stepped forward to check the room number.

No. 44, located a bit further inside, and when Zhou Yingting reached the No. 44 room, he imdiately noticed sothing amiss.

A quick glance around suggested that the location of the No. 44 room was directly central, equidistant from both ends.

It’s unclear whether this was intentional or accidental.

Zhou Yingting looked around a bit more, then withdrew his gaze, glanced at the room card in his hand, and promptly placed it on the scanner.

As the room card was placed, there was a beep, and the door unlocked.

Taking a deep breath, Zhou Yingting pushed the door open and walked inside.

As Zhou Yingting entered, everything inside the room was laid out in full view.

It looked like an ancient dressing table as a washbasin, the windows also had a classical style, and most of the materials used were wood.

Fortunately, there was nothing strange visible inside the room, which allowed Zhou Yingting to relax temporarily.

"Creak..."

At that mont, while still at the door, a creak sound ca from the adjacent room.

Judging from the sound, it seed like soone in the next room was coming out.

However, whether the figure coming out was human was anyone’s guess.

Hearing the sound, Zhou Yingting instinctively looked towards the source of the noise while quickly stepping deeper into the room.

Though he didn’t know whether it was a human coming out, Zhou Yingting dared not make contact.

As Zhou Yingting walked into the room, the periphery of his vision caught sight of the figure erging from that room.

The first thing revealed to Zhou Yingting by the entity was an exceedingly slender, fair hand.

Followed by legs longer than life itself.

What Zhou Yingting saw was just this much; he was already inside the room.

But from what he had just glimpsed, it appeared the person was a woman.

"Could it be a female ghost?"

Zhou Yingting pondered for a mont, but soon discarded the notion from his mind and began examining the items inside the room.

The entire room’s arrangent showed considerable care.

Putting aside the notion of this being a Horror Dungeon, there were actually no faults to find with the hotel’s decor.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to put it aside...

Zhou Yingting looked around but couldn’t find anything amiss, so he started searching the table nearby.

From his experience in other hotels, so have a manual or guidelines, ntioning the rules and regulations for staying.

Zhou Yingting wanted to check if the hotel had such docuntation.

If it exists, it would be the hotel’s rules.

Since he entered, Zhou Yingting had yet to understand what the hotel’s rules were.

Continuing like this might invite trouble.

Searching through the cabinets nearby didn’t reveal any guidelines or "rules of stay."

It seed the hotel didn’t provide such materials.

Was this intentional?

Not willing to give up, Zhou Yingting continued searching around, but the result remained the sa.

"Should I ask the hotel staff?"

His gaze fell onto the telephone nearby, wondering whether to call for inquiry.

After hesitating for a mont, Zhou Yingting picked up the telephone.

While preparing to dial, he glanced at a small note nearby.

Usually, there’s a note with the front desk number near the phone.

After laying eyes on the note, Zhou Yingting promptly noticed the telephone number on it.

Following the note, he placed his finger on the number.

But before finishing, Zhou Yingting froze; there was another line of tiny text on the note.

If one didn’t pay attention, it could easily be overlooked.

Seeing this, Zhou Yingting imdiately stopped dialing to focus on the small font beside the number.

"Dialing the front desk number, please heed precautions."

Precautions? What precautions?

Startled, Zhou Yingting didn’t understand the enigmatic ssage.

These sudden precaution instructions left him clueless.

No surrounding texts specified what precautions to take.
