Wham.
Lukas unleashed a lightning strike at Risa.
The flash of lightning shot at Risa, but before it hit, Risa’s hand emitted an orange glow, and his energy pulse collided with Lukas’s lightning strike.
Boom!
An explosion ensued.
Risa and Peter Lim slid back from the shock wave.
Cough.
Peter Lim wasn’t as powerful as Risa, and he had coughed up blood from the injuries he sustained from the explosion.
Standing beside him, Risa’s body had a translucent energy field engulfing it.
"Get back," Risa said, and Peter Lim quickly scurried back into the hidden dark room.
Risa then raised his right hand again.
This ti, however, Lukas was ready.
He unleashed two lightning strikes at Risa before Risa could shoot the energy pulse at Lukas.
Wham.
His lightning strikes hit, but the energy field surrounding Risa’s body shimred a little after absorbing the lightning strike.
Seeing this, Lukas unleashed another two lightning strikes at Risa.
Boom.
One of the lightning strikes collided with the energy pulse that Risa was finally able to shoot at Lukas.
The other lightning strike hit, and the energy field surrounding Risa’s body shimred for a longer duration.
Lukas saw the difference and thought that he might be close to being able to break down the energy field.
Risa smirked at Lukas, but at the very next mont, he saw his view change, and soon he was looking at the ceiling.
Lukas had yanked him off his feet with his shadow wielder ability.
Thud.
A fist ca at his head, and Risa quickly tilted his head to the side.
He could hear the booming of the air when the fist went past his cheeks and sliced it open.
Lukas had lunged on top of him.
The next mont, Lukas placed both of his palms right at Risa’s head, as close as he could get to the energy field.
Flickers of bright light appeared, and it gave out a blinding flash when Lukas unleashed his lightning strikes at close range.
Boom.
The energy field couldn’t hold anymore; it shimred for a mont, and an explosion ensued.
Lukas saw the head of Risa rolling away.
He quickly leaped away when he felt Risa’s hands coming at his neck.
Two chanical snakes shot out from the palms of Risa’s hands this ti, and the chanical snakes missed by re inches.
Lukas couldn’t believe it when he saw the head of Risa had small chanical legs coming out from the severed point on the neck.
The chanical legs then moved like spider’s legs and got Risa’s head upright.
Risa’s left eye glowed brightly, and Lukas quickly rolled to the side.
Buzz.
A pulse of red laser shot out from Risa’s eyes, burning right through Peter Lim’s office wall.
The two chanical snakes slithered towards Lukas and opened their mouths with a syringe inside.
Before they could dart towards Lukas, a white glow engulfed them, and they stopped moving.
It was Harianto using his ability, trying to take control of the chanical snakes.
However, Harianto was having a hard ti doing it.
Even though Risa and Harianto had the sa ability, Risa was SSS Level and at Master Level of Mastery.
Far above Harianto’s SS Level and Adept Level of Mastery.
Risa’s head tried to get back to its body, but it realized that it couldn’t.
Lukas had used his shadow to grab onto the shadow of Risa’s head.
He then used all his strength and slamd Risa’s head against the wall.
Thud.
Risa’s head crashed into the wall, and so chanical parts dropped out from the head.
Using his shadow, Lukas pulled the head out of the wall and smashed it again into the wall.
Thud.
More chanical parts dropped out of the head.
The body of Risa moved and lunged at Lukas.
Wham.
Lukas quickly unleashed two lightning strikes at it.
The lightning strikes hit, and the body of Risa was blown into pieces.
However, Lukas stayed cautious as he didn’t hear the notification from the system in his head.
Risa wasn’t dead yet.
His body, strewn around on the ground, which was flesh and blood mixed with electronics and chanical pieces, started moving on its own.
Lukas placed his hands onto the ground, and ice extended from his hands towards Risa’s body parts.
Thud.
Suddenly, a fist shot at Lukas like a bullet from within the hidden dark room.
It hit, giving a loud thud, and Lukas tried to grab onto the fist with his hands.
The fist slipped past the fingers of Lukas as Leeroy had retracted his stretched rubbery hands imdiately.
"Quit playing around, old man," Leeroy’s voice bood as he appeared out from the hidden dark room.
Ashen was getting impatient waiting for Risa before leaving.
The head of Risa disintegrated into smaller pieces and dropped onto the ground.
All the parts then flew next to Leeroy and assembled back together.
However, a portion of the parts were gone.
The head of Risa was missing a portion of his head at his right temple.
The chanical parts were destroyed by Lukas’s lightning strikes and smashing of his head onto the wall.
Lukas glanced over at Harianto and saw that he had finally taken control of the chanical snakes.
"Use these snakes to get to the hidden dark room," he spoke softly into his earbuds, and Harianto nodded.
The next mont, Lukas lunged at Leeroy and Risa.
Whip.
Leeroy whipped and hurled both his hands at Lukas.
They hit, and Lukas’s ribcage gave out a loud crack as it fractured.
Lukas slid a few feet back from the impact.
However, he ignored the pain and leaped towards Leeroy and Risa again.
He held his hands at Leeroy and Risa’s eyes.
The bright flash from the lightning strikes he unleashed blinded them temporarily.
"Damn you!" Leeroy swung his arms and whipped his stretched-out arms in the direction of Lukas.
Risa, next to Leeroy, raised his hand and shot an energy pulse at Lukas blindly.
Their attacks missed as Lukas had leaped back.
When the energy pulse hit the wall, an explosion occurred.
anwhile, as Leeroy and Risa were dealing with Lukas, the two chanical snakes slithered past them through the ceiling and got into the back of the hidden dark room.
