Lukas saw the skeletons coming together again and was surprised.
He lunged at them and with his shadow, swept them off their feet onto the ground.
Crack.
Punching his fist onto one of the skeleton’s skulls, the skull broke into pieces.
The skeleton didn’t stop moving.
And it grabbed onto Lukas’s feet.
Lukas quickly stomped onto its hand and smashed the skeletal hand into pieces.
The other skeletons on the ground also ca crawling at Lukas.
He leaped away and saw that the smashed skull and skeletal hand of the skeleton had rged back together.
"Shiba, find the man behind the skeletons and kill him." Lukas used his SSS Level Summoner ability and sent out his thoughts to Shiba.
He figured the only way to make these skeletons stop was to kill the man who had summoned them.
Shiba nodded and it began to search in the woods for the man behind the skeletons.
Boom.
The hardened earth cocoon broke into pieces and the debris flew into the air.
Rock slowly stood up as he wiped the blood off his nose and looked up.
"I swear I’ll make you pay for it," he said as he stared at Lukas.
He turned around and shouted, "Techno, I swear I’ll rip your skin off if you don’t..."
When the smoke cleared and the reality of what happened to Techno hit him.
He could see Techno’s head was on the ground, not far away from Techno’s body.
They should have finished Lukas off easily and been enjoying their usual beer at the bar by 3PM, Rock thought to himself in disbelief.
But right now, the Brad brothers were dead and so was Techno.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
Who the hell is this young man?
Rock gritted his teeth and clenched his fist as anger surged within him. He turned toward Lukas.
The earth on the ground trembled and the soil rose into the air.
Layer by layer, the soil covered Rock’s body and hardened itself.
Soon, Rock was covered in armor made up of hardened earth.
Rock gave out a huge roar and charged at Lukas.
Lukas saw Rock coming at him from the front and he stole a glance at his back.
The skeletons were also coming for him from behind.
He waited for Rock and the skeletons to get closer.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
The earth shook with Rock taking every step in his heavy armor.
Three...
Two...
One more step.
Lukas focused on the distance and thought to himself silently.
He leaped to the side and dodged Rock’s charge in the nick of ti.
The skeletons were also inches from him before he leapt.
Crumble.
Rock charged into the mass of skeletons and the skeletons crumbled into pieces.
Lukas took this opportunity to lunge in and punch at Rock’s body.
Crack.
His punch was stopped by Rock’s armor, and only so cracks appeared on the armor.
Lukas followed with a swift uppercut aid at Rock’s chin.
The armor covering Rock’s chin wasn’t as thick and Lukas’s uppercut broke off pieces of the armor.
The impact from his punch also made Rock’s head fling back.
Lukas saw an opening as it exposed Rock’s neck.
He grabbed onto Rock’s throat and tightened his grip.
Smash.
Rock smashed his arm covered in heavy armor at Lukas’s head to try and get away.
Crimson flowed down onto Lukas’s face from the wound inflicted by Rock, but he endured the pain and didn’t let go.
Rock’s eyes opened wide when he saw what happened next.
The wound on Lukas’s head slowly closed up and had miraculously healed.
The only thing left was the trail of blood that had flowed down from the wound.
"It can’t be," Rock thought to himself in astonishnt.
He raised his arms and tried to smash them at Lukas again.
This ti his arms stopped halfway.
Lukas’s shadow had held onto the shadow of Rock’s arm.
Rock squird in pain as Lukas was a mont away from ripping Rock’s throat out of his neck.
Splatter.
The skeletons ca from behind and they stabbed their sharp fingers into Lukas’s back.
Blood splattered onto the ground.
So of the skeletons then tried to pull Lukas’s hand away from Rock’s throat.
They stabbed their sharp fingers into Lukas’s arm and tried to pull his fingers back.
...
anwhile, Shiba sniffed in the air, and finally it detected the sll of a human nearby.
It ran as fast as it could in the direction.
Skull was hiding behind the trees and using his summoned skeletons to deal with Lukas from where he was.
Beads of sweat dripped from his forehead as he focused on commanding the skeletons.
He had summoned the maximum number of skeletons and this took a huge toll on him.
He was full of regret now.
Accepting the job from Pak Soon Hyun was a huge mistake.
They’d dealt with SSS Level awakened before and succeeded in killing them off.
But Lukas turned out to be sothing else.
As these thoughts went through his mind, he heard a rustling sound from behind.
He imdiately turned and took a glance.
Skull couldn’t believe it when he saw Shiba charging at him with its huge mouth wide open.
He rolled to the side and Shiba missed by an inch.
Tremble.
Shiba bit off the trunk of the tree that Skull was hiding behind and the tree fell.
Ptui.
After it spat out the tree trunk, Shiba turned and lunged at Skull again.
Skull drew out his pistol and shot at Shiba.
The result was the sa as before and the bullets skimd off the scaly skin of Shiba.
Skull then took out a hand grenade, disard the safety and threw it at Shiba.
He didn’t wait for it to explode and ran away as fast as he could.
Shiba snapped the hand grenade out of the air and swallowed it.
It gave chase with its mouth wide open.
An amber glow appeared in Shiba’s mouth just like Techno’s cannon.
Boom!
Shiba shot at Skull with the plasma shot.
The shot destroyed everything in its path.
As the shot blasted forward, trees fell one by one, leaving behind a trail of devastation.
Skull tried to leap away but his arm got caught by the plasma shot.
Plop.
He fell onto the ground and twitched around in pain.
