Emma was struck by a Fire Deer, and its antler had plunged into her waist.

She tried her best to blow out poison at the Fire Deer.

But it had no effect on the Fire Deer as it didn’t feel any pain as the poison burned through its skin and flesh.

Another Fire Deer charged at Emma from the side.

Crack.

A rock wall rose from the ground.

Rex, who was on the other side, wanted to hurl a rock spike at the Fire Deer but couldn’t.

Two ice wolves lunged at him, trying to take a bite at both of his wrists.

They succeeded and their fangs created cracks on the rocks covering Rex’s body.

Wham.

Riley unleashed a lightning strike at one of the ice wolves and it split the body of the ice wolf into halves.

However, the upper body of the ice wolf didn’t let go and its fangs crunched through the rock covering Rex’s wrist.

"Argh." Blood dripped onto the ground as Rex swung his arms, trying to get the ice wolf off his wrist.

It was no use.

Harianto tried to aim at the ice wolf but couldn’t with Rex flailing his arms.

"Keep still," Harianto shouted.

Rex stopped and Harianto shot a plasma shot at the ice wolf.

Splatter.

It hit one of the ice wolves and continued its trajectory, taking out the other one at the sa ti.

But it was no ti for any breather as more ice wolves ca at Rex.

Lukas lunged at the Fire Deer that was now shaking its head, trying to cause more damage to Emma’s wound.

Splatter.

His punch ripped the body of the Fire Deer apart, and he grabbed onto the antler of the Fire Deer and broke it with his hands.

The upper body of the Fire Deer dropped onto the ground.

Lukas lifted his foot and stomped on its head.

His foot crushed the head of the Fire Deer, and it was smashed into a mangled mass of rotten flesh and cracked bones.

"Go find Margaret," Lukas shouted and turned toward the other Fire Deer coming at him from the side.

Emma wanted to stay and help, but the loss of blood had made her feel giddy.

She knew that she had to stop the bleeding and heal herself.

Clonk.

Lukas threw out the smoke grenades he had in his Darkmatter Vault Armor in a row, leading towards the armored van.

Smoke filled the air and soon, he and Emma were engulfed behind it.

Emma gritted her teeth and made a dash for it.

The Fire Deer started to shoot out fireballs in all directions blindly.

One of them hit Emma’s arm and the green glowing fireball latched onto it and burned through her skin and flesh.

She gritted her teeth and continued her way towards Margaret.

Her vision blurred as she got closer.

Emma was using her instinct to keep running as she felt herself slowly losing consciousness.

Just as she was about to pass out, Margaret’s hand held onto her.

Margaret imdiately put Emma down onto the ground and placed her hands onto Emma’s waist and arm.

White glow appeared on her hands, and it started to heal Emma’s wounds.

...

Wham!

Lukas unleashed his lightning strikes at the last remaining Fire Deer.

They splattered into pieces; rotten flesh and bones of the Fire Deer were strewn all over the snowy ground.

He turned over and focused on what was happening over at Rex’s side.

Rex was being pulled down onto the ground by a few Ice Wolves.

Harianto had transford the plasma cannon on his arms into plasma swords.

With the plasma swords, he was hacking and slicing the Ice Wolves apart.

The tide was turning.

Lukas lunged at the remaining Ice Wolves which were trying to get past Riley.

Thud.

He kicked an Ice Wolf, sending it tumbling across the snowy plain.

Another Ice Wolf leaped and snapped at his neck.

But it was imdiately stopped by an ice spike that shot at it from above.

The ice spike plunged through the head of the Ice Wolf, nailing it to the ground.

Lukas then pulled an Ice Wolf with his shadow wielder ability, smashing it into the other Ice Wolves.

He raised his hands with flickers of lightning flashing.

Wham.

Lightning strikes landed one after another at the group of Ice Wolves.

And by the end of it, a small crater was created from all the lightning strikes unleashed by Lukas.

A familiar sound erupted in Lukas’s mind.

[Ding!]

[Slaughter Points 5000]

[Current Slaughter Points: 19000/20000]

[Host Level: 5]

[Current Abilities: 5]

Riley sat onto the ground and wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead.

He was exhausted from unleashing so many lightning strikes.

It was the sa for Rex, Emma and Harianto.

They were all tired from using so much of their ability.

When they saw Lukas looking energetic after the long battle, they had the sa thought in their minds.

They needed to beco stronger.

Riley, Rex, Emma and Harianto’s abilities were now too far apart from Lukas, and they didn’t want to be the ones dragging him down.

It was ti for them to focus on getting to Expert Level of Mastery when they got to the South Battle Administration Area.

"And I thought Rex slled bad," Riley said as he pinched his nostrils with his fingers.

"Both can be true, you know," Lukas said and shrugged.

Emma, Margaret and Dr. Uwe then ca over.

After being healed by Margaret, Emma’s wounds were mostly healed and just needed so ti and rest for them to fully heal.

"I could hear that, you know," Rex ca over and grumbled at Riley.

Riley shrugged and tried to brush his long blue hair.

But he couldn’t.

By now, their disguise had worn off and they were back to looking the way they were.

"You are injured too. Let heal you."

Margaret saw the wounds on Rex, and she proceeded to help him heal the wounds.

As they waited, Riley made another call to Rodney.

"We are done now. There were so undead demonic beasts that appeared out of nowhere," Riley said.

"That’s great news. You got worried for a mont. The plane should be arriving at any mont," Rodney replied.

When Rodney finished his sentence, a loud boom could be heard in the sky.

Everyone looked up and saw a plane engulfed in a blue glow hovering above them, slowly descending.
