Sylas looked at Kael for a while; his eyes had slowly started to glitter with excitent. "Our ho, mister?"

A bright smile tugged on Sylas’s lips as he leaned closer towards Kael. "Are we going to live in such a huge ho from now on?"

Kael didn’t say anything for a while and let Sylas have his mont of excitent. But then he patted his head lightly, as if he was trying to show his affection towards him without saying any words. "Yes, we’ll live here from now on."

Kael started walking toward the door, and the mont he reached it, his mana pushed the door open on its own.

When they entered, Sylas saw huge trees planted throughout the front garden. Beyond it stood the entrance to a large mansion that looked nothing less than the residence of an aristocrat.

There were several windows along the front wall, and when they stepped inside the mansion, he noticed that it was already fully furnished for them to use. A staircase also led to the first floor.

"Mister, did you build it?" Sylas’s head shifted towards Kael, his eyes were glimring with happiness, as he asked.

Kael shook his head lightly and muttered. "No, it was already there, kid."

A bright smile, which seed a little too pure, appeared on Sylas’s face. "Hehe, yes, it really was."

Kael smiled a bit and then let Sylas be on his own. "You can move freely, go and play, Sylas."

Sylas looked at him for a second, and then his gaze turned towards the trees in the garden. Without wasting any other second, he started running towards the tree that had a few berries on it.

"He surely is a kid, getting tempted by fresh fruits."

"But it’s a bit nice for him to go and eat fruits, it’ll be nice for his health."

Kael’s words suddenly stopped, as a bead of sweat appeared on his temple. A bunch of thoughts started to rampage inside his mind.

’Wait... did I just talk like a parent?’

He let a sigh pass through his mouth. "I guess that’s what fate wants from ."

"A random child ca into my life as soon as I got unsealed; it’s not a re coincidence."

His gaze turned towards his palm as he clutched it tightly. "I have to forget my past and move on if I want to live a peaceful life without any disturbance."

He closed his eyes for a second and then took a deep breath. "Let’s not think about sothing which has already been done."

"I have to earn so money if I want to raise a kid."

He simply stood there for a while, his arms crossed over his chest, as his gaze remained fixed on Sylas, who was still playing.

He made his way towards Sylas and said. "Kid, I’m going outside for a while, so just remain inside while I’m out, okay?"

Sylas looked at Kael, his eyes had started to fill up with tears. "M-mister, are you leaving alone? Did I... Did I do sothing wrong?" His voice stuttered; even slight cries were audible from his voice.

Kael leaned in lightly as he patted the head of Sylas. "No, I’m not going to leave you alone, so don’t worry about it."

"I’m just going outside to get so money and food for us, so be a good kid while I’m gone."

Sylas raised his tiny hands and rubbed his tears with the back of his hand. "Mister... can you please take with you?" He said with a smile on his face, which looked more forced than genuine.

He simply looked at Sylas, but then, without saying anything, he lifted Sylas in the air and hugged him. "Yes, let’s go."

Kael left the ho as he shut the door with a loud BANG. He made his way towards the city, eyes noticing even a sliver of detail around him.

When he reached inside the city, he noticed that there was a small group of people who seed to be standing next to sothing while circling it completely.

Loud murmurs of people had filled the air completely.

"You low life, how dare you show your face around here?"

"A person of low standard like you dares co in here and purchase sothing from us?"

So of them were shouting at the person, and so were gossiping between themselves.

"Mister, what’s going on there?" A curious look appeared on Sylas’s face as he tilted his head lightly.

"I also don’t know, Sylas."

’A Low-Life? These guys are still the sa, doing discrimination towards soone and thinking that they’re so kind of great.’

He made his way towards the group and was about to pass silently, but he overheard sothing that he shouldn’t have.

"P-please... let go, I just wanted to purchase so food."

Kael’s gaze shifted toward the group as he made his way toward the person to whom the voice belonged.

He noticed that the person before him was sitting miserably on the ground. Silver hair fell over the tear-filled eyes of the sa color, while his pale skin looked far too fair for soone from this area.

’Now I can fathom what’s happening currently.’

’This person doesn’t look like he’s from here, and he looks better than them all.’

He was about to turn away and move, but before he could do so, a soothing voice fell inside his ears.

"Mister, I don’t like it." Sylas sniffed softly, looking as though he might burst into tears at any second.

"What do you not like, Sylas?" Kael asked, his voice remained stiff as usual.

He pointed his finger towards the dirt-covered man who was sitting on the floor. "I don’t like it... the way those people are treating that mister over there."
