Federal Calendar 7709, January 3, just past midnight.

Dusk Star Domain.

Resource Planet 17, Clear Mine City Lower District, Sin Street.

At that mont, Loren was standing at the door of his agency, watching the young Druid in the green cloak walk away, his expression oddly distant.

After delivering the Divine Oracle personally sent by the Moonlight Goddess, the young Druid nad Rysso Pepeian had politely taken her leave.

This young lady, already a Sixth-Tier Druid at such a tender age, seed to trust others very easily.

Under Loren’s act of pretending to be a reliable senior, she had already taken him for a highly respected elder in the sect.

Clearly, she had no idea that she had quietly walked away from the edge of death.

Perhaps that was the real reason the Moonlight Goddess chose her to deliver the oracle.

Her innocence and simplicity ant she would not provoke those who act radically.

Especially on such a sensitive matter...

At that mont, Loren was standing at the agency door, watching the young Druid in the green cloak walk away, his expression oddly distant.

Raven, did you notice?

It looks like we’re now Grand Druids of the Nature Sect...

The way things have developed is truly unexpected...

Just as Loren was still marveling inwardly.

Rysso Pepeian, who had walked to the corner so distance away, as if sensing Loren’s gaze from behind, suddenly turned toward Loren, waved enthusiastically, and shouted loudly:

“Grand Druid Loren, see you next ti!!!”

“Please rest assured, I will definitely protect this planet’s natural environnt!!!”

“I will never slack off!!!”

“May Nature bless you!!!”

Seeing this, Loren froze for a mont.

Then he shook his head and chuckled, lightly tipped his hat toward the innocent young lady in the distance, and spoke softly:

“You too, young Druid.”

When Rysso saw Loren lift his hat slightly, her smile grew even brighter.

She waved to Loren once more before reluctantly leaving the area called Sin Street.

Loren watched her silhouette disappear around the corner, his thoughts drifting, standing silent for a long while.

Would she stand behind ? Interesting...

After a while.

Loren, standing at the agency door, instinctively glanced up at the night sky.

Above, the bright moon shone clearly.

Stars dotted the heavens.

After silently staring for a while, he shook his head in a strange way, withdrew his gaze, and expressionlessly closed the agency door.

Why do I have this weird illusion that I joined a very pure organization...

Carrying this utterly absurd feeling, Loren walked to the agency sofa and lay down.

He stared at the agency ceiling and went into a daze alone.

An illusion, it must be an illusion...

How could an organization that once beat back the Energy Departnt’s violent squads be such a pure group...

He subconsciously recalled every mber of the Nature Sect he had t.

Then...

Loren felt this might not be his illusion.

Hm...

Under the protection of two powerful Gods, this possibility was not impossible...

What is the point of the brain? Charge ahead...

Thinking this, Loren suddenly felt as if he had discovered the Nature Sect’s “underlying logic.”

And this chain of logic was very tight.

Because they are powerful, they are pure.

Because they are pure, they charge recklessly.

And charging recklessly causes a lot of trouble, so they must be powerful...

In the end, the Nature Sect beca what he had co to understand...

Realizing this, Loren lay on the sofa and could not help but laugh out loud.

So, they’re a bunch of pure folks who wield great power?

That’s really going to be troubleso...

Recalling the Nature Sect’s general reputation, Loren silently reached that conclusion.

Suddenly.

Loren’s laughter stopped.

Lying on the sofa, he turned his head and looked toward the agency door.

Preparing to rest, he complained in a tone full of grievance:

“Nights are for resting, not for visiting others, rember that for ...”

“This is very presumptuous...”

No sooner had the resentful words fallen than the agency door was knocked again.

Bang, bang, bang.

Three very rhythmic knocks sounded in Loren’s ears.

Clearly, just as he was complaining about the Nature Sect’s conduct, another visitor had arrived outside the agency door.

Loren sat up from the sofa and called toward the door in an unfriendly tone:

“Co in!”

As soon as he spoke, the agency door was pushed open.

An elegant silver-haired old man strolled in at an unhurried pace.

“My dear Chief.”

“If you have no business, then tomorrow morning a complaint about you embezzling association funds will appear at the Interstellar Hunter Association headquarters.”

Loren rose from the sofa and, looking at the old man who had been embezzling association funds to pay for his grandson’s cha university, spoke in a threatening tone.

Upon hearing this, the once-elegant silver-haired old man imdiately displayed an embarrassed look.

He hastily made a shushing gesture with his hand toward Loren.

Then he quickly pulled a red communicator from his coat pocket and tossed it to Loren.

Loren reached out and caught the communicator.

At that mont.

A calm, serious female voice ca from the red communicator:

“All right, I have received the complaint. I will dispatch personnel to conduct a special investigation.”

When the voice finished, the silver-haired old man looked at Loren with a resentful expression and quietly raised a hand to clutch his chest.

Is that necessary? It’s just letting you sleep on the sofa for a month...

Loren pretended not to see the old man’s expression. He stared at the red communicator in his hand, tilted his head, and tried to recall.

This voice — was it the mysterious First Secretary?

“Anything?” Loren asked the communicator.

“Mm, two matters.”

“First, you have received your special pardon, right?”

“I have.” Loren’s tone was flat.

At Loren’s answer, the red communicator produced another voice:

“Then, on behalf of the entire Interstellar Hunter Association, welco back, Loren.”

“And your authority within the Interstellar Hunter Association has been adjusted from Legendary authority to Demigod authority.”

Loren rely shrugged silently.

“And the second matter?”

After a few seconds of silence, the red communicator spoke again:

“I need to inquire and confirm your attitude toward the Resistance.”

“Are there Association people inside the Resistance?” Loren’s tone turned sowhat playful.
