The Snake King Phantom Profound Beast never expected this group of seemingly ordinary young people to fight like madn. Normally, even a peak Divine Cultivator struggles to break through his solid energy scales, yet these young humans of only Divine Cultivation Third and Fourth Grade can shatter several scales with a single punch.
After a bout of righteous beating, the Snake King’s corpse turned into points of light and vanished. Since only a few participated in the kill, many completed upgrades directly due to a surge of imnse energy.
"Amazing, this Snake King is an absolute boon!"
"Not just for a year or half year, even in ten days or eight months, our strength can rocket up!"
Everyone revealed excited expressions; for them, individually killing such a Snake King was not difficult. In this Endless Land, similar Phantom Profound Beasts must abound, making this truly a pri training ground.
With the Snake King slain, the other Phantom Profound Beasts imdiately scattered and fled without a leader.
Zhang nglong flicked an energy spike from his finger towards a small snake, causing its body to crumble with a miserable shriek.
"Tsk tsk tsk, this old sneaky bastard of a Clan Leader, holds grudges like nothing else!"
"Won’t even spare underage Phantom Profound Beasts, truly amazing."
"Just saying, if it weren’t for that little Phantom Profound Beast, we wouldn’t have had so many prey!"
"Huh? What underage?"
...
"Alright, stop ssing around," Zhang nglong said, "Now that we’re in this place, let’s be a bit cautious. What happened earlier serves as a reminder; in the Endless Land, don’t harbor naive thoughts. When you encounter Phantom Profound Beasts, kill them imdiately, show no pity."
"Boss, this place seems pretty big, where do we go to find people?" soone asked.
"How would I know," Zhang nglong rolled his eyes, as if anyone wasn’t here for the first ti too. He didn’t know where to find living people either.
"Let’s head in a direction," Zhang nglong suggested, "The Sect Master said, a large number of people were once trapped in the Endless Land, and the survivor ntioned many human settlents being established here, we are bound to encounter them."
"Hm, isn’t there one now?" Zhang nglong suddenly sensed a faint energy fluctuation; though very subtle, it was still captured, far away and seemingly engaged in a fierce battle.
"Let’s go check it out, maybe we’ll quickly see living people!" Zhang nglong imdiately flew rapidly towards the direction of the energy.
After flying for about ten minutes, they finally reached the source of this energy.
Zhang nglong initially thought it must be a human soloing a Phantom Profound Beast, but surprisingly it wasn’t; it was two humans locked in intense combat!
One looked like a man in his thirties, his eyes were red, appearing possessed, and his opponent turned out to be a youth with the appearance of twelve or thirteen years old, both realms around Divine Cultivation Fifth Grade.
Zhang nglong could sense, that the middle-aged man just looked this age, but his life aura was already very old, whereas the youth was probably only over a hundred years old. At this youth’s age, his realm and strength would definitely warrant being captured for research outside!
"Clan Leader, isn’t that person going crazy?" Everyone observed the middle-aged man, who seed to fight using beast-like instincts rather than his consciousness.
However, Zhang nglong was more concerned about the youth, because Zhang nglong surprisingly didn’t feel the kind of aura infected by Phantom Profound Beast’s power from him!
For soone his age to have such cultivation, it’s absolutely impossible for him to hunt Phantom Profound Beasts, yet the mory fragnts from Phantom Profound Beasts hadn’t affected him!
The middle-aged man’s realm was slightly stronger than the youth’s, and entering this frenzied state made him extrely ferocious. The youth was gradually falling into the disadvantage, seemingly about to be defeated within minutes.
"Go help out!" Zhang nglong said to Wu Yang beside him.
"Alright!" Wu Yang was one of Zhang nglong’s key mbers in the Shamate Clan, also the only Martial Artist to advance to Divine Cultivation Fifth Grade currently.
He flickered, directly appearing between the youth and the middle-aged man.
A violent aura surged on the middle-aged man, the muscles on his arm exuding the sa purplish-red hue. He raised a fist and launched it at the face of the suddenly appearing young man.
Equally at Divine Cultivation Fifth Grade, Wu Yang rely extended a finger to block the punch.
"Aweso!" The youth’s eyes flashed with astonishnt, the middle-aged man’s punch had imnse impact; each ti he blocked it, his arm was left in pain, yet Wu Yang managed with ease.
However, the middle-aged man didn’t decide to stop there, just as he was intent on launching another attack, Wu Yang’s punch landed first on his chest.
"Boom!" He was knocked down from the air, heavily crashing onto the ground. This punch probably broke three of his ribs, making it hard for him to get up in the short term.
"Forget it, stay quiet for a while!" Wu Yang followed up with a high-pound pressing, kneeing at his head. If he hadn’t held back a little, the middle-aged man absolutely wouldn’t survive.
But this was enough to render him completely unable to resist; his eyes rolled back, with the bloodshot fading, he fell into unconsciousness.
"Hey, did you get hurt?" Wu Yang turned to the boy.
"I... I’m fine..." The boy spoke a language they could understand, "Thank you for your assistance."
Despite the boy’s fierce combat with the middle-aged man earlier, he was already over-exerting himself to barely fend off attacks. In a few more minutes, he might have lost, fortunately Wu Yang tily intervention allowed him to feel aches and slight fatigue now.
"No need to thank , it was our boss who asked to help you." Seeing the boy seed okay, Wu Yang promptly beckoned Zhang nglong and others over.
"This is my boss." Wu Yang introduced.
"Thank you." The boy politely expressed gratitude.
"You’re welco; we happened to notice a fight here, saving you was just incidental."
"Oh, I’m Gu Xiao, these are my mates, and the one who just rescued you is Wu Yang." Zhang nglong could tell this young man was likely easy to communicate with, perhaps he could gather useful information from the youth.
"You can call Doji."
"Doji, why did that person attack you?" Zhang nglong inquired.
"Hm?" Doji was stunned, like the question seed strange to him as if soone asked him why 1 1 equals 2.
"Is my question odd?" Zhang nglong noticed his puzzled expression.
"Yes, Gu Xiao big brother," Doji replied, "They’re all Fallen Ones; attacking us is normal."
"Fallen Ones?" Zhang nglong exchanged glances with others, instantly clueness on four faces.
Doji suddenly assessed them from head to toe, having a bold thought, "Gu Xiao big brother, aren’t you folks from outside the Endless Land?"
"Ah? That obvious?" Zhang nglong scratched his head, "Caught us, how embarrassing!"
