Chapter 834: Chapter 832: He Is a Big Shot
"What did you say?" The faces of the three young n changed instantly.
They were all suitors of the Shayana sisters. Although their backgrounds were quite different compared to the Lords of the Androda Civilization, they were definitely at the top of the pyramid.
But Ireel was rely the youngest son of a Level Two Lord. In their eyes, his status was almost the sa as that of a common person. What kind of big figures could he possibly know?
How dare he say such arrogant things in their presence?
"Nothing much, I said I never consider background or money when making friends," Zhang nglong said, "After all, it won’t match mine in terms of background or money, so there’s no need for you to be so self-conscious."
The three were instantly dumbfounded. Ireel had just introduced the three of them, and in Level Three Civilization, they were considered wealthy and powerful. Could this young man possibly co from Level Four or even Level Five civilization?
But Zhang nglong’s simple and almost pathetic attire didn’t look like it belonged to soone at that level of cosmic society.
"I wonder which Level Five civilization this friend cos from?" Kiradel said with a sharp sarcasm.
"My hotown is a Level One civilization, you wouldn’t know it even if I told you," Zhang nglong replied with a smile.
"Level One civilization? Hahaha!"
"Ireel, you are the son of a Level Two civilization lord, how can you be pals with soone from a Level One civilization?"
"You really are a big shot, we certainly don’t deserve to be friends with people like you."
The three sneered at Zhang nglong; Level One civilization? That’s hardly different from being a slave. So slaves from advanced civilizations are even more noble than that.
"Hello, my na is Shayana, nice to et you." Unexpectedly, Shayana made a gesture towards Zhang nglong, which was akin to a handshake in Androda, signifying friendliness.
"I’m Zhang nglong, a friend of Ireel. You’re quite different from them," Zhang nglong smiled, "No wonder Ireel likes you!"
"Brother Zhang, what are you talking about?" Ireel was suddenly anxious, and Shayana’s face turned slightly red.
"Young lads, why so shy?" Zhang nglong said disdainfully, "The girls are more forthright than you!"
"The exhibition hasn’t started yet, interested in wandering around with us?" Zhang nglong invited.
"No..." Kiradel and the others were about to refuse; after all, they were pursuing the Shayana sisters. How could they want other males to join in?
But unexpectedly, Shayana agreed readily, "Sure! The more the rrier."
Zhang nglong intentionally nudged Ireel to Shayana’s side, "I can only help you this far, buddy."
"What’s going on?" Seeing Shayana’s proactive deanor, the three young n could only follow along with the Shayana sisters.
"Where should we go first?" Shayana asked.
"Let
check," Ireel opened the map. The entire exhibition’s map was intricately detailed, allowing them to directly select a place to go, or find a corresponding area by specifying a purpose.
"Let’s buy so necessities first!" Ireel took out a mask he had prepared earlier, "You guys probably haven’t prepared one yet, right?"
"Our civilization’s Alchemists have been fully booked recently. Without a one or two-year advance booking, it’s impossible to make a reservation," Shayana and the others shook their heads.
"Then let’s first buy sothing to mask the aura," Ireel searched the map, "It’s quite close, the planet 2 astronomical units away is where freelance alchemists do business; we’ll definitely find it there."
"Alright, let’s take a look there first," Although Zhang nglong did not feel he needed such an item, since he dared to announce his identity number even after potentially causing trouble, confident that anyone threatening him would be dealt with on his terms.
Only those lacking capability yet fond of bluffing would need such an item. Those with ability are fearless in bluffing.
Anyway, since the exhibition hadn’t officially started, they had plenty of ti to explore.
"There!" Ireel pointed at a distant beam of light, "The space jump point is there!"
After waiting by the roadside for a few minutes, a transport vehicle surpassing the speed of sound several tis landed next to them. Several individuals from other civilizations glanced at them briefly before continuing with their affairs.
"Sister," Shazina tugged at Shayana’s clothes, "Why did you accept their invitation? Ireel is just a Level Two civilization person, surely your relationship isn’t supported by the family, and his friend is from a Level One civilization, you..."
Only Shazina understood Shayana’s fondness for Ireel was a secret shared between the sisters. Why Shayana, a Level Three Princess, would be interested in Ireel involved so dramatic storyline.
"Do you really think Ireel’s friend is just a Level One civilization person?" Shayana smiled, "You haven’t been following our Twin Whales Cosmic Empire news, have you?"
"There’s so much news about our Cosmic Empire, how could I keep up?" Shazina pouted, "I can’t even keep up with the gossip from our planet."
"You should read less of those unproductive things!" Shayana projected a screen using artificial intelligence, "Check out this news."
"What is it?" Shazina leaned in, "Star Gazers? Soone in our Cosmic Empire can afford a Star Gazer? And it’s within our Laniakea galaxy cluster?"
Though unfamiliar with the spacecraft’s performance, akin to how earthly won usually don’t understand sports cars, they have a general idea about pricing. This thing’s bare price alone could empty the entire Twin Whales Cosmic Empire’s coffers! It’s hard to find anyone in nearby civilizations who can afford a Star Gazer.
"Izek civilization? Isn’t that where Ireel cos from?"
"Keep looking!"
Suddenly, Shazina’s pupils grew several tis larger, "That person is with Ireel? Wait, that self-proclaid Level One civilization person—his clothes are identical to the Star Gazer owner’s!"
"Now do you understand?" Shayana smiled, "He’s likely a significant figure playing it cool."
"Oh my god, how does he know soone who can afford a Star Gazer?" Shazina still found it hard to believe, "Soone like that claiming to be from a Level One civilization? This isn’t being understated, is it?"
"I don’t necessarily think what he said is false."
"How is that possible? Soone who’s rich enough to buy a Star Gazer can’t possibly co from a Level One civilization."
"Whoa! What is that?"
"That’s wireless communication technology; it’s available in Level Two civilizations."
"Wow, it’s beautiful, is that an aurora?"
"Just ordinary artificial lights."
Everything fascinated Zhang nglong, filling him with curiosity and interest.
...
"Alright, I take back what I said earlier," Shazina suddenly thought Zhang nglong was just a country bumpkin.
Anyone from an advanced civilization would surely be more cultured and refined than Zhang nglong. Being so astonished by commonplace things shows how inexperienced he is. Are his Star Gazers stolen or picked up?
"This guy truly is unique," Shazina watched Zhang nglong’s back, resting her chin on her hand, "Sister, with this guy, maybe you and Ireel really could have a chance. How he knows such a person is beyond ."
"He has a certain unusual charm," Shayana gazed at Ireel sitting in the front, a faint smile on her face.
