Chapter 832: Chapter 830: My na is Jack Ma
"What did you say?" The faces of the three young n changed instantly.
They were all suitors of the Shayana sisters. Although their backgrounds were still considerably inferior compared to the Lord of the Androda Civilization, they were definitely among those who stood at the top of the pyramid.
But Ireel was rely the younger son of a Level Two Civilization Lord. In their eyes, his status was almost equivalent to that of ordinary people. Could soone like him know any great figures?
He actually dared to speak such arrogant words in front of them?
"It’s nothing, I an, I never care whether my friends have backgrounds or money," Zhang nglong said, "Anyways, they definitely don’t have my background or money, so you guys don’t need to feel so inferior."
The three were montarily stunned. Ireel had just introduced the three of them, and within Level Three Civilizations, they were considered wealthy and powerful. For soone to say such things, could this young man be from a Level Four Civilization or even Level Five?
However, Zhang nglong’s plain and even pitiable attire did not fit the level of society in this cosmic hierarchy.
"May I know which Level Five Civilization this friend is from?" Chiradel said with sharp sarcasm.
"My hotown is a Level One Civilization, which you’ve probably never heard of," Zhang nglong replied with a smile.
"Level One Civilization? Hahaha!"
"Ireel, you’re the son of a Level Two Civilization Lord. How could you be on brotherly terms with soone from a Level One Civilization?"
"Such a big shot indeed. We certainly aren’t qualified to be friends with people like you."
The three imdiately ridiculed Zhang nglong. A Level One Civilization? That’s scarcely different from slavery! Even slaves from so advanced civilizations are more dignified than him.
"Hello, I’m Shayana, nice to et you." Surprisingly, Shayana made a gesture toward Zhang nglong which, in Androda, was akin to a handshake, symbolizing friendliness.
"I’m Zhang nglong, a friend of Ireel. You’re quite different from them," Zhang nglong smiled, "No wonder Ireel likes you!"
"Brother Zhang, what are you saying?" Ireel was instantly anxious, and Shayana’s face flushed slightly.
"Young man, why so shy?" Zhang nglong said disdainfully, "The girl is more forthright than you!"
"The expo hasn’t started yet. Would you be interested in strolling around with us?" Zhang nglong invited.
"No..." Chiradel and the others were about to refuse. They were all suitors of the Shayana sisters; they certainly didn’t want another male to join in.
Unexpectedly, Shayana agreed imdiately, "Sure! More people would make it livelier."
Zhang nglong deliberately nudged Ireel to Shayana’s side, "Buddy, this is as much as I can help you."
"What’s going on?" Seeing Shayana being so proactive, the three young n could only follow along with Shayana.
"Where should we go first?" Shayana asked.
"Let
see," Ireel opened the map. The map of the entire venue was very detailed; they could specify a place directly, or their purpose, and the map would find the corresponding area for them.
"Let’s go buy so necessities first!" Ireel took out a mask he had prepared earlier, "I bet none of you have prepared this yet?"
"Recently, our civilization’s few alchemists are fully booked, and if you didn’t make an appointnt a year or two in advance, there’s no way to get up there," Shayana and others shook their heads.
"Then we’ll start by buying things that can conceal our presence," Ireel searched through the map, "It’s quite nearby. The planet 2 astronomical units away is used specifically by those amateur alchemists for business. We should be able to buy so there."
"Alright, let’s check it out first," Zhang nglong didn’t think he needed such things. Even if he punched a hole in the sky, he dared to announce his ID number. They were welco to co attack him if they dared.
Only those without abilities who liked to show off needed such things. Those with real skills have no fear in showing off.
However, since the expo hadn’t officially started yet, there was plenty of ti to wander around.
"There!" Ireel pointed to a distant beam of light, "The space jump point is there!"
The group waited by the roadside for a few minutes, and a shuttle with a speed several tis faster than sound landed beside them. Inside the shuttle were over a dozen individuals from other civilizations. They glanced at them briefly and continued focusing on their own business.
"Sister," Shazina tugged on Shayana’s clothes, "Why did you agree to their invitation? That Ireel is just from a Level Two Civilization; your family surely wouldn’t support your matters, and his friend is only from a Level One Civilization, what are you..."
Only Shazina knew about Shayana’s affection for Ireel; it was a secret between the sisters. As for why the princess of a Level Three Civilization would be interested in Ireel, that’s quite a lodramatic story.
"Do you truly think Ireel’s friend is just from a Level One Civilization?" Shayana smiled, "You haven’t been keeping up with the information from our Twin Whales Cosmic Empire?"
"We have so much information in our Cosmic Empire that I can’t keep up with it all!" Shazina pouted, "I can’t even finish the gossip from our own planet."
"You should watch less of those worthless things!" Shayana projected a screen using Artificial Intelligence, "Look at this news."
"What is it?" Shazina leaned over, "Star Gazers? Soone in our Cosmic Empire actually can afford Star Gazers? And within our Laniakea Galaxy Cluster?"
Though not knowledgeable about the spaceship’s performance, just like won on Earth rarely understand sports cars, they were sowhat aware of the prices. This item could financially drain the entire Twin Whales Cosmic Empire just by its base price! Nearby civilizations couldn’t find anyone who could afford Star Gazers.
"Izek civilization? Isn’t that the civilization where Ireel is from?"
"Keep watching!"
Suddenly, Shazina’s pupils enlarged several tis over, "That person is with Ireel? Wait, that guy who claid to be from a Level One Civilization... his clothes are exactly the sa as the owner of the Star Gazers!"
"Now you understand?" Shayana smiled, "He might be a major figure with hidden talents."
"Oh my, how does he know soone who can afford Star Gazers?" Shazina was still incredulous, "Soone like that would say they’re from a Level One Civilization? Being low-key isn’t done like that!"
"I honestly don’t think what he said is necessarily false."
"How could it be possible? Soone who can afford Star Gazers, could they be from a Level One Civilization?
"Whoa! What’s that?"
"That’s non-optical cable communication technology, available from Level Two Civilizations."
"Whoa, it’s so beautiful. Is that an aurora?"
"Just ordinary artificial lighting."
To Zhang nglong, everything was intriguing and fascinating.
...
"Alright, I take back what I said earlier," Shazina suddenly felt Zhang nglong was just a bumpkin.
People from advanced civilizations, which one isn’t more cultured and refined than Zhang nglong? One glance and you know he’s inexperienced when such common things surprise him. Could his Star Gazers have been stolen or picked up?
"This guy is really unique," Shazina propped her chin and stared at the back of Zhang nglong’s head, "Sis, maybe with this person, you and Ireel might actually have a shot. I wonder how he knows soone like that."
"He just has so extraordinary charm," Shayana looked at Ireel who was seated in front, with a faint smile on her face.
