Continuous heavy rain had subrged the downtown area of Nanhe City, with countless vehicles trapped in the floodwaters, their engines severely damaged due to prolonged soaking. Yet, the rainfall still far exceeded the city's flood discharge capacity.

Disaster relief personnel were doing their best to carry out rescue operations, but the number of affected people was simply too great. Roads, streets, residential areas, factories, and so on were all waiting for human rescue.

In a bus, the water level had already surpassed the chests of many passengers, and it was only a little more than a head's height away from the top of the bus. Many children even had to be held by adults to barely keep breathing.

All the passengers were trying to stay calm, but the chill seeping into their bodies still sent shivers to their hearts.

So might ask, why didn't they dare to leave the bus to seek survival? Didn't it seem a bit like they were locking themselves in?

Unlike so coastal or island cities, Nanhe City was an inland city where the general proficiency in swimming wasn't very high, and the outside storm along with the violent wind made the currents extrely turbulent.

Even accomplished swimrs might not be able to move freely in such turbulent water, let alone most of the people inside were landlubbers.

If they left the bus imdiately, it could be even more dangerous, as no one knew what sharp objects could be hidden in the raging torrents or what heavy objects were being swept away.

"Wenwen, do you think we could die here?" Two girls were holding onto the bus's tal bars, their lips turning purple from the cold, and their speech had even begun to tremble.

"Don't worry, we won't. Although the situation is a bit bad now, we are not in so remote place. Plus, soone on the bus has already called the police, so soone should co to rescue us soon," Wenwen reassured, though she was in a very bad state herself. It was her "special" day today, and being subrged in such dirty water for a long ti had made her feel extrely uncomfortable. There was even a sharp pain that suggested she might have gotten an infection.

But to encourage her friend, she still managed a pained smile.

"Creak!" Suddenly, a loud noise ca from the bus, which violently shook.

"Ah!" The people on the bus scread.

You have to understand that with the current water level, it was high enough to cover the width of the bus. And with everyone's current standing position, it would be impossible to quickly adjust to lying on their sides. Combined with panic, if the bus fell over, many passengers would likely lose their lives in the floodwaters.

But then they realized the water level around them was dropping!

No! It was the bus that was rising! And the bus was even slowly moving forward!

"Is there sothing underneath?"

"Did soone co to save us?"

The passengers showed smiles of relief as if they had just survived a great disaster.

Not far away, in a high-rise building, a young man's hands were constantly moving. Every ti he waved his arms, a vehicle under his gaze would be dragged out of the water and then moved towards a relatively high and safe area.

"Damn, controlling so much tal all at once, even Magneto would be exhausted," the young man muttered to himself as he popped a Snickers bar into his mouth.

He pressed his earphone, "Zhou Keshi, I've more or less finished searching this street, how about you?"

"I'm almost done here too. There's an elderly person living alone trapped in the first floor of the residential complex. I'm on my way there now. The old person's vital signs are still there, so there should be no problem."

"And you, Gu Wen? How's it going on your side?"

"The situation in the subway is terrible, the water level has risen above the subway. A few of us are carrying the subway carriages out. We need more people to help!"

"Don't worry, I'll get a brother with strong spiritual power to co and help you, as long as the water doesn't keep seeping in, you'll be fine!"

...

At this critical juncture, a large group of mysterious forces suddenly erged in Nanhe City, so carrying trains and subways, others using skills like controlling tals and telekinesis, and inexplicably, the masses were evacuated to safe places.

The ergency workers were also dumbfounded, asking how exactly those people escaped, but even the affected masses themselves couldn't explain how it happened,

Left with no choice, dia workers could only define it as "the mysterious power of the East."

But no matter how good the secrecy work was, there were still monts of exposure, as the Super God Academy students were helping to rescue those vehicles and subways, separated from the disaster victims only by the glass and doors of the cars.

Sotis, they had no choice but to reveal themselves, especially when rescuing those who were injured but still conscious.

"Mysterious rescue personnel made their first appearance, with eyewitnesses seeing a young man tear open a car door with his hands and rescue the people inside, the youth claid to be a mber of the Ritian Sect with the nickna 'Tear Tile Star'."

"A mysterious figure rushed into an underground mahjong parlor in a neighborhood and rescued 14 people, the young man claid to be the Ritian Sect's 'God of Gamblers Gao Jin'."

"A mysterious figure broke into a hospital surgery room with damaged standby power equipnt, and after completing two complex surgeries, he left proudly, claiming to be from the Ritian Sect with the nickna 'Flat Xixi Bird'."

"Soone caught footage of a mysterious person carrying a section of the subway out of the subway station!"

"Who exactly are these people claiming to be from the Ritian Sect, and what connection do they have with the Blast Sky Gang?"

...

Similar mysterious figures appeared in many parts of Nanhe City, and the public went from initial panic to later calm and even ecstatic excitent at their presence.

However, there had to be an explanation for these people's existence. It's barely believable that a person could tear open a car door, but to carry a subway car filled with dozens of people while parkouring, that's just too outrageous, right?

The relevant authorities had no choice but to imdiately declare that these mysterious figures were elite soldiers specially trained by the state, rare in number, and absolutely loyal to the country, assuring the citizens to be at ease.

"What in the world is going on? Where did all these Psychics co from?" At the headquarters of the special operations group, the higher-ups were completely baffled. They indeed planned to dispatch Psychics to assist in the rescue.

But they had only just assembled their forces when these people popped out of nowhere. Estimating their numbers, there were at least several hundred. Aren't all the Psychics in the country registered with them and forcibly recruited into the special operations group? Even those too old to move around had people specially watching over them, and they hadn't moved at all!

"Ritian Sect?" Captain ng Tianhe of the special operations group suddenly rembered his friend known as the "Martial God," ntioning the sect founded by the young man nad Zhang nglong. Were all these people from the "Ritian Sect"?

To be able to carry such heavy train cars, these people must be at least Level Six or Seven Psychics. What the hell was going on?

But now wasn't the ti to ponder these questions. The city was too large, and there were too many people trapped, even with the help of these individuals things were still tense.

"Longxia special operations team, move out! Try not to have any conflicts with the Ritian Sect!"

"Captain, could the Ritian Sect be so kind of nefarious civilian organization? Should we investigate and if there's an issue, take them down?"

"Take them down, take them down, take them down!" ng Tianhe directly gave the man three knocks on the head, "Rember, we in the Longxia special operations group can't afford to ss with the Ritian Sect. If anyone's going to take down soone, it would be them taking us down!"

"No way?" mbers of the Longxia group showed incredulous expressions.

"Don't doubt it," ng Tianhe said seriously, "The reason the Martial God was able to break through to the Heavenly Origin Boundary was because the founder of the Ritian Sect casually gave him an ancient elixir. If any of you dare to provoke the Ritian Sect, I'll be the first to twist your heads off!"
