"Robbery?" Upon hearing these two words, the eyes of the mutants roundly bulged, as they all thought that falling into the hands of Zhang nglong ant certain death today; yet Zhang nglong didn't play by the rules.
"I know you all brought a lot of money this ti," Zhang nglong pointed at one of the mutants from Indi, "I rember you were the first to give up the bidding yesterday, but you also brought 62 billion Euros, right?"
Zhang nglong pulled out his phone, "You, pay via Zhi Fu Bao transfer or WeChat transfer?"
"Idiot!" Wang Ling cursed directly behind Zhang nglong, "Have you ever seen soone make a paynt of 62 billion Euros using their phone? Are you sick in the head?"
"Haha, sorry, I got used to it when I was poor," Zhang nglong embarrassingly put away his phone. If he really had tried to transfer such an enormous sum through these two paynt thods, Ma Yun and Ma Hua would probably be dumbfounded.
"Let
ask you one thing, do you want money or your life?" Zhang nglong said.
The mutant from Indi hung his head. People from Indi weren't as wealthy as those from Arica; this sum of money was gathered by the effort of the whole nation. If they returned without the Immortal Pill and also lost this money, they would likely face severe punishnt back ho.
But if they didn't give the money, they might die at the hands of Zhang nglong right here!
"I... I'll give the money!" The person from Indi said helplessly. It was better to defect and flee the country. With his talents, as long as he stayed anonymous, he could live well anywhere in the world.
Zhang nglong gave the man his Swiss Bank account number and handed him a computer that could connect to the internet.
A few minutes later, Zhang nglong received a notification from the Swiss Bank; the 62 billion Euros had been transferred.
"I like people who know the tis," Zhang nglong smiled, "Next!"
Zhang nglong's gaze fell on an Awakener from the Kingdom of Derman, "Wearing circular glasses, what are you playing at, Harry Potter?"
The Awakener trembled with fear, not even daring to look into Zhang nglong's eyes.
He had thought that Zhang nglong's biggest reliance was on that Destroyer from yesterday's auction, which is why he allowed Adenna and Zhang nglong to compete for that Imperial Jade Seal.
Before the bidding, Zhang nglong had issued a strict warning that anyone who dared to compete with him in the bidding wouldn't leave this place. Adenna's actions were clearly a slap to Zhang nglong's face in front of all these people.
He understood that soone like Zhang nglong didn't care about money but definitely cared about his face, and this bill was probably souring on him.
"Adenna!" The young man with green eyes gritted his teeth, "Wait until I return to my country, I'll make sure you pay for this!"
"Who are you trying to scare with that nacing look?" Zhang nglong scolded, "69 billion Euros, right? Hand it over, each penny short, and I'll pluck a hair from your head, once you run out of hair there, I'll start on your leg hair, and if you're out of leg hair, I'll turn you into an Azure Dragon!"
"Hahaha, you really are talented!" With the fear gone, Wang Ling relaxed, and even Lu Yiyao couldn't help but let out a laugh.
To provoke Zhang nglong, such a troublemaker, was truly worse than death.
The young man felt a chill run down his legs and quickly transferred the money to Zhang nglong's account from the computer.
The remaining people accepted their fate; facing punishnt back ho was better than being killed by Zhang nglong here. And with creatures like Ye Yin around, unless their level nine elites intervened, none would co out unscathed, so neither the organization nor the governnts could bla them.
Money kept flowing into Zhang nglong's account, and after checking, he found his account now had over a trillion Euros more!
He had spent less than 200 billion Euros yesterday, and today he earned it all back with profit.
"Making money isn't that difficult, after all!" Zhang nglong muttered to himself. It took him months to spend 100 billion US Dollars, but in less than twenty minutes, he made a trillion Euros — making money was indeed much easier than spending it.
Ye Yin couldn't help but roll her eyes at this; could these two things even be compared?
"Do you have a Swiss Bank account?" Zhang nglong asked Wang Ling.
"Yeah," Wang Ling provided a series of numbers, "What for?"
"Fair's fair," Zhang nglong smiled, "Plus a hush fee. You can't just blab about today's events!"
"10 billion!" Wang Ling's eyes widened as he looked at the balance in his account. Although he knew he couldn't go blabbering about what happened, the hush fee of 10 billion Euros was just too extravagant, wasn't it?
"No problem, the wool cos from the sheep, after all, it's not my money," Zhang nglong shrugged his shoulders, "And it's not even close to the pocket change I made today!"
"Damn, if I were a woman, I'd definitely co seduce you!" Wang Ling said exaggeratedly.
"Get lost! Don't disgust !"
"As for the remaining money, first take those 100 billion euros and do so charity," Zhang nglong muttered to himself, "Then refurbish that aircraft carrier into a proper yacht, and after the New Year, go take the entrance exam for grad school. Use the rest of the money for scientific research, get nominated as an academician, and reach the pinnacle of life…"
Watching Zhang nglong and his friends fooling around, the mutants were completely freaking out. Stealing their money to do charity in Zhang nglong's na? Was there anything more shaless than this?
Co on, does a guy like him need to take the entrance exam for grad school? Wasn't he born at the pinnacle of life?
And as for being nominated as an academician, did he think academicians just fell from the sky? Even with wealth and impressive bodyguards, could that really buy an academician title? They must be dreaming.
But how could they know that with enough sunscreen, Zhang nglong could casually learn a skill from his teacher Iron Man Tony, engage in academia, publish papers, and easily outshine current scholars, making becoming an academician a breeze?
"Hey, Old Zhang?" Wang Ling asked, "I'm starting to wonder whether your family's wealth was stolen or earned."
"Hahaha!" Zhang nglong laughed, "I don't know about that, you'd have to ask my ancestors! I'll introduce you to them if I get a chance."
"No way!" Wang Ling quickly stepped back—he had no clue that Zhang nglong's ancestors were all still alive. To et them, he'd have to go down below!
"Alright, you guys can get lost!" Zhang nglong said, "Ye Yin, throw them all down!"
"Yes, Mr. Zhang!" Ye Yin replied ticulously.
With a shift of his gaze, those dozen or so mutants were promptly tossed down from the deck, ten or so ters up, crashing brutally onto the frozen ice surface.
Under Ye Yin's prowess, the ice that had immobilized the destroyer cracked open.
"Snap!" He snapped his fingers, and the sailors, who had been unconscious monts before on the destroyer, suddenly woke up, restarted the warship, and set off in the direction of the Frankfurt Continent…
"Dammit!" On that small piece of ice floe, the dozen mutants looked at one another and then broke into bitter smiles. But glancing at Charles's already cold body beside them, they couldn't help feeling a stroke of luck.
"This Huaxia man is simply a demon!"
"We must report back to the organization—another Awakener beyond level nine has erged in Huaxia!"
"Swoosh!" At that mont, Ye Yin appeared again like a specter, floating in the air like a deity, possessing the power of flight, the hallmark of those beyond level nine!
Apart from those special mutants or Awakeners who could control gravity, electric currents, magnetic fields, and the like, only those beyond level nine could fly on their own power—it was common knowledge in the second world!
"Mr. Zhang forgot to say sothing just now; he asked
to convey it," Ye Yin said.
"You... You want us to keep today's events a secret, right?"
"Rest assured, we absolutely won't let a word of today's events slip!" So said this out loud, but inwardly, they sneered. Once they were back in their own country, could Zhang nglong's people possibly co after them? Ye Yin wasn't the only one in the world beyond level nine.
"No!" Ye Yin shook his head, "Mr. Zhang wanted
to ask you guys one thing—he's handso, isn't he?"
All bewildered, they exchanged glances and then suddenly understood.
"Handso!"
"I've never seen a more handso Huaxia man than Mr. Zhang!"
...
"Crack!" The necks of the dozen n broke on cue, dying without knowing what they'd said wrong.
Their bodies were subrged into the diterranean Sea floor by Ye Yin's control. As he watched their fading shadows, Ye Yin said coldly, "Mr. Zhang asked
to tell you that you know too much."
