Chapter 1259: Chapter 1253: I’m Just a Legend
In the spaceship cockpit, a captain, a vice-captain, and a dozen crew mbers were working together to try to dodge the not-too-dense space storm. But even though it’s just an appetizer, it still made them use all their skills because they knew well that the main body of the Space-Ti Storm behind was the most terrifying.
"Captain, we are expected to enter the turbulent zone in 5 minutes," a crew mber said. "Captain, do we still have a chance to get out?"
The captain sighed, "So far, very few people who have encountered a Space-Ti Storm have managed to leave alive, and historically, there is only one record of it occurring."
Upon ntioning this, the captain’s eyes showed imnse admiration, "That was Captain Theo, a legend in navigation. He piloted the spaceship through 12 minutes of space-ti turbulence, dodging a total of 2,660 space-ti blade attacks, and the ship was only minorly damaged in an insignificant storage area. All 17,290 passengers aboard arrived at the port safely; his feat was simply miraculous."
"So we are..."
"You are overestimating ," the captain said with a bitter smile. "Not to ntion Captain Theo was a Martial Artist in the Void Transformation Realm, he was a First-grade Empire’s ace pilot, and his spaceship’s performance was several tis better than ours. Moreover, the success of that event was highly coincidental, even he admitted it couldn’t be replicated."
The captain took out a device, "Everyone, if there is anything you want to say to family or friends, now is the ti, although the probability of this recorder surviving isn’t high either."
The captain’s words were filled with despair and pessimism, but facts are facts, and no one can change them.
"Is this the cockpit?" At this mont, a buzz of voices was heard outside, as if a group was approaching the cockpit.
"What’s going on? Can anyone just walk into the cockpit?" Seeing a crew mber, the captain imdiately reprimanded.
"Captain," the crew mber said cautiously, "Mr. Takumi Fujiwara here said he has a way to get through this space storm area, so I brought him to try."
The captain’s gaze fell on Zhang nglong, he looked him over, then shook his head, he is at the God-breaking Peak, the realm is decent, but seems quite immature, "Have you piloted a spaceship?"
Zhang nglong shook his head, "I’ve done simulation driving, maybe about ten thousand tis, but never tried piloting a real spaceship."
Zhang nglong learned quite a bit in the driving school at Super God Academy, from motorcycles to Gundams, various models of spaceships were covered. Although he hadn’t interacted with this particular model, he had piloted those with functions and designs similar to it.
"Nonsense! Is simulation driving the sa as operating the real thing?" the captain criticized bluntly, "Do you know how many people are on this spaceship? 15,682 people, you want
to gamble all their lives with you?"
Zhang nglong wasn’t upset either, understanding the captain’s concern for others, "Then do you have the confidence to safely leave the storm area?"
"No!" the captain replied straightforwardly, "If the spaceship’s performance were improved by twice, I could try, but this is just a regular civilian model space-turbulence spaceship."
"You don’t have confidence, but I do," Zhang nglong said, "Don’t worry, I’ve read a lot, I won’t deceive you."
Zhang nglong ignored the others, then glanced at the numbers on the dashboard, "Hmm, still about 4 minutes until entering the storm area, ti’s enough."
Zhang nglong wandered around the spaceship cockpit, getting familiar with various instrunts and procedures, then revealed a confident smile, "The performance is barely acceptable, if it were 10% lower, even I couldn’t manage."
The captain saw the confident expression on Zhang nglong’s face and sohow felt the illusion that maybe he truly could accomplish this.
"Captain, we are entering that area!" a crew mber suddenly shouted nervously, as blade-like space-ti storms had appeared directly ahead in the panel.
Each force was pure space-ti energy condensed into form, even a Saint’s body would be shattered by such energy cuts, and the space-ti blades coming from ahead were dense. The gaps between adjacent blades barely accommodate two or three spaceship widths.
Theoretically, as long as they could precisely pass through those gaps, they could cross the storm area, but this required highly demanding driving skills and maintaining focus for a long ti, nearly an impossible task.
"Captain, we’ve encountered a Level Three storm, it will take 25 minutes to get through, we have no hope..."
The storm Captain Theo encountered was a level lower and lasted less than 20 minutes; this is practically hell-level difficulty.
Faced with these imminent space-ti blades, everyone fell silent, the crew also stopped operating, understanding well their efforts were futile against such a Space-Ti Storm.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!" Zhang nglong ford hand signs, directly creating dozens of clones, quickly reaching each control station, "Everyone, get ready, the veteran is about to start racing!"
In the captain’s astonished gaze, Zhang nglong actually pulled the power system lever, increasing the output. In the captain’s view, this was a suicidal act.
Indeed, enhancing power increased the spaceship’s agility, but simultaneously made Zhang nglong’s operation more difficult. If his reaction ti was initially 0.1 seconds, now it might be 0.05 seconds or even less, it was like walking on a tightrope!
"Here we go!" Zhang nglong revealed an excited smile, diving headfirst into the space-ti storm area, imdiately enveloped by dozens of dense space-ti blades.
At the critical mont, Zhang nglong began an astounding maneuver, as if the cumberso spaceship moved through the storm blades like a fish in water.
Then he even perford flips, drifts, and other high-difficulty actions, like an AE86 weaving through Mount Akina.
"Is it really this smooth?"
"Are such maneuvers truly achievable by humans?"
"Ten thousand tis of simulated maneuvers, can drive a spaceship to this degree?" The captain watched Zhang nglong’s smooth operation, utterly speechless.
Are ten thousand simulation maneuvers a lot? Not at all!
Every captain needs to conduct tens of thousands of simulated flights before taking the post, ten thousand tis, barely enough for a vice-captain position. Like himself, he conducted 50,000 simulated journeys and over 12,000 navigation as vice-captain before qualifying for his captain certificate.
"Oh, I forgot to ntion," amidst his concentrated operation, Zhang nglong even chatted leisurely with the captain, "The ten thousand tis I referred to weren’t basic navigation simulations, but Super Space-Ti Storm simulations, although the performance of simulated spaceships was much better than now, at least triple the power."
"Super storm?" The captain and the crew’s pupils instantly enlarged; super storms were much stronger than this Level Three storm by a hundredfold, no wonder he traveled through this spaceship like play, akin to an experienced warrior confronting ordinary duels, practically a dinsion reduction strike.
"What is your success rate in super storms?"
"99.96%?" Zhang nglong said, he failed once due to picking his nose at a turn...
"You... you are unbelievably incredible."
"Just so-so, don’t admire
too much, I’m just a legend."
