Gu Ren heard Ye Zhi’s na again, and this ti, the hatred that swept across his eyes disappeared in a flash.

After a while, Sheng Lian arrived and the monitoring police listened carefully.
Sheng Lian asked Liu Cang to pay close attention to Ye Zhi’s actions for the next few days and find an opportunity to follow Ye Zhi’s car. Then, they would initiate the plan to kidnap her in attempts to get the ransom from Nie Jiqing.
After so deliberation, the police asked Ye Zhi to stop at one place on purpose on the day when the action was going to be taken. The police would lay an ambush there in advance, and as soon as Sheng Lian made a move, they would imdiately arrest him.
During this ti, the people around Ye Zhi have been replaced by policen, who were protecting Ye Zhi and preparing for that fateful day.

The air was silent and Gu Ren didn’t say anything; just content to hug her like that.
Ye Zhi didn’t ask him anything either, but they already knew what the other was thinking about.
Ye Zhi raised her hand and hugged Gu Ren gently. She put her hand on his back and touched it gently, soothing the worries and unrest in his heart.
She understood all of his worries. However, they were going to face the next stream of events together.
Ye Zhi continued to work as usual. Although she was relatively nervous, she didn’t show any of that unease on her face.
After Ye Zhi finished work, she went to the car and was about to open the door when she noticed that soone was coming towards her.
Ye Zhi turned her head and looked over.
