At this mont, Gu Ren almost couldn’t help but want to raise his hand and touch Ye Zhi’s face. He wanted to ask her sothing.
Did I take too long?
The winter wind was a bit chilly. Ye Zhi had been standing there waiting for him. Her hands must have been cold.
However, Gu Ren did not move, let alone stretch out his hand.
Gu Ren stood there in silence. His slender figure resembled a tall tree, strong and reliable.
He didn’t follow his heart, not only because many people were watching them now, but also because of his attitude towards Ye Zhi.
He cherished her so much, he didn’t want to lose this relationship.
In the end, the complicated and disturbing emotions only turned into a sentence with an unknown aning.
“I finally found you.”
Gu Ren was suppressing his urge, so his voice was a little hoarse.
When Ye Zhi heard his voice, her heart shook. When they were practising at ho, Gu Ren said the sa thing.
The sa sentence in different situations gave it a completely different feeling. In the darkness, emotions seed to magnify.
But Ye Zhi couldn’t tell whether the darkness magnified her emotions, or her heart was yearning for this sentence.
At this ti, a chanical voice rang from the top: “Congratulations to Gu Ren and Ye Zhi for completing the task. They found each other blindfolded in the maze…”
With their efforts, they conquered the most difficult task thus far.
Both Gu Ren and Ye Zhi took off their blindfolds. Just as Ye Zhi opened her eyes, the light poured in. She saw Gu Ren. He was standing right in front of her.
At the mont the light poured in, Gu Ren also raised his head and looked at Ye Zhi.
Ye Zhi’s face was hidden in the light and shadow, looking hazy. Her skin seed to be soaked in moonlight, white and clear.
Gu Ren’s eyes couldn’t separate from Ye Zhi for even a mont.
Gu Ren hadn’t spoken. His gaze painted Ye Zhi’s face bit by bit, slowly and seriously.
His gaze seed to even reach the bottom of Ye Zhi’s heart.
Looking at Ye Zhi again, Gu Ren once again felt as if he had known her for a very long ti. Gu Ren had hidden doubts in his heart for a long ti.
The perplexity that haunted Gu Ren for a long ti finally converged into one sentence.
Why do I find Ye Zhi so familiar?
As Gu Ren had these thoughts, his eyes inevitably stayed on Ye Zhi’s face for a while.
Ye Zhi noticed Gu Ren’s strangeness. She thought that Gu Ren had forgotten that they were being recorded and would say sothing that shouldn’t be said, so she imdiately motioned to him.
Ye Zhi pretended to cough a few tis. It was early winter and the air was slightly cold so her sudden cough would not arouse suspicion.
As soon as Gu Ren heard Ye Zhi’s cough, he imdiately recovered. He thought that Ye Zhi really had a cold and his brows knitted together.
The next second, Gu Ren saw Ye Zhi’s eye turn to the cara and he understood everything.
Gu Ren smiled calmly and pointed to the exit behind Ye Zhi: “Let’s go.”
The passage of the maze was quite narrow. It would be very difficult for two people to walk side by side. Ye Zhi took a step back and let Gu Ren go first.
Gu Ren was in front and Ye Zhi was not far behind him.
Because Ye Zhi and Gu Ren had drawn most of the maze’s map before and now the missing pieces had also been filled in, it was quite easy for them to get out.
