This was your first ti taking Zhao’er to watch a movie. Co to think of it, it was also the first ti you took a girl to the movies, which was a bit exciting.

However, as you held Zhao’er’s delicate hand, waiting for the movie to start in the small coffee shop next to the theater, no less than thirty people had pretended to casually pass by, stealing glances at Zhao’er. They looked on with envy and infatuation before moving away, either reluctantly ordering a bitter black coffee nearby to lant, or staying close to sneak a few more looks.

"Hello."

At that mont, a man dressed in a suit and carrying a pair of black-fra glasses, who seed quite refined in appearance, walked over.

"Hmm?" You looked up slightly, gazing at this man who, based on his looks alone, didn’t seem disagreeable.

"My na is Zhou, and here’s my business card."

After taking the business card from the man and glancing at it, you couldn’t help but laugh. So he was a star scout.

"Both of you stand out with extraordinary looks and presence, especially this girl. To put it a tad dramatically, she’s practically a fairy. Not letting her appear in the dia or on screen, away from the public eye, is truly a waste."

"I’m sorry, we have no interest in becoming stars."

You then handed the business card back just as it was.

The man clearly wasn’t overly interested in you; his focus had been on Zhao’er all along. The reason he had spoken to you first was because he had observed that you were the one making decisions between you and Zhao’er.

Then he turned to look at Zhao’er and offered her the business card again: "This beautiful lady, I can make you a true national goddess, the focal point of everyone’s attention."

Zhao’er paid him no mind, her head bowed as she concentrated on tackling the large bowl of strawberry, mango, and pineapple shaved ice in front of her.

Watching her eating the colorful shaved ice bite by bite, you suddenly had a strange thought—

If Zhao’er’s consciousness were restored, would she still be Zhao’er?

With her own will, how would Zhao’er handle this situation and face you?

Seeing Zhao’er not even lifting her head to give him a glance made the star scout speak up again: "I’ve discovered many popular fashion stars, so of whom have walked the red carpet at Cannes and appeared at the Berlin Film Festival, and so even won Best Actress in Tokyo. Miss, I... "

Perhaps annoyed by his persistence, Zhao’er stretched out her slender left hand and pinched the business card between two fingers, tossing it carelessly aside. The card spun at high speed and shot straight towards the wall under everyone’s watchful eyes!

"Zing!"

The paper business card grazed the cheek of a middle-aged man who had been staring at Zhao’er and left a faint blood mark on his face before half of it embedded itself into the wall!

At that mont, not only the star scout but everyone in the place who had noticed Zhao’er was stunned.

So people even rubbed their eyes frantically, thinking they had seen wrong, rubbing their eyes until they were red.

You looked up slightly, smiling at the star scout: "Mr. Zhou, everyone has different views on life and values. Not everyone wants to be a star and co into the public eye. You’d better go look sowhere else and stop bothering us."

The star scout finally left, still shocked and bewildered. Though regretful, he also felt fortunate—he was glad he hadn’t offended these two, or the consequences would have been unthinkable.

This little episode showed that Zhao’er seed to have developed so reflexive consciousness compared to before.

The so-called reflective consciousness is what we commonly call the conditioned reflex, like when a little hamr taps the knee and the lower leg kicks out automatically. The fact that Zhao’er can handle these things independently indicates that she is indeed changing.

This is what makes you feel relieved and at the sa ti even more convinced that Zhao’er’s consciousness should be restored sooner rather than later.

After the movie started, you held Zhao’er’s hand and entered the auditorium under the watchful eyes of other people, who looked on with a mix of envy and jealousy.

Uh, to add, this is a genuine ghost movie, not one of those suspense movies that are labeled as ghost movies. It seems to be the first dostic 3D ghost film to be publicly shown after the "ban on the screening of ghosts and gods" was lifted by the relevant governnt departnts.

The film’s title is "I Have a Date with a Thousand-Year-Old Female Corpse," said to be adapted from a few plots of the novel with the sa na, and it has garnered a great deal of attention dostically.

You and Zhao’er were sitting in a couple’s seat towards the back. After sitting down, you, with your sharp eyes, noticed that Ji Tui and Yu Miaomiao were sitting right in front of you, two rows ahead. Apart from them, it seed that most of the people who ca to watch the ghost movie were couples.

When the lights in the auditorium dimd and various bloody subtitles appeared on the big screen, the movie began. At the sa ti, you noticed that in the four-hundred-seat auditorium, an eerie mist began to perate the air as soon as the lights went out.

This mist was invisible to the average person; it was slowly released from the people’s bodies and gathered together above the auditorium.

"Here it cos!"

You sneered to yourself.

However, you soon realized that the opposition was not only targeting Ji Tui and Yu Miaomiao; their sches were grander, targeting everyone in the entire auditorium!

The movie plot was a rollercoaster of horror mixed with dark humor, and the audience’s emotions were thrown up and down along with the storyline, just like riding a rollercoaster.

And it was these emotions that caused the mist to beco denser and denser.

At that mont, your phone in your pocket vibrated once but didn’t make any sound.

You took out your phone and glanced at Zhao’er next to you, who was completely engrossed in the movie.

Yes, yes, once Zhao’er’s eyes touched the screen, they wouldn’t wander away.

It was a text ssage from Xiao Feng. The content was simple: "Little Yunyun, all preparations are ready, just waiting for the right mont!"

Slightly lifting your head, you looked around. The movie was nearing its end, and the real climax was about to arrive!

And then, a mischievous smile drew itself across your lips, and you whispered in a voice that only Zhao’er could hear, "The world’s 3D technology still isn’t realistic enough. Let give everyone a hand and let you go through a real horror adventure!"

As you spoke, the Sen Luo Curse Mark in your pupils flashed rapidly with a five-colored light: "All Forms of Sen Luo, Color Void!"

At that mont, all the audience mbers wearing 3D glasses simultaneously felt as though the seats they were in had transford into a car or an airplane, literally throwing them straight into the movie screen!

"Ahhh!!"

Screaming!

The already tense and terrifying plotline had earlier gripped people’s fragile hearts, but now this unprecedented sense of imrsive experience lifted their hearts even higher!
