After lunch with your three roommates, you made an excuse and left for the parking lot, where Xiao Feng was already waiting for you in the car.

Even though Yang Kai and the others had been pestering you about renting off-campus, you had only casually dismissed the matter.

When you were still a hundred ters away from the parking lot, your phone suddenly rang. Pulling it out of your pocket, you saw that it was an unfamiliar number.

Rembering your mother’s repeated reminders, you silenced the call without answering it.

However, the person seed determined, calling several tis in a row, which made you angry: "Hello, who is this?"

"Is this Student Li Muyun?"

To your surprise, it was a girl. Your annoyance faded, and after a light cough, you asked, "Yes, that’s . What’s the matter?"

"Hello, I... I’m your classmate, Professor Du asked to call you."

"Professor Du?"

Your eyebrows furrowed, and at that mont, Xiao Feng drove up beside you.

"Buddy, what are you spacing out for? Get in the car," Xiao Feng stuck his head out of the car window.

You gestured for him to wait, then continued to inquire: "Who is Professor Du? What does he want with ?"

"Professor Du is our advisor. He wants you to hurry to the campus museum within ten minutes. If you’re late, he’ll dock your credits."

"What?" you were stunned. You had only just signed up; how could such an outrageous thing suddenly co up.

After hanging up the phone, you told Xiao Feng, "Buddy, take to the campus museum."

"What’s up? Weren’t we supposed to go for a drive with Zhao’er this afternoon?"

"Sigh, I’ll explain on the way."

As soon as you ntioned Professor Du to Xiao Feng, he exclaid in surprise: "Your advisor is Professor Du? Man, you’ve struck gold this ti!"

"Is he that famous?"

"Can’t believe you’re in the Departnt of Cultural Heritage and you don’t even know Professor Du. In our Huaxia Archaeological Circle, there are two very famous figures, respectfully known as Southern Du and Northern Jiang. This Southern Du refers to your advisor, Professor Du, Du Xishan!"

Xiao Feng seed very excited. Watching his spit flying, you couldn’t help but sneer and said, "Southern Du and Northern Jiang, those are just titles given by interested parties. There’s no shortage of people fishing for fa these days."

Knowing your temperant, Xiao Feng didn’t argue and instead smiled mysteriously, "You’ll know once you et him."

You shrugged indifferently.

The scale of Jiang University’s campus museum was comparable to that of the library. According to the official introduction, it housed about 4,000 artifacts, rivaling so provincial museums, and even included two national treasure-level cultural relics.

After arriving at the museum, your phone rang again; it was the sa girl: "Where are you now?"

"At the entrance."

"Hurry in. Professor Du is getting quite impatient."

Despite wanting to curse, you had to swallow your frustration since he was a professor and also your advisor.

The museum charged for admission, and without much promotion from the school, few people knew about it. Typically, only so scholars and enthusiasts would visit.

No sooner had you strode through the museum’s entrance than two security guards approached you, one of them asking, "Are you Student Li Muyun?"

"Yes, I am."

"Please follow ."

The security guard’s expression was a bit odd, looking very tense and even sowhat panicked, leaving you quite baffled.

What kind of act was this?

The museum was large, and you followed the security guard as you both jogged down the spacious corridor.

"Pitter-patter, pitter-patter."

The sound of your footsteps echoed in the quiet space.

As you ran, the scene before your eyes seed to blur, and the straight corridors appeared to warp, as if you both were heading towards a strange space.

"Creak, creak, creak..."

An odd noise kept coming from ahead, and during the run, you noticed the security guard stopped in front of a door. He said to you, "Student Li, Professor Du is inside, go on in."

You nodded, pushed the door, and entered.

It was a very spacious room, square in shape, with nothing around the walls, only a podium in the center with a glass cabinet on top, inside which was a piece of bronze ware.

On the platform at the mont stood four people, three n and one tall girl whose height surpassed that of the tallest man by half a head!

At least six-foot-tall!

You were imdiately startled by the girl’s height; as you grew up, it was the first ti you had seen a girl whose height was on par with yours.

As you approached, you deliberately took a few extra glances at the bronze ware, and your eyes sparkled in amazent as you exclaid, "Bloody hell! Kui Dragon, Lufang Zun!"

A middle-aged man with glasses among them heard you and his taut face relaxed a bit. He approached you, took a careful look, and said indifferently, "It truly is his progeny, even the eyebrows are the sa."

Seeing a middle-aged man that was barely five-foot-two, dressed in an expensive suit, standing in front of you, you couldn’t help but look down and ask, "Uncle, who are you?"

The middle-aged man snorted coldly, speaking with a touch of arrogance, "I am Du Xihai."

"Ah? Du Xihai? Wasn’t it Du Xishan?" you asked, tilting your head and looking at the man before you, his nostrils flared.

You pinched your nose and looked down at him with an air of superiority.

To be honest, this Du Xihai made a terrible first impression on you. He put on airs from the start, and after you went through all the trouble of coming here, he had the nerve to give you attitude. What could soone like that really be capable of?

"Li Muyun, I am your ntor. Haven’t you learned the basic etiquette of respecting your teacher after all these years in school?"

"Yes, yes, yes, Student Li Muyun greets Teacher Du, wishing you everlasting celestial fortune, longevity equal to the heavens, thousands of autumns, and an early ascent to paradise," you said mockingly.

"You..."

"Enough!"

At that mont, a disheveled middle-aged man with a full beard walked over to you and said, "Li Muyun, I am your academic advisor, my na is Du Xishan."

Oh, so this was the real deal. Compared to Du Xihai, this Du Xishan seed much more impressive.

Even though his attire didn’t stand out much, Du Xishan had a more piercing gaze. He continued, "Do you recognize this bronze ware?"

"Kui Dragon, Lufang Zun, a Late Shang Dynasty artifact. Legend has it that it was Emperor Xin’s favorite vessel for drinking, and because he once used it to drink human blood, it was given the added character ’Lufang.’

"Rubbish!" Du Xihai sneered and pointed at you with a strong attitude, asserting, "Ignorant brat! The square vessel of the Kui Dragon belonged to King Zhouwu, a regal artifact. How could it possibly have a connection with that depraved and incompetent Zhou King?"

Your intuition told you that this Du Xihai must have so grudge against your elders, otherwise, he wouldn’t be targeting you like this.

How does the saying go?

Oh, that’s right — among shrubs and flowers, the dwarfs are the loudest!
