"The university has been completely destroyed. There aren’t many survivors like you—only a few dozen, it seems. Most of them are receiving treatnt in our hospital."

"Can you take to see them?"

The doctor understood your feelings, and since your brainwave readings were normal, he nodded and said, "You don’t need to go. I’ll project the images from their wards directly here."

The doctor took a small remote control out of his pocket and pressed a button. Instantly, over a dozen holographic images appeared before you. To your disappointnt, none of them included Red Yan.

"What’s the matter? Your friend isn’t among them?" Seeing you shake your head, the doctor consoled you, "I think your friend will be fine. I heard that during the university explosion, the transfer center transported many people away. But because the terminal system at the transfer center was damaged, we currently don’t know where those people ended up. Maybe your friend was one of the ones who got away."

"Let’s hope so."

For now, your physical condition isn’t great, so you decide to put the matter aside temporarily.

Two days later, you were discharged from the hospital.

At the sa ti, while completing discharge paperwork, you received an acceptance letter from Star chanical University, which required you to arrive by the end of the day.

The students in the university are all elites. Most of those who graduate from there receive admission to other universities, and you were no exception.

You accepted it. The situation with Red Yan ignited a powerful desire within you to beco stronger. You decided to avoid entering the ga world for now.

"Hey, kid, where do you need to go?" A taxi pulled over in front of you, and one of its doors automatically opened. "Hop in. For just ten Galaxy Coins, I can take you anywhere you want."

"chanical Academy," you said in a calm tone.

"Alright, you got it!"

Before long, you were standing in front of a building at the chanical Academy.

"Here, just head straight inside. The staff there will help you," the driver said. You had explained your destination to him during the ride, and he naturally took you to the location specified on the acceptance letter.

After getting out of the car, you noticed the busy crowds coming and going without sparing a glance in your direction.

Maintaining a composed deanor, you walked into the building and approached the reception desk.

"Hello, may I ask who you’re looking for?"

"This is my acceptance letter." You handed over a card to a receptionist with graceful looks.

"Please wait a mont." The receptionist quickly inserted the card into a machine. Your photograph and detailed information imdiately appeared on the screen. She then handed you a piece of electronic paper, saying, "Please select your desired major."

You skimd over it briefly and checked the box for sothing called "CO Programming."

Smiling, the receptionist said, "Your information has been entered into the system. This is all your data within our academy, including your assigned dorm room and class."

Keeping the sa neutral expression, you replied with a simple "Thank you." When you glanced over the information again, you noticed that the dorm the school assigned to you was shared by three people. Preferring solitude, you considered renting a place nearby.

"Excuse , are there any rental properties available around here?"

"I’m sorry, but there’s no housing for rent here. Unless you’ve found a job, it’s absolutely impossible to rent a place on another star."

"I see. Thank you."

You turned and walked away.

Following the directions, you arrived in front of a dense cluster of buildings. Only then did you understand why housing wasn’t available on this star.

Forty-five percent of the planet is covered by forests, fifteen percent by oceans, and the remaining land is entirely planned and regulated by the governnt. There’s only one nation on this planet. While usage of land here isn’t free, the other aspects of life can be described as unrestrained. However, you quickly encountered an awkward situation.

"Hey, handso. Where are you heading?"

The voice ca from a strikingly beautiful woman. Unfortunately, her makeup was so thick that she appeared rather garish.

You didn’t bother responding to people like this and walked past her, ignoring her as though she didn’t exist.

"Hey, hey! Don’t walk away! I know I might not catch your eye with my diocre looks, but I’ve got plenty of sisters. So, what do you say? Care for a stroll with us?"

You flashed a cold smile.

In that brief glance, you noticed a badge-like license hanging on the woman’s chest. You hesitated in confusion—could it be that being a prostitute was a legitimate profession here?

The woman noticed your internal struggle and chuckled, "This is your first ti here, isn’t it? You probably didn’t know that on our planet, prostitutes are a legal profession. Don’t worry, our bodies are very clean—you won’t catch any diseases from us."

You shook your head and quickly walked away. Unexpectedly, the prostitute seed oddly interested in you and actually followed you. Feeling overwheld, you quickened your pace and used your true physical abilities, vanishing into the crowd in the blink of an eye.

"Such a shy guy. Interesting," the prostitute mused as she stared in the direction you had disappeared.

"Here it is." You pressed the doorbell for dorm C125.

"Who is it?" A crisp voice spoke.

"Hm?" A woman’s voice? You froze for a mont and double-checked the information on your docunt. Yes, it was correct.

"Who are you looking for?" An attractive face appeared on the screen.

"I’m the new roommate," you replied, your expression still calm and as placid as still water.

"Ah? Oh, one mont." The woman opened the door, then called out to soone inside, "Brother, we’ve got another roommate!"

"Roommate? Is it a new beauty?" A short man erged from the room. When he saw you, his enthusiasm visibly dimd, though his polite smile remained. "Hello, I’m Pang Gaozhu, and this is my sister, Pang Qin."

"Hello to both of you." You nodded at them before walking inside.

"You don’t have any luggage?" Pang Gaozhu’s na appeared ironic, as his height was inversely proportional to the grandeur of his na. Even standing straight, he only reached your shoulder. His sister stood slightly taller than him.

"No." Right now, you only possessed a Crystal Card. Upon settling your hospital bill, you discovered that your bank account still contained over ten million Galaxy Coins.

"This is your room," Pang Qin said to you. "The door’s locked—you’ll need to unlock it with your own card."

She handed you the student identity card given to you earlier by the receptionist. You swiped the card on the lock scanner, and the door opened instantly.

Turning around, you glanced at the peculiar siblings. "Isn’t this supposed to be the male dormitory? How can mixed-gender accommodations be allowed?"
