"Go to the City of Bifeng. There’s another challenge waiting for us there," Tang Xiao pointed ahead and said.

"Let’s move."

But now, you are no longer just four. Behind the four of you are over a hundred wild wolves!

Just as Tang Xiao said, you have now beco the new generation’s Wolf King. Yet, you show no reaction to this title, treating the wild wolves behind you as though they are nothing more than air.

With the wolf pack following you, many troubles have been avoided. The road to the City of Bifeng, which would have been teeming with wild beasts, was now cleared as most beasts sought other targets upon seeing the wolves.

The journey to the City of Bifeng was made easy. When you were within a thousand ters of the city, you turned to the wolf pack and let out a long howl. Remarkably, they seed to understand you. Hearing your howl, they turned and began to retreat the way they ca.

However, the wolves didn’t get far before a sudden, thunderous explosion echoed from within the City of Bifeng. You watched with eyes wide open as a massive beam of laser light shot out from the city, straight toward the wolf pack.

"Boom!"

The area where the wolf pack stood was instantly obliterated, leaving behind a massive crater. Not even a trace of dust remained; they were completely incinerated by the laser light.

Tang Xiao and the other two ran to your side, expecting you to erupt in rage, even go mad. But they were wrong. You remained emotionless, turning instead and stepping directly toward the City of Bifeng.

In the mont you turned, Tang Xiao caught a glimpse of your eyes—eyes filled with the flas of deep hatred. Though they burned coldly for a mont, the light in them quickly dimd again.

You just walked, moving like a lifeless corpse with no spirit.

From the mont you entered the City of Bifeng, Tang Xiao and the others felt the strange aura surrounding you. You appeared so calm, like an ordinary person, yet unlike others, your gaze didn’t wander to satisfy any vestigial curiosity. You rely kept walking, heading straight toward your destination—the Administrative Hall.

"Welco to the City of Bifeng. I am the Chief Administrator here, Bi Fengxiang," the man introduced himself.

Bi Fengxiang appeared young, looking to be in his thirties, but anyone who knew him was aware he was over a hundred years old. This longevity was due to the internal cultivation thods he had mastered. Every one of the famous and wealthy families had their own internal cultivation thods, and astonishingly, those thods included maintaining youth and resisting aging.

"I’m very pleased. Among all past candidates, your group has the most to successfully reach the City of Bifeng. I’m convinced this is not because the wild beasts outside are weaker, but because you have grown stronger. This is further proof of our human progress, proof that our future generations are continuously improving!"

Bi Fengxiang spoke at length, offering inspiring words. But you heard none of it, choosing instead to suppress your fury, containing it for a later mont.

You kept enduring until Tang Xiao softly said beside you, "Let’s go take on the next challenge."

You closed your eyes, drawing in a deep breath, before heading toward the Spatial Transmission Gate with Tang Xiao and the others.

"Where to this ti?"

"Nowhere. Written exam."

"Written exam?"

"Yes, the Lord of Bifeng said that to be a qualified warrior, one must not only possess a strong body and incredible power but also vast knowledge and quick thinking."

You nodded and, alongside Tang Xiao and the others, entered a spacious room.

The exam’s content was simple—at least for you. From the Mou Family of Academics, you had inherited countless insights on combat and warfare. The military strategies of a hundred schools, alongside thousands of historical battles, were stored within your mind.

It took you only a few minutes to solve every question. To avoid drawing suspicion, however, you appeared to fall asleep during the test.

Yes, you deliberately lowered your head slightly, pen still in hand as though writing, and dozed off.

You awoke just in ti, with roughly ten minutes left before the test ended. Handing in your answers, you stepped outside the hall to find Tang Xiao and the other two.

"Mu Yun, we’re over here!" Tang Xiao called out after spotting you. Rejoining them, he led you straight to an electronic scoreboard to check your results.

"The three of us passed. Now we’re just waiting on you," Tang Xiao said with excitent. "Your score will definitely be the highest out of all four of us."

But reality was far different. When the four of you stood beneath the scoreboard, your na was nowhere to be found. When Tang Xiao asked the staff about your results, he was inford that you had failed—your score was disqualified.

"Impossible! How could his score be worse than mine?"

Locke, the weakest among the group, had only barely passed the threshold, yet your na and result were missing entirely—almost as if the evaluators didn’t even bother grading your test.

"Your grading system is flawed! I demand an appeal!"

Bruce was equally furious, but you stopped them. With a brief glance at the scoreboard, you said calmly, "I know what went wrong. It doesn’t matter. I’ll leave first. You three continue."

"Mu Yun!"

You didn’t turn back, waving your hand at them before vanishing into the Spatial Transmission Gate leading back to Earth.

"Is it really him?" Behind the scenes, Bi Fengxiang watched as you disappeared through the gate.

"As expected, he’s Ling Tianhao’s grandson. Ha, this one is a true talent. It’s a sha he was born to the wrong lineage. With proper training, he could have beco a great general in our Alliance."

"Lord of Bifeng, we’ve received a ssage from Earth. They want us to eliminate Mu Yun secretly."

"Tell them, I won’t engage in such vile acts. Let them handle their own dirty work. Besides, Mu Yun has already returned to Earth."

Returning to Earth, you suddenly realized you had nowhere to go.

Grandpa En had indeed left you with a daunting puzzle to solve.

As you walked, you pondered how to break through the enemy’s blockade, how to find a foothold in this world. If you could establish even a single foothold, you would unleash your full potential and create a faction centered around yourself.

But the brutal reality was wearing you down. From the beginning until now, you had been on the losing side—both in the ga and in the real world.

"Hey, buddy, care to see a special show?" Two n blocked your path further ahead.

"Not interested," you replied coldly.

"You’ll definitely be interested. I know you’re not in the best mood. Only there can you truly vent out your feelings."

Saying this, the two n half-pushed, half-pulled you toward a location in the Underground City.

Though called Asia University, its internal structure was astonishingly intricate, housing all manner of groups both legitimate and illicit.

Following the two n, you entered a narrow passage within the Underground City. It was a tiny space filled with a strange stench, and the crude scenes before you were shocking. n and won stood everywhere, lay everywhere. So were even standing while engaging in obscene acts, and the entire corridor echoed with n’s grunts and won’s moans.

The two n didn’t linger, though, guiding you deeper into the Underground City.

Past the obscene corridor, a chorus of cheers and roars filled your ears. Looking ahead, you saw that the Underground City resembled a massive arena. Crowds of people, both n and won, surrounded a colossal arena stage. On stage, two n were locked in combat, one of whom was visibly at his limit. You knew the outco already—he was about to lose.

"Don’t underestimate this place," one of the n said, explaining. "This Underground City hosts Earth’s, and even the Solar System’s, largest black market. Here, you can do whatever you please, provided you have the power and money to back it up."

"This place largely consists of underground casinos, entertainnt centers, and markets. We hope you have a good ti," he added before the two left, presumably to bring in more guests.

You walked over to a frenzied man screaming his lungs out, politely asking, "Excuse ..."
