"It’s the aura of the Dragon Clan." Huang Quan’s face showed a trace of displeasure, "Those annoying reptiles."
"Reptiles? Are you referring to that flying reptile?" You pointed to the Corrosive Flying Dragon that was swooping towards them from not too far away.
"Hmph, these lowly creatures don’t even deserve to be called reptiles." For many people, the Corrosive Flying Dragon was a terrifying being. However, Huang Quan rely stretched out his right hand slightly and chanted an incantation that you didn’t understand. Subsequently, the body of that Corrosive Flying Dragon exploded on its own, sprinkling the sky with foul-slling blood and flesh.
Huang Quan’s move not only stunned you, but it also shocked the rcenaries who were preparing to fight, leaving them as still as wooden chickens. No one expected that the mightily powerful Corrosive Flying Dragon would be instantly killed by Huang Quan, an inconspicuous young human.
"Ah, could you bother to kill the rest of them too?" You pointed at several Corrosive Flying Dragons that were continuously spewing venom at the Green-skin Tribe inside the fortress.
"Unfortunately, I can only use that kind of move once a day. If my elder sister were here, it would be different. Although she can only use it once a day as well, the power she unleashes is absolutely beyond what I can achieve. She can clear all the lower Dragon Clan mbers within a thousand ters around her in one go."
"This must be a unique skill of your clan, right?" You grabbed a long spear thrust at you by a Green-skin Tribe mber, shook it violently with both hands, and lifted the Green-skin Tribe mber out of the fortress, impaling them onto the wooden spikes on the fortress walls.
"Yes, it’s just a pity that only my sister and I are left in our clan." A hint of sorrow flashed in Huang Quan’s eyes.
"Roar!"
While you were tussling with the Green-skin Tribe and the Undead atop the city walls, a thunderous dragon roar ca from the west. Looking up, you saw an imnsely huge Green Dragon swooping down. The Green Dragon opened its huge mouth wide, bit off the neck of a Corrosive Great Dragon nearby, and then shot a dozen fireballs containing trendous energy at the rotting corpses outside the fortress.
"I didn’t expect this old fellow to show up!" After seeing the Green Dragon’s face, Huang Quan’s clenched fist tightened even more. His words carried a veiled deep hatred.
"You know him?"
"He is one of the six Elders under the Dragon King, the least powerful among the gold, black, red, blue, silver, and green Elders. Even then, he is more than enough to deal with us. This fortress must be his territory, and these reptiles are absolutely relentless towards those who trespass on his territory."
With this thought, Huang Quan quickly took a few steps back, grabbing your hand and saying, "Let’s get out of here quickly. This old fellow is famously cruel. If he catches , I’ll be in big trouble."
Your expression remained calm, and you gave Huang Quan a reassuring smile: "Things are not as bad as you think. The Undead aren’t so easy to provoke, look."
With yet another dragon roar, the Death Sky Dragon erged from the forest, entangling with the Green Dragon in battle. At the sa ti, the Corrosive Flying Dragons also ca to support, trapping the Green Dragon in a dangerously tight situation.
"The Undead seem to have anticipated this old fellow’s appearance. Hey, let’s slip in and rescue You Se while they’re busy fighting!"
Huang Quan glanced at you and then nodded solemnly.
Hua Jieyu saw you and Huang Quan disappear over the city wall, she couldn’t help but feel a little worried.
Ling Yifeng, sensing his elder sister’s concern, consoled her, "Don’t worry, that guy is no ordinary person. He won’t be easily killed."
Hua Jieyu let out a deep sigh, holding Little Fire Wolf while watching the battle from the sidelines. At this mont, Ling Yifeng also ordered the rcenaries to position themselves in formation. He did not order the rcenaries to join the siege but instead took a stance of watching the tigers fight from the mountain, only occasionally smashing a few reckless skeletons. Seeing this, both the Undead and the Green-skin Tribe ignored the humans and continued their fierce battle.
"Hmm?" About half an hour later, Ling Yifeng saw three figures appear atop the city walls. He imdiately raised his hand and shouted, "Retreat!"
Just when everyone was puzzled, you and Huang Quan, with a boy of about thirteen or fourteen years old, jumped down from the city wall and rushed towards them at a swift pace.
"Mu Yun!" Seeing you covered in blood, Hua Jieyu cried out in alarm.
"I’m okay." You brought You Se in front of Ling Yifeng, imdiately lifted Hua Jieyu up, and ran forward without stopping, "Everyone, retreat quickly!"
Only then did the others realize what was happening. Ling Yifeng looked up and down at the boy before him, and finally, his tightly furrowed brows relaxed: "You Se, do you still rember ?"
"You are..." The boy’s gaze was sowhat cold, and he looked disheveled, with a sallow and lean face, obviously a sign of malnourishnt, showing that he has indeed suffered a lot over the years.
"I’m your Brother Yifeng."
"Brother Yifeng?" Upon hearing the man before him was indeed Ling Yifeng, You Se imdiately hugged him and cried out with joy, "It’s really Brother Yifeng! Brother, I’ve finally seen you again!" As he spoke, You Se began to cry.
"Good brother, now is not the ti for a reunion, let’s leave quickly!"
"Okay!"
The Green Dragon was too occupied to do anything but watch as You Se was rescued by humans. Yet, he snorted with disdain: "Hmph, despicable humans, the end of your empire is coming."
Ling Yifeng and his group hurriedly retreated for over a dozen kiloters, eventually setting up camp on an open area. At the sa ti, to avoid being intercepted by enemies along the way, Ling Yifeng took out a large number of magic scrolls and had seventy magicians prepare a large Transmission Magic Array.
Hua Jieyu had no emotional attachnt to You Se. After eting You Se, she was intimately entangled with you. As a separation was imminent, it was only in your arms that she could feel warmth.
"Mu Yun, I want more." Hua Jieyu twisted her waist that could drive countless n wild, all while in your embrace.
"Don’t force yourself anymore, or you’ll have to be carried back to Somari in a sedan chair." You kissed Hua Jieyu’s tender red lips.
"Mu Yun, I’m having so regrets, I don’t want to leave you." Hua Jieyu simply pressed her whole body against your broad and sturdy chest.
You didn’t say anything, instead just gently caressing Hua Jieyu’s smooth jade back.
Truth be told, how could you bear to leave Hua Jieyu? She is your wife, after all. It’s just that in order to activate the Seal of Truesky as quickly as possible, you have no choice but to let Hua Jieyu return to the Xuanqin Empire.
"Mu Yun, what should I do?" Hua Jieyu looked up at your handso face that srized her.
"Sad Plains is not a place for you, and since you are the Empire’s Princess, you should return to the Empire." You kissed Hua Jieyu’s forehead, "Don’t worry. Although I’m not a good person, I will never deceive the person I love, and the vows I’ve made to you will never change."
You exchanged long looks, and before long, the room was again filled with the sounds of spring and Hua Jieyu’s lting moans.
