Clang! The sound of the sword resonated within the canyon, and the Canglan Sword carried by Liou Yuan was already unsheathed.

The smile on Liou Yuan’s face did not fade as he pressed his index and middle fingers together, performing the Celestial Calculation Skill for Taming Objects, controlling the Canglan Sword to rapidly shoot towards the stone slab.

Clang! The Canglan Sword emitted a bluish-green sword light in the dim canyon, illuminating the surroundings.

Almost instantaneously as the sword light flickered, the Canglan Sword, empowered by the Celestial Calculation Skill for Taming Objects, slashed upon the body of the stone slab.

Boom! A rumbling sound.

The Canglan Sword left a deep sword mark on the stone, causing shattered stone debris to fly.

Strangely, that stone actually withstood Liou Yuan’s strike without collapsing; instead, black liquid spurted from the area marked by the sword.

Roar! A furious roar echoed at the canyon’s bottom following the slash of the Canglan Sword.

The stone slab over a ter high, under Liou Yuan’s gaze, struggled and detached from the cliff face, revealing its true form as a ferociously aggressive stone giant.

Its stone texture and color were indistinguishable from the surrounding canyon rocks.

Its head, nearly round, bore sharp corners as if split into pieces by imnse force and reassembled.

Suspended on the round stone head were two clusters of faint green flas, embedded in deep stone sockets, flickering slightly, emitting a cold and eerie glow.

Its mouth was a deep crevice, and when it opened, the sound emitted was akin to stones grinding against each other—dull yet soul-stirring.

"It really is a Star Erosion Demon." Carefully examining the peculiarly shaped monster before him, Liou Yuan’s tone was imbued with astonishnt.

Having been in this world for over two years, he had encountered Star Evil, Demon Evil, and even Evil Corpse.

This stone-like demon was, in fact, even more ghostly and bizarre than the previous beings.

Upon closer inspection, every part of its body seed no different from rock.

Yet, the peculiar thing was that it still showed signs of life.

The enormous sword mark carved by the Canglan Sword on the chest of the Star Erosion Demon continued to ooze black blood.

Liou Yuan’s strike enraged the Star Erosion Demon, which, upon detachnt from the cliff wall, stared directly at him with flaming eyes.

In its pupils were ferocity and greed, akin to a starving beggar who hadn’t eaten in ages.

While roaring, it took heavy steps, charging towards Liou Yuan.

Due to its imnsely weighty body, each step taken caused small localized ground tremors within the canyon.

Coupled with its fla-burning olive-green eyes, it exuded an imposing presence.

"Hey!" Liou Yuan exclaid. Ever since arriving in this world, he’s witnessed all sorts of storms; such a minor scene couldn’t faze him at all.

"Let first see what tricks this thing has." Liou Yuan pressed his index and middle fingers together again, controlling the revolving Canglan Sword above his head with a faint golden glow, sending it shooting forth again.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! The Canglan Sword unleashed dozens of consecutive strikes.

The Green Tide Sword light instantly overwheld the Star Erosion, with the surging sword gleam engulfing it like waves.

The superior Spiritual Sword, Canglan Sword, bolstered by the Green Tide Sword gleam and under the control of the Celestial Calculation Skill for Taming Objects.

Ordinary cultivators at the Qi Cultivation Seventh Layer could be severely wounded or instantly killed under the montum of Liou Yuan’s strikes.

Despite the Star Erosion Demon’s astonishing defensive capabilities, it was still only at the Qi Cultivation Sixth Layer, unable to withstand this assault.

Crash! After the tremor of the sword strikes.

Splatter! Dozens of bloody streaks erupted from the Star Erosion’s ter-high body.

Its body collapsed to the ground, its stone-created mass bursting into hundreds of fragnts upon impact.

Only the round head remained barely intact.

But the olive-green flas within its eye sockets extinguished, signaling the death of the Star Erosion Demon.

Clang! Under Liou Yuan’s control, the Canglan Sword flew back into the sheath on his back.

Expressionless, Liou Yuan walked to the corpse of the Star Erosion Demon, picked up its millstone-sized head from the rubble, and examined it closely.

He couldn’t help but marvel out loud, "I have no idea where this thing ca from; it definitely doesn’t belong to this world."

Jiuli State, Jin Dynasty, Linlang Domain, Misty Valley, and Lingyuan made up the territorial map of this realm, collectively known as the Cyan Feather Realm.

This Star Erosion Demon fell into Jiuli and Jin Dynasty from a teor, evidently not a creature of this realm, hence its ghostly and bizarre appearance.

"The outside world must be more amazing." Liou Yuan spoke with anticipation.

Limited by his cultivation, he couldn’t yet explore all the wonders of the Cyan Feather Realm, let alone beyond it.

Liou Yuan could only suppress his yearning and redirect his focus back to the Star Erosion head in his hand, activating his Evil Eyes.

In the enormous millstone-like Star Erosion head, he didn’t sense any unusual aura.

"It’s not in the head." As Liou Yuan’s purple-glinting eyes moved away from the head, he casually tossed it behind him.

Imdiately, he began searching ticulously amidst the ground-filled fragnts of the shattered Star Erosion.

It didn’t take long before he found a thumb-sized black, smooth crystal.

"This must be the stone bead that Protector Zhao Zhuoran ntioned."

Liou Yuan, using his Evil Eyes, probed into the interior of the black stone bead.

He observed rich black Spiritual Power, darker than ink.

Such Spiritual Power was neither akin to the Spiritual Power within cultivators nor similar to demonic power of Demon Evils.

Clearly, the Spiritual Power within this stone bead couldn’t be absorbed by cultivators either.

The Five Extres Mountain Sect simply collected these stone beads for use in Artifact Refining and Alchemy.

For Liou Yuan, participating in this Outer Sect training, this stone bead served as a material to enhance his Stone Skill and climb the Outer Sect rankings, with no intention of trying to absorb it.

Casually placing the stone bead in his Storage Bag, Liou Yuan calculated his Stone Skill.

"One Qi Cultivation Sixth Layer Star Erosion equals one Stone Skill, a decent start."

With that said, Liou Yuan stood up from the pile of Star Erosion debris, just about to leave the canyon.

His eyes, always flickering with a purple hue, suddenly glanced at the star erosion remnants shattered into hundreds of pieces.

In those remnants resembling stone fragnts, Liou Yuan saw unusual colors.

Three of the stone remnants emitted a faint red color.

Although the cultivation of the star erosion was entirely within that stone bead, it was clear that other parts of its body also had so spiritual residue.

Liou Yuan crouched down again, picking up the three stones emitting a faint red glow.

"The higher-ups of the Five Extres Mountain can use these stone beads for artifact refining, alchemy, and array formations."

"Then these fragnts, which still retain quite a bit of spirituality, might also have similar uses."

Liou Yuan wasn’t skilled in artifact refining or alchemy, but he could now barely lay a few basic arrays.

The stone bead had to be exchanged for Stone Skill, and Liou Yuan couldn’t touch it, but these few stone fragnts he could collect to try setting up an array.

Using them as spiritual objects similar to array cores.

"Despite the limited spirituality, there’s a large quantity. When piled together, they could serve as spiritual objects for arrays."

Liou Yuan’s eyes brightened as he spoke, eagerly storing the three stone fragnts into his storage bag, to be utilized for array formations.

After completing these tasks, Liou Yuan slowly rose and looked up towards the top of the canyon.

From this position, the light from that blue lantern hanging high above the Erosion Land was just able to shine on him.

He estimated the distance from the bottom of the canyon to the top to be over a thousand feet.

Compared to the canyon’s rock walls, Liou Yuan’s body seed even smaller than dust.

"In the Qi Cultivation Realm, one cannot fly in the sky. At this height, even a cultivator at the Qi Cultivation Ninth Layer wouldn’t dare to claim they’d survive a fall."

"Why bring to such a desolate place?"

Liou Yuan’s complaints did not cease, and his body turned to look towards one end of the canyon.

He did not know how long the canyon was or how long it would take to walk out of it.

But that was certainly better than falling from above and dying.

"Take it one step at a ti. After all, there are star erosions to kill here." Liou Yuan muttered and continued walking toward one end of the canyon.

This world lack the sun, moon, or stars, with only an ancient lantern casting light.

There was no distinction between north, south, east, and west.

So, Liou Yuan didn’t know which direction he was heading.

While walking, Liou Yuan’s facial features started slowly changing.

He hadn’t forgotten the Liou family mber at the Qi Cultivation Eighth Layer standing beside Liou Tao before he entered the Erosion Land.

To be safe, he chose to disguise himself, taking on the appearance of Di Xi, the dean of Donghe Academy, whom he had personally beheaded in Yanhe City.

"Heh, with this appearance, if I encounter anyone from the Liou family, they certainly wouldn’t be as guarded against ." Liou Yuan touched his face and revealed a cunning smile.

"And I can take action from the shadows, striking first."

Moreover, the dark environnt of the Erosion Land was undoubtedly perfect for utilizing the Night Concealing Mask’s stealth capabilities.

Especially with the canyon filled with vast shadows of darkness.

Liou Yuan activated the Night Concealing Mask, blending his body into the shadows like a silhouette, leaving no trace.

Whether he encountered disciples here for training or star erosions, it was challenging for them to detect Liou Yuan’s presence.

It naturally provided Liou Yuan with a layer of protection.

"The marvel of strange objects, truly mysterious beyond compare." In the darkness, Liou Yuan’s low murmur could be heard.

The length of the canyon floor exceeded Liou Yuan’s expectations by far.

He had walked in one direction for about a day and still saw no sign of an end.

Instead, he encountered another star erosion along the way.

Its deceptive appearance, in a world full of jagged rocks, made it genuinely difficult to notice them if he wasn’t careful.

Liou Yuan couldn’t keep the Evil Eyes activated all the ti, as the spiritual power consumption was too high; he could only use them periodically.

So, by pure chance, he happened to run into a star erosion lurking at the canyon floor.

Liou Yuan’s foot landed on the star erosion’s head.

Due to the Night Concealing Mask, from afar, it looked like a shadow covering the ground.

The star erosion didn’t react imdiately until it opened its ghostly green eyes, startling Liou Yuan.

Then, the battle began.

Liou Yuan employed the Shock Tide Swordsmanship, taking seven or eight sword moves to slice the Qi Cultivation Seventh Layer star erosion into pieces.

He harvested another Two-Stone Skill stone bead and two dark red stones.

Liou Yuan continued his journey, calculating that he had been in this training ground for an entire day and night.

Unfortunately, there was no difference between day and night here; Liou Yuan, slightly exhausted from continuous battles, had to find a crack at the canyon floor just big enough to fit his body, where he could take a break.

With the help of the star stones he carried for auxiliary training, while operating the Five Mansions Star Gazing Breathing Skill, Liou Yuan was astonished to find he could absorb the spiritual energy of this training ground.

All disciples of the Five Extres Mountain knew that the spiritual energy in the training ground was vastly different from the outside world.

Not to ntion that cultivators couldn’t absorb the energy within; even demons and star evils couldn’t draw power from it.

Yet, Liou Yuan could still cultivate as usual, naturally due to the Fixed Star Compass within him.

This realization brought him a mont of smugness; he chuckled, "Looks like even during training, cultivation won’t be neglected."

Saying this, Liou Yuan continued to channel the surrounding spiritual energy into his body while absorbing the spiritual energy from the star stones. His training speed was honestly no less than outside.

After all, the spiritual energy here was incredibly dense.
