Du Lai and the others were far enough away, and with Yan Qingwen’s early warning, they managed to dodge in ti and weren’t too badly injured.
As soon as Yan Qingwen shouted “Catch him,” the fastest among them imdiately chased after the King!
Fu Miaoxue wiped the bloodstains from her body, annoyed and angry, she yelled, “It’s Willard! Finish him off for !!!”
However, Willard was already near the boundary line. Seeing them in pursuit, he calmly stepped back twice and his figure imdiately disappeared into the fog.
“Co back!” Du Lai stopped, “Be careful, it’s a trap! Circle around from the other side!”
The subjects running at the front stopped and turned back with Du Lai, taking an alternate route along the triangle-shaped territory’s other boundary line.
Yan Qingwen and Chen Hui also hurried to follow.
As they left, Yan Qingwen looked back at the Steel Puppet lying on the ground motionless, obviously seriously damaged in the explosion.
Yan Qingwen’s heart was filled with mixed emotions, and he whispered softly, “…Thanks, old pal.”
Then without looking back any longer, he followed his teammates.
When they reached the adjacent territory, they imdiately noticed the sensor status had changed! The holographic projection was no longer Fu Miaoxue, but Willard.
“He took over this territory while we were away!” Fu Miaoxue was furious, “Damn it! The sensor is still within the security ti, we can’t change the ownership!”
“Don’t worry,” Du Lai consoled, “All his subjects are dead, now he’s just one person. No matter how much territory he takes, we will eventually take it back.”
“That’s right,” Fu Miaoxue, feeling much more relieved after hearing this, said, “We have eight people! No matter how tough he is, he can’t be our match.”
“I’ve never seen such ruthlessness… he sacrificed all of his subjects…”
Chen Hui, still in shock from the earlier scene, had been desperately running away when the explosion occurred, and hadn’t seen the tragic sight. But the bloody aftermath was enough for her to imagine what had happened.
Another subject chid in, “Yeah, that King is not human!”
“Alright,” Du Lai said, frowning, “Let’s catch the person first before we talk about this.”
Everyone stopped worrying about the sensor and followed the direction to the territory where Willard had just been, but it seed Willard had escaped a step ahead. The empty territory had only one sensor, which had already been changed to Willard’s status.
Another territory had been taken over.
Fu Miaoxue was seething with rage.
Du Lai kept his cool and led the pursuit.
After chasing through seven or eight territories, each one had been taken! And the timing for each sensor was just perfect, within ten minutes, making it impossible for them to take it back imdiately!
Everyone grew increasingly impatient.
Moving on to another territory, they just happened to see Willard standing in front of a sensor!
He touched the sensor with his wristwatch, and the blue light on the sensor changed to red in an instant, while the holographic projection switched to his likeness!
Du Lai suddenly tensed up, afraid that the opponent would escape again, and hastily threw several knife blades!
Seeing this, Willard turned and ran!
But he was half a step too late, being hit in the calf and back. He stumbled and fell after running a few steps!
Fu Miaoxue was overjoyed, “Du Lai, finish him off quickly!”
Du Lai walked over.
The Willard on the ground slowly turned his head to look at him, revealing a sinister smile.

For no reason… where did such a long strand of hair co from?
“Du Lai, why did you stop?” Fu Miaoxue stepped forward impatiently, “Hurry up and kill him! If he dies, we win!”
Du Lai turned around.
With a knife blade between two fingers, he swiftly sliced across Fu Miaoxue’s neck in a clean motion.
Fu Miaoxue was stunned.
She raised her hand to touch her neck, then incredulously looked at Du Lai, unable to accept, “Du Lai…”
