Du Lai had to admit, she had a point.
Clothes are consumables, especially in an island environnt. Sea water erosion, leaf scratches, and sun exposure all worsen clothing wear. It’s best to start protecting clothes now to avoid being scantily clad when rescued in the future.
Du Lai accepted the grass skirt Fu Miaoxue handed over, looked around, and went to the woods behind a rock to change.
No idea how she made it, but it was loosely put together, almost falling apart while wearing it, so Du Lai had to reinforce it himself before he managed to put it on.
If he took off his sneakers, his appearance now would be no different from a native, except for not being tan enough.
He thought of Fu Miaoxue again.
Clearly once so spoiled and annoying, she had now beco gentle and sensible. She must realize all survival hopes on the island depend on him, so she learned to restrain her temper.
