She pressed her palms against her heated cheeks and thought: Let’s pretend he’s complinting the hat…
Just then, Lu Yuwen said, “Looks like your phone’s ringing again.”
“Huh?” Su Man blinked, and instinctively reached into her bag to take out her phone. She found an unread ssage from Li Li.

That guy… he’s so proud—one of the top students in school, the youngest PhD. Other than professors and ntors, he’s never lowered his head to anyone.”
After a pause, Su Man murmured quietly, “I really wonder if his account was hacked…”
Lu Yuwen chuckled softly and pinched one of the wobbling ears on her hat. “Haven’t you always hoped he’d treat you better? Now that he’s willing to take a step back, why can’t you believe it? Co on, smile and start thinking about what outfit to wear, which shoes to pair, and which bag to bring that day.”
Su Man went quiet for a mont before replying softly, “Forget it… We’ve always been bickering, and now, all of a sudden, we’re supposed to watch a movie together… It feels weird.”
“Not used to it?” Lu Yuwen slipped his hands into his pockets, his tall and lean figure standing before her as he smiled, “Why don’t we go see a movie together? You can practice—get used to it in advance.”
