Nick had just left when Bai Youwei stood up, tapped her way upstairs, and knocked on Ada’s door:

"Ada, head to the service station and post another ssage on the forum."

Ada was catching up on sleep, but upon hearing Bai Youwei’s voice, he imdiately got up and asked while getting dressed: "What ssage should I post?"

Bai Youwei organized her thoughts outside the door: "Well... say that if another team finishes the dungeon first, the teams that bought the strategy would have to wait another year, wouldn’t they?"

Ada paused in dressing.

Who else could finish the dungeon first if not the NB Team?

As it stands, Disturbing People Team had about ten dungeons left, and the thief NB Team slightly more, probably over twenty now.

Given the current progress, the only teams capable of catching up with them were Jason and his crew. If the unthinkable happens and Jason gets ahead, they would only have next year to wait, and if next year’s slots are taken, the teams that bought the strategy would...

Simply have to wait yet another year.

A twitch appeared at the corner of Ada’s eye.

How ruthless...

As soon as this ssage is posted, not only will teams scramble to protect Nick, but they will also rush to deal with Jason and his gang...

It’s just like Sharkman without drawing blood.

Jason could never have dread of this, right? All his scheming, betraying Yuri, deceiving Natasha, and yet still failing to secure a slot.

Would he beco so disappointed that he goes mad?

Would he feel regret?... Feel guilty for recklessly killing a forr teammate? If he knew this would be the outco, would he still have been so cutthroat?

Ada felt that he probably wouldn’t.

Thinking this way, he felt that Yuri and Natasha were particularly unfortunate.

He got dressed and left the room, resolved to carefully craft that forum post...

...

The ssage spread like the wind throughout the whole competitive area and quickly fernted.

Everyone knew that there was a top player with 999 ratings in the Disturbing People Team, and everyone also knew that if the NB Team’s progress surpassed that of Disturbing People, there would be no hope for next year!

The situation for Jason suddenly beca difficult.

Suspicious people started lingering outside his residence, and he encountered inexplicable attacks when entering the subway.

He had to be more cautious in his actions, frantic with worry that Nick might snatch this year’s slot, and even more worried that next year, a flood of 999-rated teams would compete for the slots.

Fortunately, the hospital’s security system was still quite reliable, and unless Natasha agreed, ordinary people simply couldn’t see her.

What he was most worried about was sothing happening to Natasha, leading to their team disbanding.

At seven in the morning, Natasha sat on the hospital bed taking her dicine. Her upper body could move freely now, but the bandages on her legs would still need a few days to be removed.

She was almost cut off from the world, with nothing to do every day, the only thing was to adhere strictly to the doctor’s advice and recover as soon as possible.

The robotic nurse walked into the ward with a smile and said, "A gentleman nad Augustus Ada Crowell would like to see you, would you like to see him?"

Natasha was montarily startled, fell silent for a while, and then said, "Bring him up."

The nurse smiled, nodded, and left the ward.

After waiting for a few minutes, Ada arrived.

He was covered in dirt, dusty and disheveled, so much so that Natasha was taken aback for several seconds when she first saw him.

"What happened to you?" she asked in surprise.

"Oh... it’s nothing, just ca out from a desert dungeon." Ada ruffled his hair, sand cascading down, "You must have heard, right? Recently, Jason has been hot on our trail. Originally behind by more than a dozen dungeons, now it’s only five or six."

Natasha pursed her lips and whispered, "He ntioned it a few tis. He said if he can’t catch up, he plans to compete for next year’s slot, it’s just a matter of waiting two more months."

Ada stared into her eyes, "And you? What do you think?"

"?" Natasha lowered her eyelids, "I am waiting, to see if he’ll indeed seek revenge for Yuri."
