Natasha’s expression was frozen, and it took her a long ti to co back to her senses, until the nurse beside her gently reminded her: “If it’s inconvenient for you, or if you want to rest, you can refuse the eting.”
Ada rembered what Bai Youwei had said, that Jason could very likely be the mastermind behind the scenes, but seeing Natasha’s current state, he worried that bringing up Yuri’s matter again would agitate her.
While Natasha was in a daze, Bai Youwei said, “Let’s et.”

Bai Youwei was also looking at her, calmly saying, “I can probably guess what he wants to talk to you about.”

Jason ca alone.
Walking into the ward, he saw Bai Youwei, Shen Mo, and Ada, gave them a cold glance, and then said emotionlessly, “I’d like to have a word alone with Natasha.”
Ada scoffed coldly, his eyes filled with scorn.
“Fine,” Shen Mo said indifferently, “but try to keep it brief. She’s very weak right now.”
Jason: “It won’t take long.”
Shen Mo gave a slight nod and left the ward with Bai Youwei and Ada.
Outside the ward was a long corridor, they didn’t go far but found seats on so nearby chairs to rest.
Ada was uneasy: “What if he tries to harm Natasha?”
“He won’t,” Shen Mo shook his head gently, “A ticulous person wouldn’t be so foolish as to make a move in a hospital. There are caras everywhere, guards on the ground floor. If sothing happens to Natasha, he won’t be able to escape either.”
Bai Youwei curled her lips and joked, “And besides, if anything happens to Natasha, the team leader would beco Ada, which is absolutely not what he wants to see. So, Natasha is safe for now.”
“But that bomb earlier was ant for Natasha’s life!” Ada was anxious and kept looking towards the closed ward door, “That bastard, who knows what sort of nonsense he’s spinning now!”
He paced back and forth, took out a pack of cigarettes intending to smoke, but recalling the hospital’s no-smoking policy, stuffed it back in frustration.

Whenever he recalled sothing about his daughter, he would carve it once more, working on it on and off for two years. His craftsmanship really improved…”
Jason lanted as he examined the wooden figurine, “When I left the team, this figurine only had a head… If nothing had happened to him, he might have finished it and t his real daughter.”
Natasha felt a pang of grief and turned her face away, her eyes reddening.
“I had just seen Yuri, and then this happened to him. When I heard about it this morning, I simply couldn’t accept it.” Jason put the wooden figurine back and looked solemnly at Natasha on the bed, “This was definitely preditated. The person who did this is not only familiar with your residence but also had a major conflict with you recently. Natasha, think carefully, do you have any suspects?”
